				|
 |
				| http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_cream
according to wikipedia, before 1985 ice cream was produced in factories and it is cheaper than the time where ice creams are only used by royalties

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sundae

according to this one sundaes are already around before 1985

now what I am asking are this
 1. Wouldn;t it be neat if a fine establishment such as pleasure castle have a personal ice cream parlor for the ladies and gentleman there? particularly one that has sweet tooth?

 2. What would be your character favourite ice cream?

it could go to as normal as chocolate, or for the herbivores maybe like....grass flavour?

 I dunno really

I personally like coffee flavour but i'm sure there's no such flavour around 1985 though

				| I've always been kinda fond of mint-flavored ice cream, with dark chocolate shavings.
I would say, I do favor soft ice-cream over hard ice-cream

				| Ok, a few names come to mind:
 Kilwin's

 Cold Stone Creamery

Marble Slab Creamery (I'd say cheap knock-off, but they really are about the same as Cold Stone in quality)

As far as a favorite flavor, chocolate Denali moose tracks!

				| I prefer soft ice cream myself. I like to use my tongue to eat ice cream (fuck spoons).
I don't really have a favorite flavor either, but you can't go wrong with vanilla.

I did a little research on this subject when I was creating my fursona awhile back.

early forms of carbonated water where invented around the late 1700's

during the 1800's soda fountains became pretty common world wide, but bottled soft drinks didn't become popular until the 1900's

this is just the stuff i can remember,

				| Cookie dough ice cream would have to be my favorite.
As far as the cocaine in coca-cola goes, I believe that cocaine was indeed one of the ingredients.

				| (( Coke-cola used to have cocaine, but, at the time, it wasn't sold as a "soft drink". Rather it was sold as a medicinal tonic. A lot of medicine at the time was proprietary, such as Vicks vapor rub, Listerine Rinse, and Luden's Cough Suppressant. A lot of medicines at the time had opium distillates, as a lot of the negative effects and addictive properties while "known" weren't widely accepted, and the opiates did have a number of positive effects that could not be replicated by other pharmacological means.
Now, as an aside, being a Laudanum addict was one of the character traits I gave Valerie Lynn Carms.))

				| Vanilla with tonnes of fruit. Big bowl, scoop of vanilla, handful of blueberries, raspberries and quartered strawberries.
My favorite dessert of all time.

I could'nt agree more. Nothing beats Cookies n' Cream. Specifically, Oreo Cookies n' Cream. Also among my favorites are Chcolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Vanilla with chocolate syrup.

				| In 1895 you would probably not get your ice-cream on a cone or in a tub, but rather on a small solid glass or china "cup". This was the size of a pool ball cut in half, again solid but with a very small indentation to hold a very small scoop of ice-cream, with a small handle to hold it with. You would recieve this from the vendor, eat the ice-cream and then return it to the vendor to be used again.
However the odds were that the vendor woud not wash it before serving it to the next customer!
Sometimes I am glad I live in a more "disposable" culture.
