Those without a face

Now, without offending those in the intensive burn ward who's faces are wrapped, this is a thread I told Cassandre I'd make for those without an avatar or face yet. ^_^

I know Johnny and a few others have made threads to welcome the new members, this one is more for me. I'm here at least once every 2 weeks/10 days/bloody fort night, what have you, so my memory and reading times are limited at best. There are members I recognize the names of, but not the species behind them, as its either not brought up enough, or they don't RP much in the other non-rp threads to drive it into my thick skull.

So Cassandre is a panther, as I just recently read from the "why did you choose your species" thread by GotN. But there are plenty I've interacted with that I have no idea about. Marx, what were you? for example.


True, I can keep going back to fish up the details in your avatar descriptions, but what I'm seeking here is some interaction. You've said what your character is, can you prove it? Play the part? Act like this character you've created, or is it more your uncertain or don't know how?


Um...as you can see, my thoughts are wondering and this thread isn't too concrete, as I will ramble without enough direction given, and as creator of a thread, there's plenty of leeway to get side tracked.


Oh, and Cassandre. Labrn isn't the biggest fan of toys and bondage. He's more of the "old fashion" lover who uses the natural things he was born with. Its okay to dominate, but the overall personality difference of you wanting to be in control and making it "perfect" would probably clash a bit too much with Labrn who is more "go with the flow" than making everything perfect.

Perhaps someday though.

Hmmm, unless you missed it whilst in the perusal of the GotN thread about why we chose said species and whatnot, my fursona is that of a black tiger with red stripes by the name of Samuel Dunn. Born and raised in ways of an assassin, but also in the ways of sophistication and class. After all, a legitimate face is a powerful weapon.

Coming to BonBon, however, he has had to leave the killing days behind him and arrives at a crossroads. It's the first time he has been in a situation with neither guidance or training. He is pretty much alone for the first time and it's not a feeling he likes.

Possibly because it's how I feel. I know I can't be a kid anymore, but what path can I take towards really being the man I want to be when my past has already done so much to shape who I am?

Perhaps a tad longer than needed, but when I get into it, it's hard to stop.

I'm unsure whether or not you will remember my species, as I have been here for over a year now; however, I did specifically choose my icon here to match the species so it would be easy for people to remember. Also, I'm a huge fan of alliteration. Tadelesh Thalion the tiger. I love that.

As for acting like my character: I'm very rusty when it comes to roleplaying. I used to roleplay as Tadelesh many hours a day (far too many; it was an addiction), but that was a few years ago now. I try to at least act out a line or so every now and then, but usually very briefly. Sometimes I find it hard to draw the line between my actions and his. We would react a little differently in certain situations, and I find it harder here to separate the two than I was able to when I first created him. I think it's the fact that mostly here I talk as myself, whereas back then I was always him when in that environment.

I think I've said more than enough for now.

I chose the arctic wolf for Meng Long for two reasons:1)I was nicknamed Xue Lang or "Snow Wolf" by my first and late sifu or martial arts teacher and felt it would honor his memory and teachings.2)As with the first reason,I was given this nickname because arctic wolves are considered symbols of survival and endurance as they must live in some of the harshest environments and that translated well with me as I've survived and endured things you can't imagine including some things that I won't go into but relate to the DesertWolf handle.

As far as being a former bodyguard it goes toward the fact I am one in RL and I've stayed at the Shaolin Temple before but because I'm a foreigner I can't be recognized as an actual monk.And using both worked as monks were used as bodyguards during this time period.

I won't participate him into RPGs yet as I'm currently working on his background story and I would find it odd to be in a place when he hasn't gotten there yet.

Meh. Its pretty much the same. I'll go top, I'll go bottom, whatever. I do not like bondage though. Very uncomfortable when you're drowning in post-coital bliss when suddenly your partner is holding up a bunch of cords/ropes and asking for another go.
