If you had read the first post, that I made, properly, in the RP thread, you would have the answer to your question. As you clearly did not, evident by your immediate violation of my rules by posting OOC in the RP thread, you may not join. _________________

It's really not that complicated, Ekrance. I stated clearly that no Out Of Character posts are allowed in the RP thread. I'm sorry. You don't need to be a genius or vastly experiencing in RPing to understand the concept. _________________

We are actors, here, Ekrance. We act. Each RP is a movie/TV show/Broadway Production. When we are on stage, acting, we are 'In Character'. When we are off stage, not acting, we are 'Out of Character'.
By your last response, I have determined that you do understand this concept, and therefore your excuse of not understand what 'Out Of Character' means, is invalid.
This conversation is now ended. _________________

Silvador, I think Out Of Character is an English language idiom, confusion could be understood. _________________ My Fursona |

Out of Character.
It's like being Out of a House.
It's not a difficult concept to understand... unless you're a baby. _________________

((Being as Silvador is being a bit... stubborn on his explanation of OOC, I'll step in before he goes and shoots himself in the foot. Don't say I never do anything for you, Silvador.
Ekrance... notice the "((" I started my post with. Those, for me, identify these comments as Out Of Character, i.e., I'm actually the one saying them. Not my fursona Caroline Wellwater. OOC comments are usually questions about game mechanics, game design, rules and regulations, questions, commentary, that sort of thing. It is a way to separate what your character is thinking / knowing / doing, from what you think / know do.
For example, ever listen to the actor commentary on some movies? The comments the actor is making are "OOC" mean, he is the one making them. Not his character in the movie.
Or a second example. Since you can read everyone elses posts, you'll know what's going on in the grand scheme of things. However, your character will not. If something happens at the bank, and he's at the docks, he won't know about the bank incident, until someone tells him, or he hears about it on the radio.
Hopefully that cleared up your confusion.)) |

And what, pray-tell, is your excuse for ignoring the rules, Kalthas?
Immediately ignoring my rules by asking to join the RP in the RP thread is an instant no.
