Just for fun, I've looked at the listed height for the various female royal avatars, to see what kind of list I could make. I've excluded two so far(Mystic and Camarilla), because their description didn't include their height.
Constance 6' 6" (about a head taller than Betty and Violet)
Scorpia 6' 3"
Katrin 6'
Mystic 6'
Rikardo(a) 6'
Jessica 5' 11"
Camarilla 5' 10"
Kiala 5' 10"
Lidia 5' 9"
Caroline 5' 3"
Chessy 5'
Jillian 4' 11" (just under 5')
Catherine 4' 3"
If I hadn't looked at these numbers, I would have made a completely different list. I wouldn't have thought that Jessica and Katrin were taller than Scorpia, and I didn't know that Chessy was so short.
Anyone have any idea where to place Mystic and Camarilla on this?
and how would you have ordered them, if you hadn't seen these numbers for their respective heights?

Well, from what I remember, Mystic is the same height as Labrn... so... whatever height he is, she is as well. If that helps.
And, I always thought Camarilla was on the taller end... like 5' 7" or better.
It is kinda funny that the other not-as-girly character, Jillian, is also on the short side. I guess BonBon has a height requirement for the ladies. Um... yeah, me and my lame humor.
Anyway it is weird to see all the PBB Royals lined up together in like... reference-height fashion. )) |

I've personally always thought of Camarilla as among the taller ones too. Around the same height as Scorpia or Katrin.
Are you sure about Mystic's height? I seem to recall that Labrn is supposed to be like 7' tall, and I've always imagined Mystic as someone of average height.
I find it funny how my own impression of these characters includes how tall I think they are.
If I hadn't looked at the numbers, my list would have looked something like this:
Constance
Scorpia
Camarilla
Katrin
Mystic
Jessica
Lidia
Chessy
Caroline
Jillian
and about the line-up, I'd find it interesting see all the avatar pinups joined into one large image, each one scaled according to their respective height.

Not sure what you mean by not-as-girly, though, Caroline. Constance sounds kinda large and aggressive.
Actually, looking at the list, height *does* seem to roughly correspond to how assertive and willful a given character is. Constance, Scorpia, Mystic, Jessica, and my good self seem to come across as more forward. I suppose the two traits tend to be related in peoples' minds, especially for women.

I've looked at some other characters and how they compare in the comic. I think that Constance is about 6' 6". That's as tall as Ashton. I used his height, because of how he compares to Violet in Issue 6 page 27 of the comic. That's how tall I think Constance is.

Large and aggressive? Somehow that just sounds wrong. 
I think it might have been more of a comment regarding their occupation and outfit. Both of them could be considered tomboys from looking at their pinups in the Four Aces Suite. Jillian does look every bit as feminine and even girly, as most others, in her appearance at the ball.
I'd say Katrin belongs in the same "group", though, if my understanding of what Caroline meant is correct.

It does seem that way. I know it did when I was creating my fursona.
I've found Mystic's height, BTW. She's apparantly 6' tall. This list has really turned out to be very different from what I had imagined.

Top of their heads, I'd say. I don't think that using the tip of their ears is practical with such different species.

I thought she'd be taller than most of the others as well. In fact, I'm actully a little suprisied by how the females are roughly divided into the tall ones at about 6' and taller, and the short ones of around 5'. I've posted a height concersion table below. Looking at it, I would have expected more females of around 5' 5" to 5' 9". I'm used to the metric system, which is why I'm not always sure how tall someone is, if the height is measured in feet and inches. I wonder if the list would have looked much different if people measured their fursonas' height in centimeters instead.

I considered making a similar list for the male Royal avatars, but it would have been a bit too much work. There are quite a lot of them.
I'm not sure how they'd compare in height. A quick glance at some of the descriptions gives me the impression that they average at around 6' 2".

I'll update the list with your new height, and I think I'll set Jillian to be 4' 11".
It's actually a little funny to look at the heights of different Royal avatars. For example, Drake is supposedly only 6' tall, while Dante is 6' 4".
Vanessa had drawn Drake as being very tall, while Dante is short in the comic. That's how I view them too. It just wouldn't look right in my eyes, if Dante was towering over Drake.

Tearlach is 6'1" which would have been quite tall for the time.
How high you grow is of course linked to how much protein and vitamins ect, you get growing up. So the poorer families tended to be smaller in height then the more wealthier ones.
The average height for a gentleman of the time was 5'8" or 5'9" . 2 inches or so below that of today's average. So a woman taller then this at the turn of the century would seem quite " Amazonian".

I think it's safe to assume that the Royal member avatars are generally rather tall. The thread about the height of the males shows how they too are quite tall.
Visually it's a bit difficult to measure them all up next to each other, all by the height given in their fursona description. I think that many of the avatar pinups(and cameos in the comic) give an impression of how tall the character is, and I personally find it difficult to disregard what Vanessa has drawn. Just look at how Drake is very tall, and Dante is short. If you'd instead put those two pinups next to each other, and scale Drake's, so Dante is half a head or so taller, it would simply look weird.

...*rolls my eyes* I dunno, for some reason that caught me as really funny. Like... History of the World: Part 1 funny, where Madeline Khan was selecting which of her Roman Soldiers would join her in the baths.
And, I do find one of the more cuter pictures Vanessa has drawn is where Caroline is helping a customer light his cigar, and the customer is like... 50% taller than Caroline is. Not really sure why, just... that it appeals to me. )) |
