Johnny smiled as he noticed more people attending Caroline's party. It seemed the young shop-owner would become fairly popular in this town.

At Robert's entrance to the party, Johnny immediately shook his old friend's hand. They had known each other since Johnny's more adventurous days as an outlaw, and more than once one of the inventor's ingenious devices had saved Johnny's hide. Of course, there were just as many times in the past when one of Mr. Stone's experimental inventions backfired on the coyote, but Johnny wasn't the type to hold a grudge for the occasional accident. New friends were wonderful, but old friends were a blessing.

He didn't know the otter fellow who introduced himself to Caroline. Mr. Bushmill was still a mystery, but judging from the fine bourbon the fellow had offered her as a gift, Johnny would be sure to befriend the newcomer soon.

Looking at the dartboard, he noticed that it had been cracked at the edge by Henk's over-zealous throw, but it wasn't too badly damaged. "I think it'll be fine, Henk," Johnny replied. It was fairly obvious that Henk was infatuated with Caroline even before the cobra confided in him, but Johnny wasn't quite sure if it was due to the alcohol Henk drank earlier, or if Henk was serious. Still, something about the cobra's capricious nature made Johnny hesitate in helping him woo Miss Wellwater. In fact, Johnny had to admit that she was steadily becoming more and more interesting to himself.

He noticed Caroline looking at him, anticipating him playing the dart game with her. Who was he to refuse? Casually, he took ahold of a dart, asking, "Are we playing by the points, or will this simply be a contest of accuracy?" Even before she answered, he lobbed a dart with practiced skill, hitting the inner-ring of the 20.

[Caroline]

Smirking Caroline went over to the Naga after he cracked the board. She rehung the board, and paced back over to the line. "I was thinking maybe just some 301, Johnny. No worries, Mr. Naga. It's an old corkboard, and they're prone to crack a bit. I've been meaning to replace it anyway with a nicer one. Darts isn't a game a strength, but of finess."

She waved the Naga over, and then briefly instructed, "Okay, now stand here on the line." She nudged his feet to where they were more comfortable to aiming, and not to a fighting stance. "Now, it's all in the wrist." She took his arm, and guided it through the motion. "See, no shoulder at all. You don't need to force the dart, but guide it."

Seeing the Otter arrive, Caroline excused herself from Henk, and waved at the otter, greeting him with a friendly handshake. She looked at the bottle of wiskey she blinked for a couple of times, before her grin became large with a joke. "An Irishman giving away wiskey. And a good bottle at that." Looking back at the picnic table she commented, "Something this good needs better glasses." Turning back to the otter, she contined, "Thank you, Ewan. I'm Caroline. Caroline Wellwater. And, your hunch is right. I'm from the States. But this wiskey needs to be sipped from better glasses than I brough. Please, help yourself to some food. If you'll excuse me for a moment..."

Caroline took the bottle with her as she walked back over the backdoor of the shop. Stopping at the door she called, "John... would you mind giving me a hand with the shot glasses. They're crystal from Russia."

Walking inside with the coyote, she closed the door behind her and said, "Alright, John, can I ask you something? It's about the Naga... Henk."

Henk was going into heaven. While Caroline instructed him how to play darts her scent was hitting his tongue and it was wonderfull.

While Caroline said welcome to Ewan, tried Henk some trows. The first hit the numeber 12, the second hit the triple 5 and the thirth the center.

After Caroline was in the house with Johnny, walked Henk to Ewan. "He Ewan could you help me with some advice. I lost my hart to the beauty of a wolverine, but I don't know how to tell her that I love her with all my hart."

But than hit it Henk. Johnny was inside with Caroline?! Johnny had more tricks on his sleef than him to charm the ladies. Was he also after Caroline? Was Caroline after Johnny? If so what kind of chance had Henk than! Who would have a relationship with a cold, deserteur snake. When you could have the handsome coyote Johnny.

Henk took the last of his coffee and walked to the gardendoor to leave the picknick. "Maybe I can find a place to cry and comince a honorable death by my own sword. " He thought. The Lioness tried to get his attention by standing in front of him.

"He scaly, why don't you come here with me and tell me about you skills?"
Henk looked up and said."Please leave me alone, the woman how I love has no intersets in me. Caroline is with Johnny. I wanna kill my self. Bye" The Lioness runs to the house, she had to clear this or Henk Johnny and Caroline would never forgive them self.

Ewan beamed. "Excellent, a woman who can appreciate the intricacies of fine whiskey. I await your return, until then I will take up your offer and appease my watering mouth." The food smelled absolutely delicious and it was all Ewan could do but to slowly serve himself up a plate instead of just going caveman on the meal.

As Ewan enjoyed the food, he saw Henk approach him. Ewan greeted the cobra kindly and listened to his question. "Well, mate. I suppose if thats the way you feel and you can't get over it, I suppose out and out asking her to dinner would be a start. Although, knowing you, youve probably dropped several very loud hints. I expect she would respond if interested. If not, well..." Ewan trailed off with a shrug.

Ewan expected a reply, but Henk suddenly walked away before the lioness came running back. Ewan intercepted her; "What's all that about, then?"

[wait, is it my turn again? I hope I'm not stepping in front of anyone, but I think maybe Mr. Stone goes after me... not having Drodel here threw me off.]

Johnny quirked an eyebrow at Caroline's question and replied, "Is this about how that daffy cobra's been swooning over you all night? Because I'll be honest with you, I've only had a little bit of experience with the fella; I'm not really an expert on Henk's moods or motivations..."

Johnny didn't much like being put on the spot like this, having to vouch for people he hardly knew... Henk was not much more than an acquaintance to Johnny. Granted, he was one of the more eccentric acquaintances Johnny had run into since he came to this town, but he didn't feel comfortable relating Henk's faults or merits when he didn't truly know who the cobra was. He just knew him as a perpetually randy snake with odd social skills and very little tact, but that didn't seem to be a very fair description of someone.

Intrigued none the less by the conversation and Caroline's secretive behavior, Johnny asked, "Why so interested? Is he your type or something?"

Evan saw the new store and looked at his nearly depleated cigoret pack. "I should check this place out." Evan mussed to him self untell he notested Henk runing off crying.

Evan ran after him, "Hay Henk! what's wrong?" he said with Genuine consern for Henk as he wondered what was wrong.

*pats Johnny on the shoulder as Caroline comes over. "I'll be testing it this Saturday, please, stop by my shop and I'll be happy to show you how to work it." then stands aside and takes his last cigar from his breast pocket, trimming the end then using a wooden match to stoke it to light.*

Caroline began to fidget with he braid as she stumbled over the words to say to the coyote. "Well... you see, Johnny... I'm... I'm not used to people just... fawning over me like the Naga has been. Sure, I've seen them do so with my sisters and mother, but not... not with me. Most of the time when men talk to me, it's only to get closer to one of them... so... is he really serious about what he's saying? I've... seen enough of him around town to notice he's... a bit capricious and mercurial with his moods and his fancies... I'm... I'm not sure if he's being sincere."

Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, she walked over to the cupboard under the main counter, and pulled out a short-stack of crystal shot-glasses.

Smirking to herself and rolling her eyes to nothing she said, "Sorry about that, John. I must sound really stupid to you. Thanks for listening for a moment." Leaning up on her tiptoes, Caroline kissed the coyote on the cheek. "Thanks... sometimes, it's nice to see another American around here."

It was then than the lioness bardged in... everyone in the backyard could hear Caroline shout, "He's going to do what!"

Henk runs to the street with Evan in his sight. When Henk hears Evan asking what is going on, Henk turns around and lifts Ewan in the air by his clothes and jells to him "JOHNNY HAS CAROLINES HEART! NOT ME! I CANN'T LIFE WITH THE FACT THAT THE WOMAN HOW I LOVE HAS BE TAKEN BY SOME ONE ELSE! "

Henk than trows Evan on the street stones and want to run away again. Then a loud bang, pain in his head and Henk is counting stars and planets for his eyes.

Evan holstered his Webley Mk. 2 back into it's holster as Evan commented. "I better take you to see with this Caroline. Becuase eny other day, you would have saw it comeing very quickly." Evan said as he got back up and lifted Henk up with his good arm as he draged him to towards the shop.

as he reached the back yard of the shop he asked out loud, "Is ther a Caroline in the building?"

(P.S. Henk, i know that Ewan and Evan are almost simular.)

Ewan was still slightly confused as to what was going on. He was having a conversation with Henk before he zipped off.

He had tried to get the picture from the lioness present, but she pushed past him and ran to the building.

As he shrugged and kept eating his meal of pulled pork, he was startled by Caroline's shout and then saw Evan carry the now unconscious cobra over his shoulder.

Ewan was concerned as to what was going on, but the first thought through his head was I wonder if this means we won't be opening that whiskey tonight.

Ewan placed the plate down and ran over to Evan to help him with the large commando.

ShadowFox was walking down the street and stopped when he saw someone pistol-whip a cobra in the back of the head and then proceed to carry its unconscious victim to a nearby shop.
I may be new to Bon Bon but I know enough that that doesn't happen all too often he thought to himself something is not right here
Being ever cautious the fox grips his pistol, readies his knife, and slowly proceeds around the store only to be surprised by the sight of a small party. Confused he stores both weapons and stands there trying to figure out what was going on do any of them know what just happened out front?
