I think it's nice that we now have a section for RPs, but it seems to me that several non-roleplaying threads have been moved there as well. I saw three of my own threads there, and none of them are roleplays.

Silvador is right.
From the beginning, the conversation was on the topic you choose, Symphony, and when a post use an example base out of the topic, other post join in as well.
I know is not a RP, but, I guess, Mr. Ronald read the post further and see some scenario post going on, so that's why is in the RP Forum.
And Chaos, even if Mr. Ronald puts Symphony post back here, some people will either continue the RP or the topic thread will be push to the next page. |

None of them have evolved into RPs. I would have asked people to stop if something like that was happening. It's my fursona thread, the one about how our fursonas live, and the one about which other avatar we'd pick for a sex scene with our fursonas.

RP threads and RP related threads; profiles, fursona discussions, i image the town map thread will end up there as well before too long as it will no doubt be used for referencing with RP threads, assuming it actually kicks off
that's what i believe anyway.

That's not necessarily true. Not everyone who creates a fursona uses it to roleplay. I've used mine more in the discussion threads and in my story.
A lot of things can be considered RP related if fursonas are. Quite a lot of the threads related to furry topics are also related to people's fursonas.
I think that it would be a lot easier if only RP threads and their support threads are in that section.

well the expansion has only just happened, i image there is likely still some sorting out as to exactly what will go where, some threads may get moved back, so may not, who knows.

I moved everything that was "RP" related.
Threads that are the "actual" RP.
Threads that are "support" for RPs.
Threads that are your fursonas are considered support for RPs.
The PleasureBonBon.com Discussions forum - I prefer to have things related more to the BonBon members area content. Comics, Main Storyline, Games, Technical Support, Problems, Suggestions.
Most of the RP stuff are "members/fans" generated content. It's mostly extra stuff that members and fans can go to for hanging out in the PleasureBonBon community.

Would it perhaps be possible to only have copies of fursona threads in the RP section?
Reason being that fursona descriptions are just as RP-related as they are comic related. After all, without a fursona we can't have a custom avatar made.
I will concede that the Avatar Request thread is a good place to find fursona descriptions, however there is usually a significant difference between a person's initial description and what they post in the request. |

How about a PBB chit chat forum, for all those who like to chat. It can also be for all the personal threads that are in this section, like people leaving, returning etc. etc. I wouldn't mind seeing a regular PBB section that's all about Vanessa's work and anthro artwork in general. Right now it's a mix of everything.

I'm trying to get used to this new way the forum is organized. I'm not much of a roleplayer, but I might end up spending a lot of time in that section, since many of my favourite threads belong there.
This has also made me consider the possiblities for making more threads. I imagine how it might be possible to create a thread in this section, to get some general views and opinions on a PBB/furry topic, and then create another thread in the RP section, where people can give their fursonas' views on the things brought up in the first thread. That might work.

Does that mean you'll stop responding to the threads about our fursonas? Like the ones about sex? 
Those belong in the RP section now.

Well, those who want "custom avatar made" that eventually appears in the comics at Vanessa's discretion (no promises of this anywhere on our site)- needs to post in the official avatar request list thread that's stickied at the top of the PleasureBonBon General Discusion.
Those who make separate threads of their fursonas is just that. A separate thread that you can modify and have people comment on it. Vanessa will not have time to comb through the forum for fursona descriptions that is not in the official request list that I will be posting "clear" approvals.

Why would anyone think less of you for roleplaying? I don't roleplay, but I have no problem with people who like to do so, unless they do it in one of my threads.

My general rule of thumb is usually only to judge how a person RPs, not the fact that they do. Everyone has their own style and, for the most part, there is no wrong way to do it. I think I've seen enough of a good side to you to never really think less, and I'm always glad to see a usual humorous aside here and there. |

That statement is somwhat true shadow some of us are very skilled making stories lines so we can turn 360 degrees in rps from the hopeless romantic to a shy stuttering new guy in town to a fighter so you really cant tell some people based on there rps and if you can its extremly difficult to do so.

Well, now that we've opened a dialogue on RPing, let's talk about an aspect of it that I'm sure has garnered alot of negative views about the community.
When two people are typing out an erotic scene and both are the same gender, is it gay? The detractors use a much more "vulgar" term, but I'm sure we're all on the same page.
The answer is complicated. Yes and/or No. It depends on what's going through both peoples heads. Sexuality should be approached from an adult perspective, not a homophobic, grade-school mentality. For one thing, sexuality is based on ACTUAL sex, not the pretend kind. Anyone who has actually had it will tell you that RPing isn't even close.
The difference between RP sex and the real thing is about the same as the difference between a Colt Python and your finger. I am in no way under the delusion that I'm going to be RPing with only women. Maybe none, ya never know. So does that make me gay? It makes me look gay, that's for sure, but I don't care about that. I envision the narrative when I type, not the person I'm typing to. Afterall, I have no idea who the hell is on the other end, so it's all in my head. Where it belongs.
It comes down to a test of sexual maturity. Can you handle it? I'd like to think I can handle it, taking into account that nobody gets in over their heads and starts getting jealous or stalking me. That's my two cents on the subject. If anyone else has something they like to add, feel free.
