The tired coyote, who's been sitting at the bar and feeling the effects of his alcohol consumption for the night, hears the "thunk" of a dart hitting the dart board. Turning his head and looking bleary-eyed at the vixen, he smirks.

Not bad, he thought to himself, then frowned in deep contemplation as he thought, Wait... has that foxxie always been blue?

He looked down at his half-empty pint-glass, then back up at the fetching blue-furred fox, and smirked. Rising from his seat, he pulled some florins from his pocket and placed them on the bar, pushing his unfinished drink to the side.

"Thatsh enough f'r me tonight, barkeep," Johnny slurred to the bartender, adding, "Once the ladiesh start turning blue, thatsh when it's time to shay 'g'night.'"

Stumbling slightly as he left, Johnny tipped his hat to what he believed to be a very attractive figment of his imagination.

"G'night, Madam Blue-Fairy," he said to Scorpia with a wink, "Pinocchio's going back home."

As he staggered to the door, he reached into his vest pocket and pulled out a dart that had been sitting there for... well, even he wasn't sure how long it had been in there. He tossed it casually over his shoulder as he openned the door, not even bothering to see where it went as he left.

The dart shook slightly against Scorpia's, crowding the first on the bullseye.

[heh, just had to throw that in there ... keep up the fine storytelling, folks!]
