The Vampire of Bon Bon

Scarlet seems to be a subject of much debate, as mystical creatures are by and large left out of Bon Bon's universe. So, why is Scarlet a vampire?

There are those out there that know the details of this better than I, but I may as well go with what I know/remember hearing on the matter. One, Scarlet is not a full vampire, only half. The other thing is that Scarlet was not originally intended to appear in Bon Bon, from what I recall. It was Vanessa's enjoyment of the character that brought out the addition of the Scarlet comics to the site. So far, Scarlet IS and shall remain the ONLY exception to the mythical creature rule.

As stated, though, this is as much as I either know or recall hearing on the matter, so if some of the more seasoned members would like to elaborate, I welcome them to do so.

The way I understand it is that Scarlet's comic is more of a non-canon comic much like the Zone comic that was just done. As it's not an actual part of the main PBB comic, the mythical creature rule can be bent to the extent that the artist sees fit.

On that note, I wonder if it's possible that this exception may be extended to the RP forum. As the events of the forum do not actually effect the main PBB comic in anyway, as Scarlet's comic does not, I see no reason why we can not be allowed to let our imaginations run a little wild (within reason). Of course, such created characters would be restricted to that forum and not be allowed to apply for such things as cameos on the main PBB comic.

Scarlet's story line is at least somewhat canon, though many of the events that transpire there are separate from the ones of the main comic. Keep in mind during the ball that Foxonian mentions the organ he's playing being donated by Miss Blut.

I believe they are canon and Scarlet the only exception.

My character for example is actually a were, but I believe that part would be omitted for PBB.

To be clear.The organ I am playing was paid for by Ms. Blunt.It was designed and constructed by yours truly(with help from some carpenters,pipe makers and the like).
