I fully back the need for these rules to be clarified.
It'll save people asking the same questions all the time. _________________

The laws in Bon Bon are technically a confidentiality contract between the visitors and residents of the town since many people ranging from local thieves to notorious villains (*Cough* Randy *Cough*) and up can live in some relative prosperity. The rules exist to keep the peace in some way and under no circumstances be ever broken, which is punishable by exile. Its one of the reasons why lady Edelweiss has left (I believe it has something to do with Simon's coercion). _________________

What we are trying to determine here is just what exactly the remainder of the laws are. People are asking what is allowed as a character for the forums, the subject of breeding in BonBon has recently been brought up. In the interest of improving the role-playing on this forum and preventing the same questions from being asked all the time and confusion, we would like to know what these rules are.
We know what the first law of BonBon is... what are the rest? _________________

Well, there are the laws of Bon Bon, which are the laws set by Simon Blue, of which the first is about the privacy of the residents.
Then there are the laws set by Vanessa for the PBB world. Like our world's laws of physics, the PBB world has some laws as well.
For example the one mentioned about no supernatural beings:
http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=44346
Then there's the one about different species not being able to reproduce unless they are closely related:
http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=53968
These rules are for appearances in the comic, I believe. I don't know if it would be possible to get an avatar drawn that's a supernatural species, or some impossible hybrid, as long as it doesn't get to appear in the comic. That's for Vanessa to decide.
Of course, for roleplaying purposes, you are free to create the characters you want. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

I copped a lot of flak for my original avatar and as far as I know, most people understand that the rule of no mythical creatures applies to the forums as well. This is what we are trying to clarify. _________________

There are multiple RPs in the forum with supernatural elements. I've been part of one of them. There are those including hybrids as well. I've never seen anyone speak against any of them. I know that around the time when you arrived, you were incorrectly told to post your RP fursona in the avatar request thread, of which it did not belong, since it didn't follow the rules set forth by Vanessa. Other than that I'm not sure I've seen any of this you talk of. I don't visit the RP section much, so that might be why I don't see these comments. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

If I may be so bold, the issue with characters like Silvador's original fursona is not as to whether or not they go against the rules so much as whether or not they would be against the law. Pokemon and dragonball have copyrights associated with them, which means that unauthorized use can result in legal and financial backlash. As to what exactly constitutes that is for most of us unclear, but most of us would feel more comfortable avoiding the risk.
The myths and folklore surrounding many of the mythical creatures we are mainly discussing are so shrouded in mystery that it would be impossible for anyone to have any legal claim to their use. |

Nobody ever mentioned copyright laws to me as a reason for not using that fursona. All I was told, basically "It's not a real animal, it's not allowed.". _________________

I think you mean insight. Incite is a verb. Sorry bit of a spelling freak here. _________________ My Fursona(updates occasionally) http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7537
