|
|
With summer approaching, I've been thinking of what Bon Bon is like during this time of the year.
I think we can eliminate the possiblity of there being a beach near Bon Bon, but how about people bathing in lakes. I'd love to see how Vanessa would design the various outfits the people might be wearing while going for a swim. Assuming, of course, that they are wearing anything at all.
How about a park in Bon Bon where the residents might have fun with various outdorr games and activities? Or just relax in the sun? Can furry characters even get a sun tan?
I'm just wondering how much outdoor activity there is in Bon Bon, aside from the things we've seen in the comic so far (people having sex in the town and its surrounding area), in comparison to what one might see in the real world. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

((Symphony,
I think Bon Bon might have a beach... or at least some sandbars on the edge of river or lake, as cat-Vanessa did post a pin-up of the main characters going to the beach.
I don't know if the furrys could get a tan, but you might see some sun-bleaching for those who spend a lot of time out in the sun. OH! Thinking of that, sunbathing during the 1880s - 1900s was called "Heliotropism"... and was actually considered a crime in some places.
My guess is that there would be pleanty of outdoor activities. Horseshoes, track-and-field, gambling on horse-races, fireworks, and carnivals for example. In fact, I would think that carnivals (with jugglers, clowns, acrobats, merry-go-rounds, roller coasters, etc.) would be a huge attraction at Bon Bon. Not to mention that I'd bed Bon Bon has some perfect places for outdoor concerts... which would probably make Sky Fox faint upon hearing Constance sing outdoors.
Anyway, just some quick thoughts.)) |

That's all sound awesome, Ms. Caroline. :3
I think it will be nice to have Summer festival in BonBon. I bet there's a lot of spaces outside of BonBon, for everyone to build or make fun summer activities. :3 |

Perhaps a traveling fair, something along the lines of a "Taste of Bon Bon" or other large outdoor gatherings. And how about those summer outfits? _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |

You know, I just had a random idea pop up in my mind when you said that.
It goes like this:
Ever wondered what Bruce Lee's yellow track suit would look like as a generic victorian male swimwear?
(I could not resist, it sounds amusing.) |

I could see a summer "fashion show" but after looking at "real" Victorian era swimwear ... I think I'd prefer Vanessa to dream up the fashions. Covered from wrist to ankle does not Make for very sexy outfits ... but at least you don't have to worry about over exposure to the sun. As for the bikini fans out there ... sorry; it made it's debut in 1946 By French designer Louis Reard. But that's not to say that we can't take a little creative license and pretend it was invented in Bon Bon first |
