Leaf glanced at the wine that the waitress presented to him. After thanking her, he took a sip of the wine. While he was drinking, the fact that she was without clothes suddenly crossed his mind. He coughed a bit on his drink and used a nearby napkin to wipe his mouth.
"Good grief, how could I have not seen that? I guess I worked at the Palace for too long..."

As Fran escorts some out, he sees a young man spit his wine out. he walks over to him
Fran: Excuse me Sir, I am Fran and I own the restaurant, are you alright? is the wine not satisfactory?

Leaf looks up at the young man who asked him about the wine.
"I'm sorry sir. The wine is good, it's just... I just realized the fact that the waitresses are... erm... lacking in clothing."
He suddenly realizes what Fran had said.
"Oh! You are the owner? Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Leaf Thornton, your new neighbor. I just bought ownership of the bookstore in front of your restaurant."

"Your meal, sir. Enjoy." the naked waitress said as she placed the plate on the table and left.

While he was talking, he saw the tabby waitress bring his order. Thanking her, he took a bite of the dish and his eyes lit up.

"Hmm... Dallas, would you kindly get us two shot glasses..? I do have something that my grand mothe had given me as well as the letter about our family's history." As she said this she plucked from her blouse, a beaker the size of her fist, on it said "Caribbean Spiced Rum." and held it in her hands tightly then uncorked it on the bar, letting the aroma fill the surrounding area. "Tis a good day when I have me rum near."

The restaurant seemed to be emptying now. Aside from leaf and the gathering at the bar, the only ones in the establishment were the staff. Kathryn walked out of the kitchen and looked around. Drusilla was near the entrance placing a sign in the window that read "Positions Open. Now accepting applications for nude waitresses and kitchen hands."
"I never thanked you for pushing me into this Dru." Kathryn said as she walked up behind the grey-black feline.
"I knew you'd enjoy it." Drusilla said.
"It's slowing down a bit now, I'm going to get dressed and then go home for a bit. I'll see you later." Kathryn said.
"OK. I'm sure I'll be bale to handle things." Dru replied. Kathryn planted a friendly kiss on Dru's cheek and then made her was towards the back of the restaurant.

((Sorry for my extreme, tardiness. Was 'napping but now I'm going to post before I really go to bed.))
*With a gentle grasp she poured the two glasses for Dallas and herself, the spoke in a joyous tone.*
Elizabeth: "To our new life Dallas." *She tipped her glasses and toasted her glass with Dallas and drank swiftly.* "Gram, knew the best. Rum's always good. But especially, for a celebration. Don'cha know."
Elizabeth drank it after she was finishing the soup in front of her, then put away her small, almost empty bottle. It looked to have 3 more shot-glass fulls left. "I know it may be weird I don' mind the different tastes of wine or rum, in the same evening. I've had much more diverse in my school years."

Moments later, the front door was opening, as it signaled the waiters and waitresses of the restaurant of another customer. However, this customer wouldn't be someone they have seen before. Out of the shivering breeze of wind, revealed a young and slim female gray feline who was seem to be barely in her 20s. She calmly walked in as she push her red bangs away from where it was covering her right green eye. She then tucked it carefully under her Victorian touring hat. Afterwards, she gently tugged the ribbon that was stiffly tied in a bow underneath her chin to make sure that it was still attached in its proper place. Like always, she wanted to make sure that contents inside her hat would not suddenly reveal in public. Rosemary then cleared her throat before she spoke her empty enviroment.
"Um, hello? Is anyone there? I would like to eat here please." She then waited patiently while nervously fidgeting with her long dress at the same time... |
