well for the Americans we did recently have that holiday so some may be totally plastered and wake up on a park bench in three days...but yeah, not a whole lot of people have been on recently.

I'd have no problem waiting for others, if we know that they are aware of the deadline and they have let everyone know they will be late. It's the waiting where we don't know if someone will be online again in a day or week that I find a bit tiresome.
Sorry if I sound negative. I'd just wish that the RP would move a little faster, so we wouldn't have to wait 10-12 days between each post. Perhaps that's a normal wait for people who are used to roleplaying, as this is my first so, so I can't really tell.

I can understand that, but as far as role plays that I've seen here most seem to favor slower pace as far as posting is concerned.

Hmm I don't know. He said that he would get something posted soon, but that was 40 hours ago. 
I don't know if he has perhaps forgotten about the RP, because he has posted several times in other threads since his post here. I don't know how to get his attention in that case.

Nice post, Caroline. Seems like we're on our way now.
I was just a little confused by the following sentence:
"She turned back around to face the back door to the Luxor Palace Grand Hotel, and watched as Captain Studie, the equine, some oriental-dressed helper, the countessa, and her naga bodyguard."
Not sure if the sentence is incomplete or it's just me who is confused.
Also, the motorbike. Is it the kind with a sidecar? Just for when I get to writing my post.

As to the bike... *shrug* I dunno, Symphony... I did kinda immagine it just being like a soft-tail without a sidecar... just the immage of a horse riding side-saddle made me smile and chuckle... and it would be a possibly intamate moment between the debutant and the starlet... and it made a bit more sense not to have the side-car, as John is just waaaaaaaaaaay to manly to have a sidecar... *snickers*)) |

Oh okay, I just read it and thought that there might be a word missing or such. But I get your meaning.
and as for the motorbike, I was actually picturing it with a sidecar, but then I read through your post again, and then Johnny's introduction, and now I agree with you about it being without the sidecar. And with your comment about Johnny's masculinity in regards to a sidecar as well.

Actually, I specifically left out saying whether it had a sidecar or not because I wasn't sure if it would come in handy or not. If either of you want it to have a sidecar, there's no reason why you can't just say it does in RP. I'm perfectly fine with that.
Johnny may be "manly", but he's also shrewd and very prepared for most situations. Well, most situations that don't involve magic or the undead, anyway...

My part's posted. Left it open as to whether or not there's a side-car on the bike (Symphony, you can make that decision when you post, I guess).
And just to put things into perspective, this is the first time Johnny's ever encountered anything this supernatural in his life, so he's really interested in any theories as to why mummies were attacking the hotel. Being more studied in science due to his interest in aviation and mechanics, Johnny tends to lean heavily on the "skeptic" side of the scale when it comes to the supernatural...
