And yes, Silbia was behind this. Read the description first.

Now somebody turn her back to her old self.

BTW: I inspired this in an Pokemon Episode where in the end, Ash got turned into Pikachu.

I find, I never turn the thing on. However, when someone else is watching something, and I come to ask them something, I end up finding myself sitting in front of it.

Do they brainwash us through the "idiot box?" Wassat

Sadly, I find myself agreeing with that.

as Lewis Black said: "The reason we watch tv, is so we don't have to read. We get somebody to read it for us."

Of coarse, he then goes on to say "so that we can sit on the couch and play with ourselves" but thats not always the case. Rolling Eyes

Funny man, that Lewis Black, though a little lewd at times.

If you can forgive him for his langauge, he's a rather good comedian.

On an interesting note, my friend was going over with me the story his history class discovered about the origin of "F*ck You."

Way back when Britain was the major force in the land, having the upper hand with their Long Bowmen; when the French would capture their soldiers, they would remove their middle finger as a security measure incase they rebel. Well..when the French had finally gotten the upper hand on them, they decided since they were in no danger to celebrate and get drunk. Well, the Brits gathered their villagers and raided the French. As they captured French all around, the villagers would show them that they still had their middle fingers (effectively giving them the bird) and would say "Pluck You" as in to "pluck" your bow string and kill the bastard. This over the span of time was reduced to "F*ck You."

Forgive me I dont have dates and locations, for it was a quick story.

I was amazed when I learned the origin of that rather popular insult, myself. This was about a year ago, I think, when I was told. Though you did get one thing incorrect, Labrn. It was'nt "Pluck you!" they would yell, it was "Pluck yew!", after the wood used to make their bows. "Plucking yew" was another way to describe the shooting of their yew bows, due to the plucking of their bowstrings. I may even still have the story in my computer somewhere, if you or anyone else would like to read it.

Ah. Well, he didn't explain what "you/yew" he meant, but thank you for clarifying for me Ashton. One of the things we can always depend on you for. ^_^
