To save face, the Protectorate always asks him to go on any mission that supports allied operations, hence the non-traditional color of his uniform.
Katmir graduated First Class from Shadowguard Academy, being an expert mimic (psiweave), tracker (psychometry), interrogator (telepath), and proven marksman (telekinetically hitting the target is cheating).
