The date for joining the forum is not necessarily the same date that people join the website. Royal Member status is dependant upon the date that one first purchased membership to PBB's main site.

Thanks, and yea, the six month mark is for the possibility of having an avatar drawn by the amazing Miss Santato. the Royal membership, simply means you've been a member for a month in a row, course, I plan on being around a lot longer than that if I can help it.

ah, no wonder i was being confused. before i joined i saw on the sight that the you became a Royal Member after 1 month, then after i joined all i saw was 6 months. thanks for clearing that up for me

Yeah, it can be a bit confusing at times. The members who have recieved an avatar from Vanessa are often referred to as Royal Members or Royals or something like that, and our titles are changed to Royal Member of BonBon. Perhaps it's would simply be more accurate to refer to those who have been paying members for a month as Loyal members instead.
Anyway, congrats on hitting the one month mark, Alain.

Loyal Member seems a bit much for 1month, i mean, the min subscription is 1 month, maybe Loyal would be more fitting for something like 3months? just a thought.

Congrats, dude. Come mid-December, I'll have been a member for a year. For those who are curious, yes, I have been approved for an avatar through an email convo between Ronald and I, but he never posted the approval on the forum (for some reason).
I guess the moral is patience, there's a LONG list of folks waiting for av's. It's best to get comfortable.

No, that's even longer. I'm talking about just getting a custom avatar. Vanessa is VERY busy and can't churn a new one out every month. So for those counting down that six month mark... six is the MINIMUM.

| An in-comic appearance will generally occur only after an avatar is made for the Four Aces Suite. Example would be drof, he has an avatar, but hasn't made an appearance in the comics. Under certain circumsatnces, a person may get the comic appearance before the avatar, i.e. Kommy's billboard. |

ok... let me get this straight.
after 1 month one can read the royal member comics
after 6 months? one can get a custom avatar
and further after that one can appear in the comic
yes? so this custom avatar... forgive me if this is obvious but i prefer to ask a stupid question and know for sure than make an assumption and look like an idiot. just what exactly is this custom avatar you speak of, you mean the image to go over your name here on the forums?
