First Impressions ((Dorian & Pachs))

[Pachs]

Pachs had been working hard for the part few weeks and needed a break so he made his way to a local tavern to spend the night enjoying some drinks and good food. He walked in and looked around looking for a open seat at the bar and made his way to it and sat down.

He ordered some red wine and began to drink slowly. He enjoyed the taste of the wine and took sips of it every so often as he looked at the others at the bar.

Jane who had been enjoying a night of leisure. Had been simply taking the day off. Deciding it was time for her drinking to begin. She walked up to the bar, her long tail swaying behind her. She sat down and with a smile ordered some Vodka. Looking at the elephant beside her she smiled.

"Hey there"

Pachs turned and smiled at her.

Pachs: Hello Ma'am...How are you tonight?

((Would she still be considered a Lombax or something else? Just want to make sure))

(Well... though i don't think that is a actual species.... she can be considered as one I guess.... of course really I only added a tail.)

"I am fine thank you. So tell me why are you here."

She said happily, playing with her hair a little bit. As the bartender put down her drink she picked it up and took a big drink.

((Well not that it matter I was just wondering...It's not like we have to always stick to real species when there are purple raccoons So basically probably a Yellow Lemur))

Pachs: Well I've been working like crazy the past few weeks so I thought I could use a break...So I came here to get some drinks and a nice meal.

He raised a slight eyebrow at how she drank the Vodka but didn't mind sense he would be having at least a half dozen bottles of wine by the end of the night and only be a little drunk.

"Excuse my heavy drinking..... Though I have a high tolerance compared to most."

She said smiling, and taking another drink. Already almost done with the glass.

" I haven't worked the whole day... it's my day off."

She said giggling.

He smiles at her and pours himself another glass of wine.

Pachs: That's OK; I have a vary high tolerance...I have to spend a lot of money if I want to get drunk...But it's not impossible.

He smiles more at her giggle and takes the bottle of Vodka and pours her another glass full.

Pachs: And there is nothing wrong with enjoying yourself.

Her eyebrow popped up interested in hearing the amount of Pach's tolerance.

"Well, you don't have to get drunk. I just drink enough to get the buzz. Then I stop there."

She said taking another drink.

"Amen to that brother"

She said in a happy tone, toasting her glass to Pachs.

He taps the rim of his wine glass with hers.

Pachs: I don't really get drunk; I just drink until I feel relaxed and then I stop...I don't like getting drunk...So would you like to join me for a drink and a meal at one of the tables?

Jane got up from the bench. With a happy smile she looked at him. Waiting for his answer.

He takes her hand and kisses the top of it and smiles at her.

Pachs: I am Pachs Gajah...it's a pleasure to meet you...Where would you like to site? in a booth or maybe a table...

There where plenty of open spaces the tavern was only about half filled and even for a tavern the atmosphere was quite as people talked to each other quietly.

blushing a little she giggled again. Finishing he drink she looked around for a place to sit. Then pointing at a small table over by window she smiled.

"How about that one."

He nodded and lead her over to it and pulled out her seat.

She smiled as she sat down.

"No, I have a bad habit for not knowing when to stop drinking after I have started. Something I wouldn't like to continue. I think I have had enough for tonight..... though that doesn't mean you can't stop."

She said leaning on her arm.

"Though I would like something to eat possibly."

He sites down and there are two menus on the table between them he hands her one and begins to look at the other. He poured another glass of wine with his trunk for himself as he looked at the menu.

Pachs: So what do you do when you do work?

"Oh not much, I just go around town cleaning places....... though it is very boring. I want something interesting to do. My pay is lousy and so on and so forth..... but let's forget about all that."

Looking at the menu she smiled.

"Oh they have pasta my favorite."

Pachs: Oh so you're a maid....So how do you work for?

He looked at the menu and used his trunk to hold the glass of wine and take drinks of it as he looked for what he wanted; but Pasta did look good.

Pachs: That does sound good....Do you eat meat?

She said putting down the menu. Then looking up at him she smiled.

"Well I just do work around the town. I don't work for anyone specifically."

Pachs: Well I mean how have you cleaned house for...If I may ask?

He sets down the menu and takes another drink of wine switching the glass from his trunk back to his hand. even for his size his movements show a lot of grace and dexterity.

She said smiling.

Pachs: It's OK....

The waitress walked up with a note pad and pencil.

Waitress: What would you two like?

Pachs: Well we where both thinking of the Pasta; but I would like mine with Alfredo sauce...

The waitress turned to her waiting to hear what type she would like.

The waitress smiles and walks off to get there order.

Pachs: So as I was saying...How are some of the people you've worked for?

He set down his glass and looked at her.

"Oh you mean by richness... or politeness. Well I don't seem to really care so long as they pay the money.... the amount of pay increases for every room I clean. Which I have be 15 florins a room. Now in mansions I really hit the jackpot, some rooms don't even have a thing in them, but I sweep the floors anyways."

She scratched her ear.

"While for people on politeness. Well if they treat me a certain way... I do good work. If I am treated poorly. Well then they get poor quality cleaning."

Pachs: Well I already have a maid that cleans my home every few days....But I do agree with the concept that politeness is vary important to how both the "Servant" and the "Master" work together.

He said both "Servant & Master" in a soothing tone in case she would get offended at such a thing.

Pachs: But you are correct I do know Dorian...I'm also acquainted with one of his live in maids. "Insert Name Here"

Pachs: Well for me it all depends on what your referring to...When you think of it in a sexual manner then the titles take on a entirely new light.

He took another drink of wine and gave her a small smile as he said this.
