Would you truly need straps to keep anyone in your bed, Fraulein Doktor? I find that doubtful. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Finally found a descent example of how I imagine Xeb's voice, thanks to Kommy in another thread.

It's the second "ancient", the blue one called Ulyaoth. Just add a little bit of a british accent. _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |

This isn't so bad an example. Two things though. First, I've listened to her so much on Scrubs, that I'm not sure I can really associate her voice with someoone else. Second, I'm not sure if she may sound a bit too young. Still, it's not bad at all.
I thought of Elizabeth Hurley again, and here's a good example of her voice:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5m7nB_LvNg
How about that? Would this fit?
And that's a good example there Xebulon. I didn't read your entire post that thoroughly before clicking that link, and I first thought you meant the first one, the red one.
But the blue is good. Makes me think a bit of a mix between Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

That sounded like Patrick Stewart. Not sure if it was, but sure sounded like him. Good example though, Xeb; I can see (hear?) that as your voice. Liz Hurley does sound like a good to match for Constance. _________________ Wow, sarcasm! That's original. |

Patrick Stewart. Why didn't I think of that? _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |

I was watching Batman Returns the other day, as it was playing on the TV. I was thinking, what about Michelle Pfeiffer for Chessy or even you Kommy, though I think she might be a bit soft for what you had in mind.
And one of you men should totally be Christopher Walken. _________________ Oh, I'd tell myself

After hours of research (which consisted of web surfing and then accidentally stumbling upon it) I have found the voice for me. Singer Pat Carroll: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyFVG4VfPmg&feature=related
Just throw in a bit of an accent, and it works pretty good. _________________ "Doktor! Are you sure this will work?!" "HAHA! I HAVE NO IDEA!" |

I just wanted a slightly deeper voice than average, as well as refined and smooth. She sings other stuff, you know. This was just what I found first. _________________ "Doktor! Are you sure this will work?!" "HAHA! I HAVE NO IDEA!" |

I'm sorry Johnny but while I do enjoy listening to Morgan Freeman I still feel that the late, great Tony Jay had, and will always have, the best voice for naration ever. _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |

I don't know, I think that works perfect for a scientist. To sing "You poor unfortunate soul" to them as she tries her various experiments involving gene manipulation and high voltage electricity.
As for Labrn, I think I mentioned it waaaay back ago, the voice of Josh Homme. Most will know him as the singer/guitarist from "Queens of the Stone Age." Due to him having a similar voice to mine, though my voice is sometimes higher due to the un-needed emphasis I use when pronouncing words just for the humor of it.
Ah yes. I recall abouts when I first mentioned it. It was eons back when Jillian was still around and talking with us. After the "competition" jokes and innuendos Johnny, Jillian, Kommy, and myself all would back and forth, I recall wanting to make an animation, or at least sketch up an image of us as the band. Jillian on drums, Kommy on base, I'm singing and playing guitar while Johnny's my backup vocals and guitar. And we'd even have a few cameos of Ashton on keyboard and little pahefi with the going around in her chibi form on cowbell for the song "Little Sister." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t86HZ_CIJw&NR=1 _________________ The suspense is killing me. Speaking of the brigand, I imagined you and I would be doing the guitar duel between the devil and "Johnny" that they do for Guitar Hero 3. _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |

Now I have this imagine in my head of Labrn and Kommy preforming the song "Danger! High Voltage" by the Electric Six. _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |

You know, I actually really have trouble imagining a voice for Minsha. Shamon, my male character and usual screen name, is easy: David Hayter, a la Solid Snake. All gravelly and worn, only the hints of an American accent.
For Minsha....well, her voice actress would have to have a convincing Irish accent, and be able to pull off that wondrous mix of borderline psychosis, gleeful mayhem, a convincing rage-that-shakes-the-heavens, yet at the same time be snarky, and be able to portray a soft side of her. Gabrielle Anwar, who plays Fiona in Burn Notice, is the closest thing I know of. |
