Species: Fox (Vulpes vulpes)

Height: 5 ft. 11 in.
Age: 28
Nationality: German

Appearance: Dark brown fur, roughly the color of chocolate, with white ventral fur and a white tail tip. Eyes and shoulder length hair a darker shade of brown, matching each other perfectly. The hair is normally worn down or in a pony tail. Wears wire rimmed glasses in addition to (relatively) modest clothing, often wearing her long white doctor's coat. Face is sharp featured with an expression of interest and a half smile, as though she is up to something or privy to a joke you're not.

Hair: Silver, softly parted in the center, falls down to the middle of the back, thick, slighty wavy, unbound or braided in any way, no curls or upturns, all same length with the exeption of the front of the hair which falls down the sides of the face just outside of the outside corners of the eyes and down to the jaw then tapers back to the back of the hair which falls over the shoulders and down the back to the full length

Fur: Gray with a white chest and stomach

Tail: Gray with a white tip

Face: Gray with a black nose, no beard or moustache

Ears: Gray exterior, white interior

Height: 6' 6"

Appearance: Gray shoes, pants and tail coat, the same shade as the fur, white shirt, gray vest with silver center line buttons, white puff tie, polished silver pocket watch in the right hand vest pocket, white handkerchief in the left outer breast pocket of the coat, always carries his violin in it's black leather case in the left hand.

Personality: Calm, open minded in all things, wise, never short an opinion or a peice of advice, whether it be to an acquaintance or a stranger, rarely judges, kind, considerate, a sort of "Jack of all trades" when in comes to music and musical instruments, protective of those seeming to be in trouble, more so with friends, women and children, always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it be a literal hand that's needed or just someone to talk to.

Well, since my 6 months is rapidly approaching...(next Sunday actually) I will go ahead and post mine here again, too. Here you go, Vanessa!

Name: Jeff Actarus

Species: Gray Wolf

Eye Color: Blue

Height: 6”5”

Fur: Silver/grey with a white stripe running across the middle of his head

Tail: Long, bushy, and silver with a black tip

Attire: White chef’s jacket, with chef’s hat in one hand, brown kakhi style pants, black shoes, chef’s hat has a Native American style feather coming out of the top. He wears a small, gold medallion around the scruff of his neck/chest hair. Also has a large butchers knife that can often be seen attached to a cooking tool belt around his waste.

Profession/Specialty: Gourmet chef/cook. Specializes in fanciful meats, sweets, and of course passionate flavors of wines.

Nationality: Australian

Personality: Reserved, gentle, but also very passionate and a bit smug/arrogant especially when he’s in his element (the kitchen). Believes that food is the window to a person’s soul and life force and believes that it’s an art form that should only be practiced to perfection and nothing less. In addition to having a love for the creation of comestibles, he’s pretty handy with large knives. Often times when he’s not cooking up a storm in the DC kitchen, he might be out on the casino floor performing a rather interesting talent of throwing knives at bullseyes for guests if there aren’t any striptease shows going on. It’s not uncommon to see guests betting as to how close he can reach the center of a bullseye with a knife point. This helps Betty out financially too especially if customers don’t believe in Jeff’s archery abilities.

...and since I don't want to start a new topic with my character's history in particular, I'll just refer anyone who's interested back to the original Histories topic to Page 3. That's where it is. Unless Vanessa or anyone else is just dying for me to start my own history topic which I doubt.

Member since 19 Nov 2006 (though only on the forum since 6 Feb 2007)

"Tursi", actually Michael Meriwether, is a dark-furred African lion, his main coat is a dark chocolate brown, while his chest fur is a lighter shade, more the color of toffee (to carry the metaphor ). His mane, claws, and tail tuft are a glossy black. His eyes are are dull gold. Although he would normally dress conservatively in this world, if undressed his elbows and knees both have dark tufts of fur attached - testament to some barbary ancestry. His build is relatively heavy - not overweight or extremely muscled, but fit and relatively strong. Occupation: Steamship captain. Although he generally travels the large rivers, he takes his nickname from a love of the dolphins that accompany the ships on ocean voyages.

Hope that's cool. It took some thought to project Tursi back in time for this world, but I think I like the result.

Appearance: always wears black, really flashy and also show a lot of skin. really love fishnets and leahter jackets. i havn't got to draw her with outfits like in this series.

Personality: in my story she is a stipper/hunter. loves to fight and stuff but also at the same time loves to give a good show.

for Nightwolf:
I preferred to put the chef's hat on your avatar's head, instead of his hand, else one couldn't guess that he's a chef from the head's portrait! By the way, could you describe your medallion better?
For Ashton Gray:
the same thing goes for him and his violin, he's playing it instead of simply holding it in a hand, so one can see even just by the head's portrait that he's a musicist!
For Xebulon:
in the tattoo, is the moon turned right like this "(" or the other way like this ")"? Is it okay if he holds the hatchet in his hand? In my opinion, this way he'd get a more brilliant and less static posture.
For Greycat:
Do you have a detail of the emblem on the jacket that you can send me?"

Hey Vanessa. You asked me to describe my character's medallion in more detail. More than happy to.

I kind of think of it as a Native American symbol, basically with an engraving of a howling wolf in the center. It can be relatively simple, but spiritual enough. It's hand crafted in gold and is attached to a green/turquoise colored necklace, so to speak. I'll shoot you an email about this and just let me know if you want anymore details about it.

Name: Xebulon (Zeb-bew-lon) Burke

Species: Bear (half brown, half Kodiak)

Age: 37 (If I remember, the current year in the story is 1895, right?)

Height: 6 '4"

Weight: 264 lbs. While not overly fat, he does have something of a pot-belly. He is a bear after all, they're bulky creatures.

Coloration: Fur-brown, hair-black (short, unruly), eyes-dark brown, facial hair-black, large mostache (think The Lorax by Dr. Seuss)

Personality: Xebulon is one of those people who are blessed (or cursed, depending on who you ask) with boundless optimism and an open mind. With an excellent sense of humor and a hearty, sometimes raucous, laugh he is among the first to appreciate a joke (especially a good pun). When excited, he sometimes forgets his own strength (sending someone sprawling with a clap on the back, for example). Quick to forgive, he'd rather settle a dispute with reason (and a pint, heck, he'll even buy) than through violence. He has been known to impose himself into loud or potentialy violent confilcts as a mediator. His love of beautiful women, good drink and fine cigars is matched only by his passion for writing. The latter can, and has on occasion, lead to the exclusion of the former three. His temperament is generally closer to that of a teddy bear than to his Grizzly cousins.

Attire: A dark green suit coat and trousers, gold waistcoat and bow-tie, a white shirt and brown leather shoes. Both the coat and waistcoat are double-breasted with gold buttons inlaid with onyx (same for his cufflinks), and he usually wears the coat open. He wears braces (suspenders) under his waistcoat rather than a belt (belts are a faux-pas with a waistcoat), either black or brown. He keeps a pocket watch (silver with silver chain) in the front pocket of his waistcoat. He wears a monocle over his left eye. When he wears a hat, it is most often a brown bowler. The only jewelry he wears is his class ring (right hand, ring finger) which is gold set with an emerald.

Vanessa, I just saw the Work In Progress Sneak Peak of my fursona which you have been kind enough to create and I must say I'm delighted! Though I am very sorry to say that there is one thing I must correct you on, I'm afraid you've misspelled my name . You spelled it "Ashton Grey" when the correct spelling of it is "Ashton Gray", you switched the "a" in "Gray" with an "e", I'm afraid. Even if this is something that cannot be corrected, I thought you might like to know. I apologize if this causes you any undue stress or despair. I don't bear you any ill will of any sort for this, I just needed to point it out. After all, a name can be a very important thing in life.
