I know I don't come here much, and I know it's to drop by, and complain usually, but you guys are the only ones I can talk openly to about everything. I've been having a really hard time at the minute.
Okay, I've been really struggling with Uni. At christmas, I had a kidney infection that got pretty severe, and through me out of commission for a while, and i missed my big assessment. Fortunately, I got an opportunity to retake. Then, recently, just before my retake, I was hit by a car, and now my back is pretty bad. Because I'm a Uni student above the age of 18, I have to pay for physio, but it's something i just can't afford. I would need at least 3 £20 sessions, plus the examination for £15. It's stressful, but as i can't afford it, I have to deal with the pain. Because of that, I missed my retake. That means, I'll have to take the assessments again next year, and I'll probably have to pay to retake them.
On top of that, one of my family members has run out on us, and gone to live with our father, leaving my mother with money problems, and she is demanding rent i can't pay because my uni haven't given me all the money they should have. I owe her £350 because Uni is screwing me around.
Now, at the doctors, I've been struggling with my periods for 4-5 months, and they are bumping me around doctors, nurses, and other medical advisors, because they have 'procedures', when I know for a fact i could have skipped two appointments. They are testing me for Uterine Fibroids, because I'm showing all the symptoms for it, and they need to take blood tests for anemia because I have bled so much. So now, i have another bunch of medication to buy.
On top of that, my relationship just recently ended. We still like each other, but we can't be together because he is hindu, and his brother has recently come out as gay, and it's massively important to his father that his family name gets carried on. He had to break up with me to get the pressure off his brother, as his father is no longer talking to him, and this makes family life easier. It can't be helped. We are still close, but it is still really hard.
I'm just struggling with everything. It all kinda' hit me at once, and everyone is just throwing on the pressure. I'm really worried about my back at the minute because it has been a week or two, and it hasn't healed, but with my crafts, i just get about enough money in to eat, i cant afford the treatment i need. I'll just have to wait.
it's just a lot to deal with, and i feel really helpless. so many people have helped me out, and i am so grateful and i wish i could repay them, but when im struggling to even pay for food, i just cant ><
I'm sorry for ranting, and not being here in so long. I hope you lot are all okay and doing well.

Holy crap! Life has just gone and taken a huge dump on you, lately, hasn't it. :<
Why is it that the people who sit on their arse and do nothing get all the good shit and the people who fight tooth and nail to get through each day of their life continue to get shat on.
God, what I would give for a blank cheque...

A blank cheque is essentially a cheque with the amount left blank, typically indicating an unlimited amount authorised. It allows you to put in your own amount... any amount you desire.
Such a thing would be of great benefit to me cos then I'd be able to help all my friends. ^-^ Yeah, I know it sounds like a cheesy reason, but I'm that kinda guy.

it's getting too hard. i feel so helpless. i cant even help my mum out of her problems, let alone my own. >< I barely eat atm anymore anyway. I just don't see the point. I've tried and tried, and everything keeps going wrong

Don't look ahead. Don't focus on the distant. Keep your mind on the here and now. Deal with each day and when it is over, sleep; rest. Then, when you wake, deal with the new day's problems. Just take each day as it comes and you will be fine.
Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves.

im trying, but mum is pestering me everyday for money i cant give her. im pretty much almost out of painkillers for my back, and i cant afford any medication. I'm literally going to have to wait to get sick enough to be hospitalized before i can do anything. I wish Uni would just pay me, but they are messing me around.

Well, i may have to hold off on my studies. I've been having some tests, and although the doctors diagnosed me with uterine fibroids, i've now been referred to a gyno, because they think it may be worse. And im losing a lot of time at uni going to checkups and stuff.
And my dad, i havent seen him in over 10 years since he left us.

How much longer is the school going to hold off on what they owe? That just blows because places like that are quick to take money, but giving it back takes ages longer.

Student finance also have a say in it. They are just saying that people signing up for next years finance is causing delays with the system. and im like. 'They need the money next year, i need the money now. You need to prioritize.'

Yeah, prioritze... Why would they do that? That would make sense and be convenient. How then would they screw up peoples' lives?

Something doesn't seem right about that. I would keep an eye on that and keep pestering them about it, they owe you money and thus they are obligated to pay.

Well, now the problem is, they are going to fight not to pay me because i havent been in for a week and a half, because i've been sick, and been to the doctors a lot. but i have to the notes to verify my absence. I just have to get in to give them,
