Some overall guidelines for PBB that I know off hand:
-You may request to have a royal avatar made when you reach 6 months of membership.
-No mythical creatures are allowed as fursonas. (Scarlett is a rare exception)
-Reproduction only occurs between 2 closely-related species and only when the female is in heat (Important to consider when making a fursona's parents) |

I think he already answered the question. No mythic creatures, although they can be unusually colored as many characters are less than naturally hued. And the mating part as well to produce children being of animals of the same race. Other than that, I dont think there were many other issues, though I'm forgetful enough not to know if there was anything else. _________________

I do believe that Vanessa expressed that the "no mythical creatures" rule applies to the comic, and not so much the forum. Essentially, you can have whatever you want, as long as it is only going to be used on the forum.
I'm not 100% sure on this though, only about 80%
Same with the breeding rule.
As for rules relating to posting, you can find those here _________________

I'd have to agree with Silv on that. Its simply to make sure everyone follows a certain etiquette around here without being a total jerk to everyone. But yeah, RP however you want, but with your royal avatar, it can't be mythical. Scarlett Blutt is the exception due to her place in the PBB community as the Halloween mascot. _________________

I do believe that Vanessa has said that sharks wouldn't work in Bon Bon, so I assume it means that any species that can't live outside the water, aren't allowed as Royal avatars. It's not something I'm 100% certain on, though. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

Yes, anything really goes in RPs, as long as it's within the general rules of this forum.
Another thing that people should keep in mind when creating their fursonas, if they want them to appear in the comic at least, is what they'd want them to wear. I've seen Vanessa comment on how they can't really appear in certain places clad in armour and wielding weapons. That's just something people might want to keep in mind, if they're hoping to see their avatar in full battle gear at the blackjack table. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio
