Trying not to make eye contact being slightly nervous next to a woman, the two rabbits walked the hallway when Diana had put her arms behind her head talking of a mr.Rodney hopeing he had a explanation of what was going on.
Not exactly knowing who that is xivak listened on when suddenly she stopped in her place dropping her arms as she began to shiver. About to raise his hands to ask what was wrong she took a few breathes, looked at him with a smile, and continued walking on;
"One thing I know for sure...," she said as she then stopped and turn slightly back, "....The Chapter of our adventure is about to be written."
*Music*
<_< >_>
"um, did you hear music just now?" Xivak asked as she nodded no.
Shrugging as he caught up with her and they continued on they came across a ladder going both up and down with a map plan next to it.
"Ah, finally some help" xivak said as he looked up where they were. "Think... we have to climb up bout a floor and we'll be close to the bridge" _________________ Fursona Info.

Valerie ground her teeth, as the china-man instructed New York not to make the radio call. She hated being corrected. Patience, Valerie... he might have a point. Still, she couldn't keep herself from smirking when New York went ahead and made the radio-call anyway. At least New York understands who is running this operation.
Turning her attention back to the contessa, Valerie answered the cats question, "Perhaps. One has spent a decent amount of time preparring for this trip, and... One really is not fully certain what One may find. Tombs have an... interesting way of retaining all sorts of mystical powers, not to mention the fact that theifs and graverobbers are also attracted to such places. One does hope that Naga bodyguard of yours is reliable in a fight. Thieves do not tend to fight fairly."
Looking at New York, Valerie instructed, "Good. Now, till Captain Studie returns with his place, you will see that the rest of the expeditions equipment and luggage is prepped. One does not want any wasted time, once Captain Studie returns. It will take long enough to load up his place as it is."
At long last, she turned to the oriental. She knew he knew something about what was going on, and she was never one to mince words. Addressing him directly she glared at him while she spoke, "Now, you are not from around here, and yet One does not remember inviting you either. Did you receive an invitation from the Brit? Perhaps you are in cahoots, yes? One assumes you know something of Indian and Oriental magicks, yes? Now, while One appreciates your input in such things, magics from the Near East and these savage lands follow a different set of protocals. Your tricks might not work a second time. Whatever the Brit has offered you for payment, One is feeling generous today, and pay you fifty-percent more."
Extending her paw, and expecting it to be shook, she smirked and said, "Welcome to my expedition." |

((BUMP!!!!
Anyway, with all the new rps being slapped down into place, I thought I'd repost one of the longer, more involved RPs that, imho, worked pretty well... up until Tearlach had to bow out of it.
Tearlach organized who would go when, gave everyone an opportunity for a turn, accepted "delay's" if requested promptly, and pretty much kept the ball rolling when things started to get stalled.
So... just something to think about, if you're interested in organizing, recruiting, and keeping an RP going.)) |

It's dead unfortunately. This RP was different in a couple of ways. It had the turn order that people had to follow, and people had 24 hours to post their part once it was their turn. Another thing was that it wasn't open to new people joining it, and it had a sort of DM in Tearlach, who would introduce some central characters and move the sotyr on.
I really thought it was a great idea for a RP. I personally struggled at times to come up with anything for my posts, and sometimes I thought that the wait between posts was too long, but it was very interesting to be part of nonetheless. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

We did put a lot of work into it. One of the hardest parts was coming up with the rules. I wouldn't mind trying to bring this RP back if there are others that would still like to partake. I still have all of the paperwork saved on my pc so starting it back up wouldn't be that hard.
Any takers? _________________ Story
