A Battle of Wills. (Wolf Stride)

It's a fairly clear day in the market district of Bon Bon, there is plenty of excitement as the citizens go around checking the various stalls.

A raccoon is arguing with a snobby rat before she storms off in a huff her paws are clenched into fists and her tail is swinging from side to side angrily, she is lucky the path is fairly clear because she isn't watching where she is going.

The air is filled with chatter and talk amongst the patrons of the Marketplace, the entire district filled with people of all shapes and sizes, their interests varied while they move from stall to stall. A wolf is looking around with a light expression, the crowds thinning and thickening at will. In one particular ebb of the furry tide, the man clad in gray and silver walked with a bag and book by his side into the open. In his direction was a stall, the cubicles filled with fruits of a myriad of colors.

"I'll have two Apples, Three Pineapples and a Dozen carrots."

The raccoon kept storming through the crowd mumbling under her breath, the sound of her heels hitting the ground echoed slightly around her.

As she kept her pace up she didn't notice the figure clad in gray and silver and ran straight into him, a loud grunt escaped her lips as she connected with him.

"Oof!". A surprised grunt and a loss of balance sent the bag he was shortly given to the ground, an apple sliding out and the man losing his balance. He simply looks to the side a tad startled to see a rather pissed off racoon. "Pardon me...". Spoken like a true gentleman, he simply leans down to pick up his fruits and be on his merry way.

Such a sudden and rude snap. The man rose his head with a look of surprise, the bag of fruit now safely tucked on his arm as he looked foward with a bit on annoyment. "Sorry... but you were the one that bumped into me. Please be more careful.". With that, he returned to looking at the fruits of the stall, pondering on what else wold he need for a dish he had in mind.

Another rude remark. Aren't we a tad snippy today? He simply let out a deep breath and looked at another one of the fruit stalls. "I'll take some Kiwi's and Peaches as well.". It wasn't directed at her, but at the stall salesman. Looks like he was going to ignore her.

Once again, the man looked to his side. He was more than a little annoyed now and rose an eyebrow at the actions of the racoon. "Excuse me, but why exactly do I have to pay attention?". The Salesman only swallowed some, hoping to avoid any trouble as he prepared a small paper bag with the fruits requested.

She was pulling on his jacket and it would strain, maybe even tear with enough pressure. He pulled his arm lightly towards him, using his strentgh to easily make sure she wouldn't use his arm as a toy. "I apologized already. I do believe it isn't very ladylike to crash into someone like you did, then demand that they should've gotten out of the way.". He didn't even look in her direction as he spoke. Someone a little too pissed, messing with someone whom simply didn't give two shits. People now began to stare from a distance, finding this little encounter a little amusing.

Now she was screaming and people began to stare. Murmurs followed in the crowd and the wolf sighed in irritation. He did not bother to respond and simply propped his book out. It took a few flicks down the middle to find a crossed out page, pressumably where he had left off. It was a history book and in silence, he began to read and walk. Walk away from the screaming Racoon and her blind fury, preferably to another stall to find some lamb, or pork. Yes, that sounded wonderful.

The raccoon eyes flared with rage as he pulled out his book and began to walk away, she snarled stomping her foot.

Reaching to the stand she grabbed an apple and threw it at him and missed, grabbed another and missed again, grabbing a third she flung it and smirked when it hit him square between the shoulders.

Seriously, what is with this woman? The wolf stopped right in the spot, taking his eyes off the book and closing it with a light thump of the pages. Two apples missed and one barely touched his shoulders, so he turned around and at the distance he was, his crimson eyes stared at hers without a care in the world. "Oh, I'm sorry. I haven't introduced myself. My name is Wolf Aurelius Stride and you are?". He sounded annoyed, his hands moving foward and a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Looks like she did have SOME form of manners. "A pleasure to meet you Ms. Sinclaire.". He bowed foward as a gentleman should and once he stood up again, he looked foward. "Now, pardon me for asking, but..... what are you doing exactly?". It was hard to tell wether he asked this to mock her or just to be plain rude. Probably both.

He simply continued to walk foward, towards the marketplace without a care in the world, or her apples. Even if she did hit him now, it wouldn't really help her blind and furious case. Even the Stall owner said nothing as she picked up his produce and lobbed it without care and without pay, for fear of incurring the racoony wrath and her ballistic pain.

Jessica's nostrils flared as he kept walking, she quickly fetched some coins from her purse and slammed them so hard on the stall the vendor jumped slightly.

She than began to follow at fast pace being unable to run in heels, she quickly closes the gap between them, as she gets next to him she quickly grabs the book from his hands and stops in front of him her lips curled back as she glared at him.

"Oh? Is that so?". The instant the book clattered on the ground so carelessly.... it made him wince. Her finger jabbing wasn't kindly taken either. "Indulge me. Tell me how fascinating can one spoiled brat can be based on beauty and money. And why would I ask if you are alright?". He felt that this conversation would go nowhere fast. It even looked like a couple bickering, making this all the more funny.

Wolf's face barely moved to the side, her strike being taken like a person trying to punch hewn rock. He didn't even look agitated from being physically struck, so he just stared foward and crossed his arms. "Show me just how interesting you can be then. If you do, I will take back what I said.".
