Reina awoke early in the morning to find Crimson still asleep. He had a smile on his face. She kissed his forehead and got out of bed making sure not to disturb him.
She went into his kitchen and grabbed an apron, then began digging through cabinets and the fridge for ingredients. After a few, she found everything and got out some pans and began making eggs and pancakes.

Crimson woke to a heavenly scent. He rubbed the tired out of his eyes and headed down stairs. Making sure not to make a sound.
There he saw Reina cooking breakfast in nothing but an apron.
Crimson walked quietly behind Reina and wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his head on her shoulders.
"Good morning beautiful." He whispered.

"Here you go," Reina said setting a plate on the table for him. The silverware, 2 glasses of milk, butter, and syrup were already on the table.
She made her a plate and sat down and smiled at Crimson. "This was the least I could do for you."

"This!" She pulled out a silver link necklace with a charm on it. The charm was a sapphire with golden rings around it to hold it in place.
Reina stood up and looked at Crimson. "This was a special sapphire my father found before he met my mother..." Reina began to tear up. "When they fell in love, he gave it to her as a good luck charm. A symbol of care and protection."
She stuck the necklace around Crimson's neck. "It's supposed to help you stay safe. When my parents passed, it was given to me. I would've worn it, but you can never really trust strangers on a boat."
She ran her fingers down his chest to the end of the necklace. "I want you to wear it for now. So you will be safe," she smiled looking at Crimson. A teardrop ran down her cheek.

"For you, anything." Crimson said and rubbed her cheek with his thumb.
"I have something for you." He said and headed toward his room. He opened the closet and pulled out a small box. He then returned to Reina and opened the box. Inside was a elagant but simple Celtic cross.
"Before the famine took both my parents, my father gave me this necklace. It has been past down from father to son for generation. I was lucky enough to hide it before the nobleman took me in. I want you to have it. A little something of me to keep you company while I'm at work." Crimson said with a smile and placed the necklace around Reina's neck.
