I have returned from my trip back to the iron-age and I've brougth pictures.
I had so much fun there. I was the chief's wife (the one in blue) and mother of three.
We made a show for the schoolclass visiting us. All the village men had been away in war and our female shaman had a vision of them returning. So we all went down to the bogg to sacrifice to Nertus, the goddess of fertilaty, to bing our men home.
Soon after the men came down the hill on the other side of the bogg.

Is that what the hut house look like in picture four?

Picture 4 is inside the hut in the back of picture 2. The hut was called The Chief's Hut, so it was my hut together with my "husband" and our "daugthers" and servants. Here is what it looked like.
The hut in picture 3 was the drying hut. It was used to dry the clay objects that was going to be burned.
The floor in the huts was made out of stamped clay, so we slept on the benches in picture 9. The woodbenches were covered with hay and on top of the hay were sheepskins. It was actually very nice to sleep on.

Reminds me of Labrn when he was with that combat club. Dressed in tunics and armor and fighting one another. I don't mind the setting, but I'd like it with a dark, magic twist.
