The third page is up. Edelweiss asked for a favor to Simon, that was a bold move.Make a deal with mister Blue is like making a deal with the devil. He doesn't do charity, he always wants something in return. For some reason, I fell that she could have asked someone else. Also, I wonder why she bother to ask Simon that this child fall under his care. An arrested person can't keep a child. She's obviously rich. Acquire a orphan once it fall in an orphanage is a play child. Does Betty Goldblum has still some other relatives alive?

Edelweis is more taller than Simon, but in this page you can't notice it well, the central pannel is in a perspective too high to note the difference, you will see it better in the future pages.

I admit that the 1880 Simon Blue looked really handsome, I like more the 1895 Simone Blue because he's so adorable. I want to pick him up and hug him like a favorite stuff animal! ^w^

In page 2, Issue 9, is the year in panel 1 suppose to be 1895, or the year, 1885, suppose to be there?

yes i thinck it's surpose to be 1895.

because that meeting between eledwies and simon should of been 15 years ago not 5 years ago as lidia said in page two it say's 1885 but in page three it say's 1880.

In the year 1880 Edelweiss meets Betty in the street, takes her to the Delight Castle and learns how her evil uncle treated her... I can't tell you what the little one had to suffer, but you can use your imagination.
Thus Edelweiss asks Simon a favor.
Edelweiss hasn't been banished yet, so we see that when Betty meets Mary, in the year 1885 (Page 22, issue #2, Betty is 13 years old so in 1880 she was , Edel is still queen. In page 1 of issue #3 we see that Betty is slightly older (she was about 16 years old) when Edelweiss disappears, therefore for a few years nothing happenned and Mary and Betty kept meeting in secret. And when Red gets to the Delight Castle for the first time Edelweiss isn't there anymore and Betty has become Princess Betty (1, page 5 of issue #6.
"That day" something happenned. Betty didn't see Mary anymore until Red took care of restoring the situation by means of the letter exchange, at least two years later when Betty is 18 years old. Mary is just 3 years younger than Betty, as you can see in the bios, and was 15 years old when she got engaged to Red.
In the year 1880, then... Simon did ALREADY have Mary, because if Betty was 8 years old, little Mary was 5.
I suggest you to read again also pages 5 and 6 of issue #4

I amaze as how Ms. Vanessa can draw actual facial expression for all her characters and successfully accomplish that.
