| As a animal planet nerd I like to look up facts about the worlds animals. I can say to your question that there I unforntually no species dubbed the black panther,but the name is most commonly referring to a leopard that is all black. There are other big cats that the color is a mutation but that's it. |

I've heard of pink panther, but only as a cartoon character I used to watch as a kid that came on on occasion.
