My shop is a pawnshop and a cobbler (or a cordwainer is you prefer. She can both fix or make new shoes). It just have a old stable like a many building of this epoch. Sorry if it wasn't clear the first time I written it.
J'espère que c'est plus clair maintenant.

I found a error on the map... You got Scarlet's castle marked as 45 not 47. _________________ yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. that's why it is called the present.

Stone currently runs a small gun shop/ machine shop on the outskirts of town. It's located on one of the local mountain streams, deep and fast enough to run a water wheel at a decent RPM to operate machine tools. The gun shop itself also doubles as the office and contains most of the fine detail tools. The main area of the shop holds his larger projects, and a recent addition uses poser from the wheel to generate electricity. He does generate enough to sell power to some of the businesses which is how he finances his inventions. He lives in a loft above the shop. While he has plenty of space and a bathroom with hot and cold running water (thanks to an immersion resistance heater) the apartment is somewhat noisy, and his furniture including what is in the shop, is old, dingy, mismatched, and beat-up. _________________ I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy. |

((furrynerd,
So a Kentucky Log Cabin? Keen Is it kinda like a hunting lodge? What about other acrutrements, like banjos or violins or fiddles in your house? Is it a brick or stone chimney? Is the cabin a one-large-room ranch style? Do you have an upstars loft as your bedroom? Any thoughts on things like furniture?)) |

Well i finally designed a description of Medel's place its across the street from The BonBon Inn its a small flat/apartment she rents
In Side is the main room which has a Chaise lounge (that is sky blue with violet floral) a huge comfy couch (same color as the chaise) and a wing back chair (that is gold and blue vertically striped) with a little writing desk in front of it in the corner. the room has three rooms leading off it only the kitchen has no door the washroom has running hot water and a claw foot tub and the bedroom is on the right of the washroom inside her bed room she has a Full sized bed which is adorned with plum colored covers with gold trim a large table that holds the tourist trinkets and lumps of metal that she brought with her (she will have to get more soon...she uses her claws to transform the metal)and a closet that holds simple clothes and some 'toys' _________________ Star Silver

Did you post a comment on your Star Silver's home too, or so far just Medel's?
Is Medel's apartment above a shop, or in an apartment house?)) |

And like Silvador said Star's place is a WIP ....its gonna be imbetween Brandon's and Links's places _________________ Star Silver

Sky, my fox, never had a real home because of his traveling but he likes Bon Bon and wants to stay. After he was out walking from repairing one of Betty's slot machines at the Delight Castle, he came across this little place with a FOR RENT sign hanging on the door. It's a little brick and wood shop on the corner of a road that runs right into the mountains.
Once he moves into it in a couple months after he gets some down payment money he's hoping to make it all nice and pretty (and finish colored, too! ). He plans to open a bussiness called "Icarus' Annex Inc.", named after his crash landing in Bon Bon. It's a nice workshop downstairs with a big garage door so he can make his gliders and work on parts people bring him. Upstairs are two lofts as one part of the building together, connected to each other by a door that either makes one big apartment or two small ones. The larger he uses as his office and drafting station and main living quarters but doesn't use the connected one very much, which can be entered from the back by its own staircase and covered patio so as not to disturb him if he lets someone stay over. It's nice and roomy downstairs and can easily host parties and dances and can go up on the roof and sit under the stars at night, strumming a little guitar, remember songs by ear and it's not uncommon to hear him humming or lightly singing irish folksongs while he works downstairs.
Even better is it's right on the absolute edge of town and he can walk out the back with his glider and hike it up to a field where he can launch it and soar down the valley. So, I'm hoping he can get the lease and move in soon! _________________ The Story of Sky B. Fox

This is a really interesting thread, glad you resurrected it! I'm afraid I actually haven't really even begun to think of Tadelesh's accommodation in Bon Bon. I'll have to think on it and get back to you on that. Good to hear all these ideas, though! _________________ Wow, sarcasm! That's original. |

UPDATE: I just did an updated version of my fursona's Icarus Annex with a little color and more detail, still a way from finishing but you can see where I'm going.

I'v been thinking of perhaps doing some drawings of how Constance lives. Nothing fance like others have done in this thread, but probably just some aerial view of her house and yard. I'd probably incorporate some of the things mentioned by Caroline in this thread, as they are really good, just to give a better idea of how Constance lives. Okay, perhaps the drawing part is a bit unlikely, seeing as I've got no talent at it, but I'd at least like to do some re-writing of the residence section in my fursona description. I think it could use some changes and additions.
and keep all those descriptions of your fursonas' homes coming. It's interesting to read. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

Thank you for the offer, but I'll have to work on re-writing the description first. I'll have to re-read this thread as well, to find all those nice ideas Caroline posted. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

Sorry, but I don't roleplay. While many others are more interested in various of forms of RPs where they can develop their fursona, I'm mainly interested in threads like this one. I think that a lot of ideas can be gained from it, and it has inspired me to do some more work on my fursona description. That's really how I prefer it here. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

so in a way all you do is just debate and talk just so you can inceresse chars bio?? well that seems a tad boring.... alwell i think you should be a mod.... just cuase thats all you do in your free time.... is look around.... one thing i wouldnt mind is if there was just on sub cata for fursonas ONLY and what we doing right now is just fine...like the stuff that dos deal with a char can be talked in that char topic.... i know i am anoying always bringing this up its just the way i am i like stuff being sorted.... _________________ Alvy Harston

((Constance,
You're due way more of the credit for those ideas than I am. You came up with the initial leg-work of the topic on where/how does everyone live in Bon Bon. Not to mention, the background work you did for your character just... well... let my immagination go all sorts of weird places with it.
So... if anyone deserves a spot of praise, it should be you.)) |
