Reina closed the first suitcase and opened the second one. "There has to be a decent outfit in here somewhere... Huh? What's this?"
Reina pulled out a small brown sack. She shook it and it jingled. "Sounds like coins." She opened the bag and poured it out onto the floor.
"Thirty three... Sixty two... Eighty seven... One hundred... What?! Where did this all come from?" Reina was shocked to find the bag contained so much. She picked up the sack the money came in and a note fell out. Reina picked it up and read it.
Dear Reina,
Me and Elaina scrapped together some money for you to make a new start. Since you are reading this, I know you have found it. Do not fret about us. We were there to help you in your time of need. We thought since you would be leaving America for a new town, you should have something to help you out so you do not wander the streets.
A teardrop fell from Reina's cheek to the note.
We want you to have this money. We have plenty for us to keep us comfortable. We will always love and care for you should you decide to return home. May your parents watch over you. Stay safe, deary.

Reina held the note close to her chest and smiled. Her eyes were still watery.

"Hey Reina would you like to...." Crimson said coming into the room. He saw her standing there with tears in her eyes. He quickly waked over with pure concern plastered on his face.
"Reina are you ok?" He said placing his hand on her shoulder.

Crimson went into his room and grabbed a pair of clothes from his closet and dresser. As he waited for Reina to finish Crimson did some push up and sit ups to get his blood pumping and his mind set for work.
Every push up and sit up he did he cought a glimpse of the necklace Reina gave him and couldn't but smile.

Crimson was in the middle of doing push ups when she walked in. He got up, kissed Reina on the cheek and headed for the shower.

Reina smiled at Crimson as he went for the shower.
Reina went to her room and began getting dressed. Several things went through her head. She had so much money. "I shouldn't spend it all in one day. I'll take a small bit with me."
Reina finished getting dress. She wore a red dress that split from the waist down. Under was a skirt that was white. The dress had no sleeves, but thick straps. The top of the dress rose only to the top of of breast. There was a pink cloth belt around her waist.
She picked up the sack of money and tied it onto the cloth belt. She checked herself in the mirror to see how she looked.

Crimson whistled as Reina was looking in the mirror. He was leaning in the door, a towel wrapped around his waist, water still dripping down his chest.
He drank in her beauty and gave her a wink.

Reina blushed and giggled. She turned around to face Crimson. "This was my grandmother's. She bought it from a traveling salesman. He was probably from here or somewhere close because this almost matches the clothes the other ladies wear."

"Yea I guess your right." Crimson said a little disappointed. He then walked into his room and quickly dried off. He the got dressed into a pair of work clothes and returned to Reina.
"I'll have head out soon. If you need anything I'll just be at the edge of town." Crimson said reluctant to leave her side.

Reina watched Crimson walk off with a smile before she turned and walked the other direction.
Reina was in a very good mood. She had a bright smile on her muzzle. She walked into town, with her mind set on one thing. An enjoyable day.
"I should look around for something for Crimson and Kyle." She quickly spotted a small trinkets booth. "Come one, come all. Rare, unusual treasures for sale. Very cheap, too!" A young squirrel in his late 20's stood by the booth shouting.
Reina walked over to the booth and began looking. "Do you see anything that strikes your fancy, miss?" She looked around at the table.
Some unusual items were on the table, that was for sure. Two things caught her eye quickly. An old rug and a small wooden box. "What is this?" Reina asked pointing at the rug.
"Ah, this is a rug dating back to the 1500's. The artwork in this is unique. Straight from Florence, the design is of the Machiavelli crest. I'm willing to part with it for a mere 30 Florins."
"I have gold coins from America, but no Florins..." Reina said with a disappointed tone.
"Ah, I will trade instead for 20 gold coins then," he smiled.
"Really?! Well, how about the wooden box there?"
"This is a treasure indeed. It has survived since the time of Leonardo Da Vinci. It is a puzzle box. It does not open like a normal box, so it's secrets still remain. None want to break it open in case the treasure inside is something valuable, yet none have solved it. I will part with this for a simple 10 coins."
Reina handed the mysterious merchant 30 coins and thanked him. She went about her way while the merchant continued his sales pitch.
"I should get flowers for Kyle before I stop by..." Reina said heading for the flower shop. She walked in and walked out quickly with a set of lilacs. "I hope he likes these."
Reina walked through the park to Kyle's house and knocked. "Hello? Kyle are you home?"

Reina stepped in side, carrying the three things she brought with.
"Ya, Crimson is off to work for now and he suggested to see you today. To see if you wanted to do something around town."
"Also, I brought some gifts. I found some money in my suitcases and saw some interesting things on a side table. Some young squirrel sold them to me for cheap." She handed him the rug. "He said it had the crest of some family out of... Uh, Florence? I think. The Machiavelli crest if remember correctly. Also, here are some lilacs just for the heck of it."
