True, but there are some who are really good at creating believeable characters. I'm a fan of plain occupations and personality flaws, but I have to admit that I haven't really done any of that with my description here. Not that I'm unhappy at all with my fursona at all. It's just that I really admire those who for example pick body types that aren't the perfect athletic or hour glass types depending on gender, or those who otherwise make sure to add some flaws.

ahhh true true....

I will indeed will need your help when the time comes

Then again, the term "perfect" is a fickle thing. Its one of those "eye of the beholder" things where someone might be perfect to you, while another sees the person as fatally flawed.

Take our characters for example. Labrn and Mystic. In our original story line, not in Bon Bon, but the time period in the Bucky O'Hare universe. Labrn and Mystic were both made "genetically perfect." So in a physical sense for Aldaberrans, we're the height of what they could hope to acheive thanks to genetic engineering. Though, psychologically, neither is perfect, as I'm a bit of a megalomaniac mixed with nymphomaniac. Hardly "perfect" for someone who was suppose to take the throne. *chuckles*

Are you talking about Jenny and her brother?

She is referring to us Henk.

Now, what is the main difference between you and Lucretia? Your an Opera Singer, she's a cabaret singer if I recall.

I don't really know. I haven't got that much of an idea of Lucretia. I chose to have Constance be an opera singer, because it's a profession I consider classy and glamorous, which was a central idea when designing my fursona. I'm not really sure what to say about Lucretia. I probably could say something based on my own personal idea of how a cabaret singer would be in Bon Bon, but I really don't want to risk insulting herisheft by analysing her character in such a way or saying something I shouldn't

Well, forgetting your two's characters. I meant the actual difference between an opera singer and a cabaret singer. I mean, obviously the style of music, but I'm not too familiar with what a Cabaret actually is.

Cabaret in the late 1800's could be summed up as a mixture of comedy, song, dance, and other stage acts in a nightclub or restaraunt setting. The most famous French cabarets during this time period would be Le Chat Noir and Moulin Rouge. Operas, of course, are normally confined only to grand theaters and halls. While both would have elements of theater and possibly dance to them, opera music and musicians would likely focus mostly upon technical aptitude in singing. Cabaret, on the other hand, would appeal to a broader audience and so would a cabaret singer would likely focus mostly upon the spectacle, such as picking popular songs or using elaborate staging.

For ideas of a Victorian Era cabaret may have been like, I suggest renting (what else?) Moulin Rouge! (2001, dir. Baz Luhrmann). Just fair warning, however, as it features brazenly anachronistic music choices...

Oh don't worry Johnny. I had him watch Moulin Rouge with me. I wouldn't let him hang with me otherwise until he did. *Chuckles and nudges Labrn.*

Okay, can we get this back on topic or just let it rest, please? I'm really not interested in seeing this become yet another chat thread.

Aww, is that why we don't see you in some of the other threads Symphony?

Well, if Herisheft shows up, that would help pull this back in place since shes the Cabaret singer.

Well, Symphony...While other female fursona (inclusing the Royal member) are cute, beautiful, and sexy, your fursona is truly majestic. ^w^

In fact, Constance Mayflower would be truly wonderful, singing Christmas Carol on Christmas. Wink

I really don't like to be so strict, but please stop making offtopic posts in this thread. This is one of my most personal threads and one that I care about a lot. I'm really not interested in seeing it get turned into an offtopic conversation, and I think that the least people could do if they post here, is to post on topic, which happens to be my fursona. Smile

((Symphony, one thing that has been ticking my odd curiosity lately is that, what sort of opera's does Constance do? For some reason I just see her doing more classical Italian operas, and even being able to speak / read Italian / Latin because of it.

Have you ever posted what sorts of operas Constance tends to be a part of))

I must say, Symphony. The profile for your fursona is one of the most thorough and detailed I have ever read. All the items you've included here, from her history to her sex life, tell me how you've put a great deal of effort in creating the character. In fact, this may have inspired me to improve on my own fursona.

Thanks, Lidia. I haven't really thought of her as majestic, but I did try to make her appear very mature and elegant. Sort of giving her a look and background of an upper class lady, so I think I see what you mean. Smile

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing her in a Christmas outfit, or singing Christmas Carols. That would be very nice. Smile

This is something I have given some thought, but as I'm not an expert on opera, I haven't really written anything about it. I imagine that Constance knows several different languages, particularly of European countries, from her many years of travelling the world.
I don't know if Italian operas are special in any way, but I do imagine Constance performing in classical operas, where many actor performers would take part as well. I also picture her doing solo performances. I imagine her all alone on a stage, singing perhaps in a more heartfelt and emotional way, that could bring tears to the eyes of everyone in the audience.
