I was learning more throws,joint locks,take downs,sarong,and golok(machete) techniques from the harimau(tiger)and monyet(monkey)styles of silat.I didn't find love,then again there's almost no females in the middle of a jungle.I didn't get hurt(too bad anyway)since I'm used to counters,reversals,landing on the ground,and debus(the silat version of the iron techniques found in Chinese martial arts.)I'm now more excited by going to Cali as I get to meet these guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksGAUjMe7YE

Sorry for the delays and lurking but now that I'm in California I hope to get back on track.I've been excited to see Dan Inosanto but more so in going to Nickelodeon Studios to see how LOK(Legend of Korra)is put together.

Going to the studio was the best experience ever!You wouldn't think I was going to be 34 on Friday with how stoked I was(and still going)getting to meet the guys who put the action together was amazing.

Thanks guys for the wishes.I apologize for the more blasé way I posted but I had alot of things going on in my life and still do.I'm sure some of you may have wondered why I chose to post here instead of a new thread and the best answer I can give is my memory problems are starting and their not getting any better any time soon.With that,the less stuff I have to keep track of the better it is for me.

I guess a quick update should be necessary.
1)bruised ribs----Wood and bone don't mix.Getting hit with kamagong(Filipino iron wood)hurts like you wouldn't believe.
2)Memory problems----Yep my long term/short term memories are "bleeding" into one another so I'm a bit more forgetful on a lot of things.
3)Visiting the past----Went to visit with my first(and late)Shifu's family and his grave.

Not too bad I'm still bandaged up with my bruised ribs(I'll find out in a few days if they've healed up). I've also taught a few Police and Sheriff Departments on various restraint methods as well as knife disarms,baton techniques,joint locks,and pressure points all for the upcoming New Year's parties.And I'll be doing the weight loss program starting next week.I do hope everyone here has had a good Christmas or Holiday and a good New Year as well.On a side note 2013 will be The Year of the Yin Water Snake for the Lunar New Year.

As it turns out my bruises were actually hiding a few hair line fractures.All in all they still hurt like hell but I'm thankful for my debus and iron body training.

Effective today,I've chosen to end my subscription to PBB but unlike so many others who've left,I'll at least try and explain my reasons not just for you guys,but also Ron and Vanessa as CC Bill kinda sucks on that endeavor.
1)My health has been in decline as of late and I must remain committed to that first and foremost.
2)I'm currently rebuilding relationships that were burned.
3)In between personal projects,medication,doctors,and my own training I find myself without a good amount of time nor energy to really devote to reading the comics or playing the games.
Not really a reason but I've been deliberating this decision for awhile now and even though the loss of the avatar was a factor a few years ago I think I would've left at the time they ended and not nearly 2 years later.I made the choices that took me away from the list and others got to capitalize on it.
I'm pretty sure I'll have more to post I just can't think of them right now.I do encourage people to post any comments,questions,or concerns and I'll do my best to address them.

I appreciate the concern over my health Tear and for the most part I do keep myself pretty happy and positive.As for the story,don't rush yourself into finishing it as I still have a few years left to go.
