Crimson got up and rubbed the pain out of his eyes. He then took the clover out of his collar and begain to chew it. walking over to the wolf he then pulled out a plum from his pocket. "I'm truely sorry my temper got the beat of me, if you allow I would like to make amends." Taking the chewed up clover out of his mouth and placing it in the palm of his hand, he then took the plum and squezed it pouring its jucies over the clover.
"Old famliy remidy, this may sting alittle but it will stop the bleeding and heal faster than normal." He said as he rubbed the mixture on the wolf mussle. Turning back to the female skunk he said. "The names Crimson and if you allow it I would like to aid you." He looked at her with depressed eyes expecting a negitive answer after what he did.

"Honey... you forgot to add honey to the mix. Makes it stay on the wound longer" Ignoring the sting Conner nodded his thanks, watching Brandon push his cart past Conner felt a sharp pain of longing for the life he used to have, freely traveling from place to place spending more time on the than an any town, sometimes he desperately missed that freedom. Shaking himself from his thoughts he started down the alley calling back over his shoulder, "Lets go" noticing that the other two weren't following Conner paused, warily watching his former opponent in case he tried to pull something else. He appeared to have regained his senses but know one survived long in the merc business by trusting appearances.

Jess giggled to herself at hearing the funny squeaking wheels depart,at least she found it amusing.
She was jogged from her musing by the question of aid,now noticing the makeshift poultice. "Aid with what?" She asked puzzled. "Your free to come get the stink off as well." She said thinking it wise to stick with the adage of keeping ones friends close and ones enemies closer,at least till she decided for sure what his motives and mindset were.
She followed Connor down the streets of Bon Bon,a path clearing as people gripped their noses and groaned. "Not the way I wanted to make first impressions". She muttered to herself with a shrug.

Conner led the way through the streets of Bon Bon, nodding greeting at those he knew and pointing out places of interest on the way. "And up there on the hill is Bon Bon Castle most non residents spend a lot of time up there, the casino is actually decent if you like to gamble. Ah here we are." Conner walked up the steps of a decently sized inn that looked very well taken care of. "It's not that fancy but the owner is a good man, and they have some great food here." He walked inside and did a quick scan of the common room before turning back and holding the door open for Jess.

"Thank god, I dont know about you but i could use a shower." Crimson said with a grin as he walked up to the wolf and lightly slapped him on back. Streaching his wings he felt a painful cramp in his wings. "Damn boyo you did one hell of a job on me with that grapple of your, did learn that yourself or did someone teach you?" he said with a chuckle.

"This guys gonna get himself killed" Conner thought "lets see if i can put him straight" snapping his ears back in mock anger Conner spun around to face Crimson. "Are you stupid, or just careless? You and me just had a fight, you have no idea if I'm some sort of crazy kill everything type fighter, and you know i don't trust you in any sort of way, yet you walk up behind me and slap me on the shoulder. I've seen people get hurt badly for doing that to the wrong person, your lucky I'm not very twitchy anymore." Pausing a few seconds to let it sink in Conner then said "and to answer your question I was taught that move last time i was in India."

Crimson stepped closer to Conner, his face sunk as if he took offence to the insult. His mouth open as if harsh word were to spue out of them but the only thing that came was laughter. "You mercs think your so big and bad that you can intimadate anyone but you dont scare me not does you moves from India. Last time i checked I didn't need blades to defeat my enemys." With that Crimson walked pass the wolf and head for the hotel.
"Twitchy...thats a riot." Crimson laughed

Jess rolled her eyes as the males got into their pissing contest, though Connor did make some good points. Either way she wasn't going to get dragged into the middle of it,so she entered the doorway of the hotel and motioned for someone to help her. She did not want to step inside and have their combined odors interfere with the comfort of the other guests stay.
After she had secured baths for them all,she handed out a small vial of oil to each of them to add to the bath water,and advised they soak for at least an hour. She made arrangements for a clean outfit of hers to be shaken,dry brushed, and ironed to get any wrinkles,dust,or other such things from it; and to be layed out for her once she was done soaking.
She dipped her soft fluffy toesies with just a moment wince from the heat of the water,then ever so slowly lowered herself into the warm and fragrant waters. She let out a long sigh of relaxation,as the waters hugged and soothed her bare and weary form. The water felt so good she began to softly purr to herself,showing the feline part of her heritage (though this was about the only trait she inherited from her great grandma)

Crimson preped himself for the bath, pouring the vial into bath and seting his clothes near the tub. Grabbing one of the plumes that were in his coat pocket he slowly sank into the tub. He groaned as his soar muscles submerged into the water."Boy Brian do you realy want to get yourself killed?" He said to himself taking a bite out of the fruit. "See what losing you temper gets you." Spotting soon to be brusies on his arms. Crimson sat in deep thought, finshing the plum he submerged his entire body. There he sat completly underwater for what he thought was a life time.

Conner grunted to himself as Brandon stalked past, it was pretty much the reaction he had expected but he believed he had gotten his point across, though the insult may have been a little much.

"I'll be in the room next to yours, do let me know when you want to go out." Conner said as he took the vial from Jess sniffing it warily. Then realization hit. His client had given it to him, the only person who he could guarantee wasn't after him and he was still suspicious. "I'm getting to paranoid" Conner thought with a sigh, "bath sounds good though, haven't had one of those in a while, nothing but quick dips in cold stream." Having chosen a room next door to his client Conner checked the wall between their rooms ensuring that it was thin enough so he could hear if there was danger without intruding on her privacy, while also checking for a spot he could smash through in case of danger. Once he had inspected the entire room he finally undressed and got in his bath.
Relaxing he let his mind wander to the conversation earlier. "Your right you know Brandon," He said softly to himself, "half the time its an act, but a necessary one, the best fight is one that never happens. It gets tiring after a while though, in mind and soul"
Sinking into the bath, dark thoughts began to surface. Dark thoughts and darker memories, memories he had spent many years and many a pint trying to forget. "Your not the only one who can kill with out blades my friend, they just make it faster, and cleaner."

Rising out of the tub Crimson grabbed his towel started to dry himself off.
"What am I going to do?" he thought pulling up his pants.Thinking over past events Crimson suddenly slammed his fist into the wall in disgust with himself. Crimson finshed getting dressed and headed out of the room. He walked to the dinner area to grab some food and thats when he realized that his knuckles were bleeding. Looking at the crimson liquid running down his hand, Crimson was flooded with painful and dark memories of a past long forgotten. "I was never fond of that name but I guess it tends to stick." He could hear a distant echo of a bloodthirsty crowd chant the words "Crimson!, Crimson!" reverberating at the back of his mind. Crimson shook the nightmare out of his head and continued to the dinning area. Securing some food for three people he made sure to clean the blood of before touching the plates. He then headed to the wolfs room. Knocking on Conner's door Crimson realized that his hand continued to bleed."Hey merc you hungry."

Jess stirred as she heard the slam of fists against the wall in the room down the hall. She had fallen into a half asleep state of total relaxation, and the loud noise jarred her from it. She got out of the tub and hurriedly toweled off,as the air in the room was considerably colder than the welcoming tub.
She tied the towel about herself and walked into her room,where her fresh dress sat as per requested,cleaned and pressed. It was a simple yet elegant dress of deep forest green velvet, which complimented her emerald green eyes and stood in nice contrast to her deep red hair. The trim was black and made it tough to tell where the trim ended and her part black chest fur started. It went down roughly to her ankles,and had a high split up the middle to allow leg movement and..well..its sexy. She donned a silver necklace with small smooth emeralds, and put on her mid bicep length black velvet gloves. She next put on her red and black striped stockings,which went up almost all the way of her thighs,but stopped just below the edge of the split in her dress,which also stood out in contrast. Last was some calf high black suede boots, with silver tipped high heels. She stood and made sure everything looked ok,and ran her paws over the velvet with soft smile,she really did like the feel of velvet on her fur. Having used some of her special shampoo,but leaving just the tiniest hint of her natural scent, she knew that between that and her stunning outfit she would get the attention and respect she deserved. With a smile she strolled out of her room in time to see the bat knocking on Conors door.

startled by a sudden slam on the wall, Destaven grumbles to himself as two of his glass orbs tumble out of his hands. catching them just before they hit the floor he mutters "how am i suposed to practice my act with all these interuptions?". wandering over to the door he opens it to see what the problem is. spying the small audience in the hall he asks "is there something wrong here?"

Spotting the skunk he turned to face her. "Sorry to be a bother my dear but I thought that you might be hungry so I brought some food." Handing out the a metal try of the finest food that the hotel can provide. "I'ts my way of saying thank you for the vial and may I just say that you look very beautiful. That calico feline will be drooling alover herself once she sees you in that dress." Crimson said giving hint to the skunks same sex atraction. Spotting the gentelman emerging from his room to find out what the comotion was, he stepped between the skunk and the gentelman and said "All is well sir just bringing my comrades some food sorry to bother you." Wispering back the skunk "Dont worry if you want that tept a secret it is safe with me."

Once clean Conner climbed out of the bath and dried himself, pulling on a clean pair of pants he started his evening meditation exercises. Calming himself clearing his mind and sharpening his reflexes. He was almost done when he was startled out of his reverie by a loud pounding on his door. Grabbing his knife he headed to the door until he heard Brandon speak.
"Hey merc you hungry."
Setting down his knife he opened the door saying "depends on what you've got" glancing past Brandon he spotted Jess in her rather stunning outfit "suddenly i feel under dressed. Are we going out?"

"Yesh." Jess replied cutely as she oft did. "I think we should make a grand parade down to the common area and then eat outside al fresco, to give those that held their noses in disdain before a chance to get a better opinion of us." Jess said with an air of authority, giving the bat a tap on the nose with her closed fan playfully.
She gave a nod to the figure that had appeared from then room,not even sure she caught him before he returned to his room.
With that she began to strut down the hallway to lead the procession, giving Connors nose a playful tickle with her tail as she passed.She strolled slowly and regally down the stairs, and gave a seductive swagger across the room and onto the terrace. She smiled softly as she saw the mens jaws hit the floor as she passed, and murred to herself softly as a few women even took notice. She sat down at the table and propped one leg over the other, proudly showing off her favorite stockings and watching the crowd and her dining companions as they passed, nodding to the barmaid to let her know she wanted to order a drink.

After watching the skunk strut down to the common room Crimson turned to look at Connor "What did we get our self's into?" Crimson sighed "You may not trust after what I did, shit who would but I get the feeling that before long you and me are going to brothers in arms and all thanks to that skunk." Crimson said with a smile. "Oh I almost forgot." He said taking out the reaming two plums from his pocket and placing them on the wolfs and skunks trays. "Can't eat without the four basic food groups." He laughed. Taking the three trays he headed off to join the skunk.

The waitress attends to Jess' calling, but not after serving a whiskey with ice on a desk somewhat near the scene. Long, brilliant, thin and skiny green fingers lift the glass.
The newcomer watches the scene with interest and not only Cimson's and Connor's affairs with Jess, but the whole scene. While the soft tender light of the copper 20W bulbs illuminates his soft and shiny skin, dressed in a black silk smokin, the first toad in the city similes.
"Welcome to BonBon" ... "There's not a better place to run away to."

*the badger whistles a cherry tune as he heads back toward his shop when he hears a bit of a commotion from one of the inns he's passing. He notices the skunkette from the other tavern and pauses for a moment before deciding to indulge his curiosity, and steps inside the inn. "Hello again miss. If you'll permit me to say so, you clean up extremely well." he says with another of his lopsided smiles before ordering himself a lager.

Conner sneezed from the tail tickle, shaking his head in amusement at this very rare sort of person. Then he snapped a glare at Crimson "I trust no one" he said before returning to his room to finish getting dressed.

Shrugging his coat over his shoulders Conner descended into the now full common room. While doing his habitual sweep of the room checking everything he started with surprise. "Well I'll be damned, this must be the week of firsts here. First a reverse striped skunk and now a toad, never thought I would see one of those in these mountains." moving on he noticed the badger machinist speaking to Jess and started off in their direction.

"Why thank you kind sir. The name is Jessica Belle". she said introducing herself and thus starting the formation of a social circle,extending a paw in greeting. She longed to have a nice stout, but opted to order something more lady like for now, so she ordered a cognac.
She motioned for her guests to be seated,and also took not of the amphibian, thinking it odd to see one in the dryer climates.

Coming up to the table with the trays of food Crimson saw the badger talking to the skunkette. "Oh friend of yours ma'am?" He said placing the trays on the table. Moving in closer to get a better look at the badger. "Oh your that mechanic around here aren't you? Nice to meet you the names Crimson." He said offering a hand in friendship. Taking a seat next to the skunkette he look at her and said "That wolf you hired is stiff as a board." He laughed. Crimson felt like he was being watched but with his bad eye he couldn't tell where, all he saw was a big green figure off to the right of him.

Strauss (writing stravaganza is tiring ), indeed had approached the scene, feeling curious for the group.
"Good day, gentelmen" - he says uncovering his head, as he bows to the damsel goes on - "m'lady, couldn't avoid to hear your merry little chat, one of the matters that brings me to interrupt you is that you spoke of a mechanic" - As he says this he looks at Crimson with his alien yellow eyes, as big as Conner's fists, then looks with the same curiosity towards the badger. Then he turns his aureal orbits to Jess. the expression is much more intense - "But to be sincere, the fact that triggered my appearance was you. My name is Strauss DaFrog. At your humble service. How shall I call you, madmoiselle?"
His smile is as wide as he is, and if you'd were to look at it carefully, you would see some sort of hidden matice. Of picaresque.
