"Look Leaf, women Like a man who's forward. The more annoyingly shy he is, the less they want to be around him as he stumbles over himself. Just talk up to her and tell her you want to spend some more time with her. Go to a restaurant, the park at sunset, something nice."

Leaf's brow was furrowed as he reflected on Abigail's words. He thought for a few moments before nodding.

"You're right... I got to take a chance. Worst that can happen is she'll say no, right?"

"Yeah, but do you really think that she'd say no?"

"I'm just unsure, Abigail... She's been friends with Link longer than I have, so there's a chance she likes him instead."

"Yes... It makes no sense just to think about it until it's too late."

He took another sip of water before flashing a smirk of his own.

"So, is there someone that you care a lot about?"

Abigail sighed and closed her eyes smiling.

Leaf smiled at Abigail warmly.

"Well as long as he makes you happy, he's good in my books. I certainly hope to meet him someday."

"An elephant? Wait... Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing him from time to time in my shop. I was worried he'd get stuck in the doorway. Tell you what... I'll give the two of you a discount for any future purchases."

"Really? Well, that's awfully kind of you."

Abigail looked at her plate and then to Leaf. "I think we're done here."

He looked down at his own plate, having only a few small pieces of pasta left.

"Oh! I didn't realize how long we talked. Don't worry about the meal, it's on me."

He pulled out his wallet and placed several florins on the table. He then pulled out his small black book and scribbled down a few numbers. Replacing the book in his coat pocket, he turned to Abigail and said "So, is there any place you wish to go to tonight?"
