| Betty isn't responsible, but will probably feel that way ... So I'm sure she'll take an active "hand" in his recovery. Just as long as Betty doesn't ask Violet to change his bandages he should recover ... Poor Ronald has gone through enough. |

I think that Betty hurting Ronald is something that the princess cannot stop anymore. Even if she does nothing the poor Ronald will feel like he just performed too poorly to meet the expectations of his boss. He will probably not feel well about it. If she tell the truth Ronald will feel even more crushed. Nobody be like a bandage that you put until it stop to bleed to throw it in the garbage. She can lie but how long the web of lie will hold.
If we had to the fact that the doctor Fuchs won't be able to do much about it (He will probably tell him to take rest until it go better. Painkiller at this epoch are reserved for critical case. He will have a huge bruise on the penis, will have difficulty to urinate and will suffer a lot physically while thinking of this missed occasion.). I doubt there are chance to have an unhurt Ronald around Betty but anyway Misery love company. Not being the only one that feel awful in this manor could be the solution. Deal with the whole mess she just started can be really time consuming. This will keep Betty busy until the reality of the Blue manor find a way to catch up.

Maybe it's me but when I reread the whole thing, I find it odd. She is the princess of the Delight Castle. It is normal that she sell herself at high prize and that only the wealthiest customer could afford her but she sound like it is her that make the shopping. It is like be able to paid the prize is not enough you need also to be choose by her. That hardly sound like a standard prostitude.
Also why does she make sound like having sex with employees are so unworthy of her. She has sex with stranger for money. Why having sex with someone you know is so dirty? Didn't she already trangressed her secret lover will all the wealthiest customers she had?

I think the whole concept of keeping working relationships on a professional level comes into play at some point, not to mention all the free sessions she's giving away in her grief. We know she loves money, and we know she's hurt.
I'm sure that she saw giving Ronald this session was a gift for his loyalty - she knew deep down that she was hiding from her own grief, but often it's easiest to forget your grief by helping others, or giving them presents.
Anyway.. not so much that sex with employees is 'unworthy', I think, but it is something that tends to complicate a working relationship. On the other hand, Ronald was so infatuated with her that this relationship was already somewhat complicated anyway.
Maybe she should have taken the heart badge back in the day and got it over with then.
