William has gotten this far without tearing his trousers off, pretty impressive. He MIGHT be able to convince her he's gay... unless she sees that bit of film starring him and Violet. Ooopsie...

Just gotta say I LOVE the latest strip.
They're both overwhelmed by innocense in thier own right, but the way it's depicted is breathtakingly gorgeous.
Great job Vanessa I'm looking forward to your next piece of the puzzle that is BonBon!

I love the new page. As already said, Mary's expression throughout (and especially in panel 4) is adorable, and I love the artwork in its entirety. I like how William's hands begin to sweat when she gets closer.

I'm with Tadelesh and Symphony on page 8. I swear at this rate it looks like Mary's cuteness will just kill William. It's good to see Mary warm up to him, even if in my opinion she doesn't quite grasp his 'Situation' yet. But that's for Vanessa to answer in the coming panels 
I agree that Mary's expressions are priceless in this one. For some reason I always get a kick out of seeing those blushes of flustered embarrassment. Then we progress into the next panel of Mary demonstrating the power of her beauty. And then finally, Mary get's up close and personal with a mischievous glint in her eyes on par with "I'm gonna eat you up!".
Can't wait for the next page, it only gets better. Vanessa is quite the story-teller. Keep it up m'lady!
If I may be so bold to delve into precognition, I can only imagine the jittery footwork in the last panel indicate a situation is coming of which if Simon walked in... Well... William's Gay act will be the least of his problems. |

I think she doesn't care whether he's gay or not. She's been cooped up, and William is the first gentleman besides her father who's called her pretty. That's enough to drive a woman regardless the dilemma of the man.

Though, before we get fully on topic. *Hangs her head and slowly makes her way back to Johnny* I think, perhaps, we got on the wrong foot there with the way that scene ended. Labrn told me that you were quite upset in the threads I have yet to respond to, and my first thoughts of coarse were "Oh no, not Johnny." I was hoping your wily side would get the best of you and you might follow me against my statement. Using the excuse that "a gentleman helps clean the mess he makes." But it looks like I misjudged or was a bit too harsh with my reaction.
*Dives into Johnny's chest, wrapping him tight, then looking up with wet eyes in a pout* Please don't stay mad at me Johnny. Your a good friend.
