((Not really. To me, I interpreted the Rovers seem more out to stop the Devas / Deamon wars. The Order is just out to collect books and knowledge. They're more chronicallers who want to live forever. Academics, if you will. Their religion is science.
As for the whole "darkness"... I'm going to take a bit of offense to that. I'm Goth. But I'm not some eye-shadow-ahkn-wearing-aghnsty-whiney-emo. To me, being Goth means you appreciate the stark beauty in nihilism. For example, the sunrise has such a pagentry and welcoming cavalclade that you cannot help but be entranced by the beauty of it. Caroline isn't "dark" or "grim-dark-emo". I was actually basing her garb more off the mage-girls from Vodacce in the 7th Sea stuff.
And, as for her being semi-parasitic... well... I suppose that'll just be a problem for you big, strong, burly, warrior-types  She seems fine with it.)) |
My apologies, I meant no offense. When I said dark, I was referring to her Necromantic magic. So far, we have very little, "light" in this RP. The closest character we have to a Devas, in fact, is my own character who is half Devas and half Daemon. So far, at least a quarter of the characters in this RP are Daemons, and two of those are considerably dark in their slaughtering, butchering and generally maniacal actions.
I, in no way, meant to offend.
As for the Rovers, they pretty much are scholars, from what I understand. They stopped the war between the Daemons and the Devas, then stepped down to nomadic status, roaming and teaching, but remaining vigilant.
As for us big, strong, burly-warrior types, Julius may be strong and a bit of a hard hitter, but that is only his secondary offensive strategy. Julius is a magic wielder and the majority of his strength lies there. My tiger may look the part of a brawler, but that's hardly his true self.

Anyway, my daemon's gonna go daeva in the future... the far flung future of who knows when 2011.

I have therefore taken the initiative and assumed the responsibility of creating and organising the map for the RP. If there are any objections... then we'll just have to discuss them.
