A lot is probably imported but there very well could be a few local brewers/coopers/etc.

I too was thinking for Drake to do something in Bonbon, so he is more then just a pretty face in love with Violet lol. Maybe he can make fine wines along with his story writing which in a couple of days I'm posting a sneak peak at a new story, one that will continue this time on the message board. Also I know I've been out a while but college does that :p. There is going to be a future pleasure bonbon interactive game in the future one i learn more and get permission but right now it's just in my head.

I've been thinking more about my fursona's occupation, and how she could use it in Bon Bon. With the number of musicians and performers among the members here, we should find a sort of opera house or theatre where plays, musicals, operas, ballets and such could be held.

I can imagine such a place being in Bon Bon already, and if not, we could hire Crimson to build it. That is unless the Delight Castle is usually the place where such events take place.

i don't think the delight castle dose those kind of things i would be glad to supply stones for the foundation and the outer walls it will be a master peace
if we can get the lay out right and if crimson agrees.

Anyway, you know what profession I think is lacking? Miner. There's this big diamond mine around run by Mr. Blue, but I don't see a single miner or engineer to run it.

I think that the mines off Blue are in other country or he hid the mine very.
And the workers, I will not be surprised that they will be found and you get very much patients to take care off.

Hmmm, so many good occupations, but for me, nothing expresses a true gentleman than his hand with a sword. Ahh traditions. The name is Legon Octavious, former fencing champion and racing enthusiast. I am currently opening a fencing studio in Bon Bon so if you wish to learn the gentle art of the blade, or simply improve your already formidable talents, I am at your service.

Personally, I don't see why so many folks worry so much about obtaining an occupation in Bon Bon. I'd much prefer the life of a "gentleman of leisure", but since I'm not a wealthy man I've had to take up performing sharp-shooting feats to get by, as well as to keep myself out of trouble... apparently, most folks frown upon bank robbery...

Haha, well one must do what one must. Thanks for leaving what little savings I have in that bank vault. I hear trains on the other hand are far more exciting.

Another possible occupation could be as an athlete in training for the up-coming 1900 Olympic Games in Paris.

well now another sword user in this place it's becoming a sword and gun show almost. me on the other hand would rather use my fists and feet to do my talking and in a sparing mach i bet i would win over some one with a sword

Well I wasn't suggesting robbing a train my good man, just merely suggesting a good ride on the rails might prove adventurous, and maybe a bit profitable if one plays their cards right. *devilish grin*

Now I am not one to scoff the fine art of boxing, but a true gentlemen never dirties his hands in such affairs, far more dignified with a blade at one's side.

you may say that a sword is dignifying but i say not and i don't box its called Muai Thai. it is what we are taught in the country of Siam(Thailand) if you think that my cultural back ground is a disgrace then i will have to prove you wrong. Muai Thai is far from boxing and i will not let my heritage be classed with something so vile.

Well, I'm not quite a "gentleman of leisure", though I did make my money the old fashioned way. I inherited it.

*an oddly serious melancholy glazes over the old geckos normally darting eyes, and his voices takes on the weight of his age*

And... as to how many freelancers, sell swords, adventurers, and mercenaries for hire... being young once, I used to want to be a knight myself. Crashing into the lines of the enemy, seizing glory for the nation... and then I saw what war did in the Crimea, and on the Dark Continent.

Nay, grandfather took up the scalpel to heal. Father, to keep up the family tradition. Me... some of my skeletons say I took it up to atone.

I'm sry about the other post i made here i got kind of mad when you said boxing. i never classify that as anything but a street thug fight. Muai Thai is a lot more complex and dignified than boxing. and its a lot better than killing your opponents witch is what would happen if you were to use a sword if you wold like to see a glimpse of it here is a clip form my favorite moviehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtGE8-T2ufc if you watch this you will under stand why i like it so much.

now there are 5 different styles of Muai Thai the one he is using in the clip is one that involves grappling not my favorite but when fighting over 100 people like this man is doing it comes in very handy

Well, by his family legacy, Leon is born and bred to kill the less than natural; demons, undead, monsters... Considering those are rare in a place like Bon Bon (Not that he isn't ALWAYS on alert and patrol for such things to try and target the town), he's also a young noble who's family is decended from knighthood (You can see just how great in Path of Darkness, Chapter 7).

Now just cause he's born to kill and a noble doesn't mean he's the kind who never got his hands dirty. He's certainly more than happy to do any odd job that requires a lot of phsyical force (The guy can split stone with his feet and fists. I'm sure he'd have no problems carrying extreme loads of lumber or stone around.) He'd most likely be more content helping out at shops than just living the noble's life.

Although it will be awhile before I have need of it, has anyone chosen antique and curio dealer as a profession? Something simple, yet full of potential appeals to me...
