"Oh, no no no, not me. There's someone else!"

"It's not my call."

"But..I don't know how.."

"Listen, I wasn't even supposed to tell you that just yet. Just go down to the Situation Room, they'd like to speak with you."

Casidian nodded as the tiger saluted him. He did the same, and turned down the hall to the stairs. He reached the main hall again, where chaos was still unfolding. He pushed his way down a corridor, where he reached two soldiers guarding a door. They nodded immediately at him, and opened the doors.

Casidian descended a long, dark stairwell. At the bottom, two large doors stood. They opened at his arrival to the landing, sending a wall of light into the stairwell. In this room there was normally one large oval table, where strategies were formed and plans hatched. Now, there was a row of eleven seats against the back wall, looking as if set for judges in one of the city's courthouses.

He was lead in, and situated in the middle of the room, before the empty seats. The room cleared out, and Casidian was alone. He stood at attention, and before long, a door to the side of the chairs swung open.

=Aordaf, the Mugabi Desert=

HexPoint sat on the carcass of his stolen camel reading his necromancy scrolls. Although raised to be an Aordafian daemon mage-knight, he was never satisfied with his eclectic chaos spells. He always thought that the lack of specialization was what kept the daemon at a stalemate with the deva at the borders of Aordaf. When he heard the elder 'mundanes' talk about ancient, forbidden magic that could raise the dead, it changed his view of life. And so he searched and even killed for any information relating to creating and controlling the bodies of the deceased. Traveling with his bandmates, The Liquidators, allowed him to accomplish much on that quest. He was halfway there with the macabre spell, the fifth and final element would be difficult, and could even destroy him in the process. HexPoint grinned at the thought of psychic dismemberment when his carnivorous pet plant had glut himself on the camel's meat.

Hours later, the pink shade on the outer rims of his yellow petaled head became more prominent, and certain leafy parts extended into vines. Snappy uprooted himself from the clay pot and stood on two thorned feet, a thorny tail lashing behind and two clawed branches raking the air before him. Daemon chaos magic had affected this flower and turned it into something more like a small velociraptor from the savage lands of deep dark Aordaf.

"Ahh, Snappy my voracious pet, how do you feel now that you've... grown?"

A ring of large sharp green leaves with pink stems curled outward around his neck, "ZRrrr-rrrSNAP! ZRrrr-snapppurrr...!"

"Very, very good." The daemon caribou put away his necromancy scrolls and took out a single piece of parchment with a crude drawing of his war pet in its three developmental stages, and daemonic writings on the creature. It would now be a long while before Snappy's inherent magical nature caused it to become even more powerful, but the wait, HexPoint knew, would be well worth it. And he was going to help Snappy transform into something more to his liking anyway.

"Come, Snappy. We must hurry to the coast and find our fire-kill. The twilight approaches."

(I haven't been following, so sorry if I screw up on a few things)

Liu Lu was continuing to pace around, many things had happened recently. The Prince's vanishing and other things had caused much unrest. While as well her kingdom was in need of unity. The many battles and scuffles that had been happening where worrying. She needed a strong army, and a strong navy to defend her from the many forces around her. As Liu Lu paced in her throne room. One of the leaders of the nations entered he room.

My lady

He said as he bowed. Though Liu Lu gave him a rather grim look.

Did you ask if you could enter.

He shook his head in reply. While she looked at him with a rather reagal look.

Worry not...... I have a plan. We shall soon rise to the top of this pile. In time...... send out your legions.... find for me any stragglers and wanders. I want them brought to me.

He nodded and left the room. As he did this..... a big grin cracked don Liu Lu's face.

Ventori Chenera

The guards looked at her and pointed their weapons at her.

“Well ma’am either you come with us nicely or we take you by force the high magistrate demands an audience and it is best not to refuse him”

Aline was sorely tempted to resist but she looked around the bar and saw many innocent faces and changed her mind.

“Fine I shall go with you However, your hands will not touch me, just lead the way.”

The men were sorely tempted to ignore her demand but one saw the look in her eye and decided daemon or not she was cooperating so there was no point in being rough with her

”Fine just would you hurry up”

Aline set her drink on the bar then turned and walked swiftly through the door into the street. The guards followed, one of them walking in front of her to lead the way.

The streets seemed to have a brown veil over them. Everything was filthy. Patches of dirt covered the street and children played in dirty clothing. Though they had little, living in this poor part of town, they were happy. As Aline was escorted through the poor district, few paid any attention to her, most too focused on their own problems. But as they reached the richer district where the Magistrate was, the dragon noticed furs stopping, staring and even whispering to one another.

Not letting the suspicion surrounding her form bother her, Aline held her head high and walked proudly. She ignored the well dressed nobles who gossiped and speculated, with their loads of money and nothing to do but count it. The streets there were clean and a myriad of color surrounded Aline as she followed the guards past houses of blue, pink, purple and green.

Soon the guards brought Aline into the magistrate’s chamber which was the largest manor in the city and at the very middle Aline snorted at the thought that this magistrate fancied himself a king. The Magistrate sat on a fancy chair just like a throne and glared at Aline as she approached flanked by the guards.

"What is the meaning of this, Daemon? Why do you intrude upon the territory of the Deavas?"

Aline rolled her eyes at this male

"This is the exact same reason my species is extinct magistrate I am not a daemon I am a dragon"

"HAHAHAHA! A dragon? There haven't been dragons around in hundreds of years. They no longer exist."

The magistrate stands up and takes a few steps towards Aline

"Stop trying to fool, Daemon. Why are you here? Are you searching for intelligence? Do you have forces concealed in this city preparing for an attack? I will not tolerate any threat to this city. Speak up Daemon, or I will have you lashed and locked away."

Aline growled at this young fool he wasn’t even 100 years old

"Fine I’ll prove to you I’m a dragon take me out side into your gardens and I will shape shift to my true form ....unless you’re afraid"

"Outside? Do you think me a fool? So you can escape? Or perhaps this is a rouse to lure me into a trap? No. I think not. If you are not going to tell me why you are here, then I will have you locked up until you decide to loosen that tongue of yours. Take her away."

The magistrate returns to his seat and the guards approach Aline.

"I am nothing more than a traveler from Dragon Scream Mountains. Your dungeon will not hold me, nor any shackles you have. I will escape, and if you do not believe me, your home will be destroyed when I transform… best just to believe me"

The guards continue to approach Aline; with malicious intent shining in their eyes. Aline growled as she stepped back, arching her spine as her dress vanished, leaving her momentarily naked. Soon she started to grow in size her colors shifting; the light silver moving to her softer parts the lavender covering her body her wings grew darker as they got bigger, she was standing on all fours her back pressing to the ceiling of the great hall. Great cracks started to form along the ceiling as she continued to grow, as big as this place was she was bigger and soon large chunks started to fall from above, crashing to the polished wood floor. The magistrate and his guards ran for the outside and safety Aline growled loudly and pushed her way out of the hall to the outdoors before taking wing and flying up high.

“I told you I am a dragon, FOOL!”

Foressan Forest Clearing

"Oh, not much.....just your head on the floor."

The arrow gleamed as red as blood before finally shooting out in a streak of air. The beauty was mtahced by it's deadliness, art in the making. Frost Wolves split off in all directions as Halberds and Partisans were prepared to take strike towards the mysterious figure, when the sudden shriek of terror from one the guards rang out. It wasn't long for someone to have experienced his horrors to recognize someone who's very dark actions were only outshunned by the very fear others held for him.

"Sir, it's Maximillian Strauss!"
"WHAT!? What is a High class Daemon like him doing all the way out here!?"

Forn's voice held strong, but the restlessness within was all, but hard to overlook. His very eyes bulged in their sockets at the very mention of his name as polearms, broad swords and hands stayed back in fear of the vulpid. Finally, blood came to spiral on the dirt once more. The arrow had struck the rightmost guard that was around the princess and as the others made a hasty escape by ordering the own Frost Wolves the wheel away, the man gave one last scream of agony before being envelopped in powerful arcane magics that blasted him from the very core in a ghastly rain of blood and vicera. The Princess herself was startled by these actions, the sight of blood and gore making her thoughts spin.

"JAACK!! We've lost Jaack! Kill that bastard!"
"Oh perfect! FINALLY someone that has balls to stand upto me!"

A large Bloohound of a young age swung around the large Halberd he sported, holding the insignia of the Lunar Empire. The Frost Wolf charged foward in blistering speeds towards the figure, closing the gap in seconds. Once again, light flashed out and two more set of heads rolled around the dirt roads. The rider and riden's very heads, sprawling their contents seconds after their bodies colapsed.

"Oops. This makes 3."
"Damn! Protect the Princess! Ax, Wylfred! With me!"

A battle cry came from the Artic Fox captain, Forn, two more riders lining up behind him in a Rushing formation. Strauss only watched from a distance with obvious amusement, Yami Bow in one hand, Scythe in the other. His red eyes only glowed in the darkness, leaving behind a stagnant feeling of death. The clouds moved, the moon was blanketed and two more screams of horror shot out.

"Ax!? Wylfred!?!?"

The moon finally glowed down upon them once more, showering the battle field with two more bodies, one of a large gekko, the other of a Dire Wolf. Both of the two cut down in four perfect halves, their rides not having been spared either. As a tinge of irony, the bloody bits that followed their comrades on the floor were carved up in the shape of a cross.

"Heheh. Better than nothing, no?"
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
"Captain, look out!"

The princess was feeling nauseous. So much bloodshed before her, powerless to do a thing. Nevertheless, she had seen much, far and wide and knew well that should anything happen, she was to prepare herself and do the best of her abilities to aid others. This was such a time. Her hands glowed a faint blue before pointing out towards the Daemon Fox in a flash.

"Lunar Lightning!"

A large streak of silver shot out from the vicinity of her hands and towards the figure, unmoving. Thiis made the surviving members of the group stiffen with fear, the princess included. Nevertheless, she was sure that this was bound to finish him off, if not, wound him mortally.

"Lightning? Please!"

With a mocking tone, the imposing scythe stood in defense of the demonic creature, another scream of pain shooting out from the last of the remaining guards that remained with Crystal. The centermost one. His body was the target of the lightning strike intended for Maximillian. How could he have deflected such an element with arcane steel was only a show of force of what he could do and as the poor chimpazee torched and fell to the floor a large slab of fur jerky, the smell of burnt flesh and fur alike proceeded to overpower the stench of death.

"KILL HIM! KILL HIM NOW!"

Forn was now angry. His eyes seemed to cast thought after though of his own Halberd piercing the Daemon's chest, ramming him through the spear, trampling his beaten corpse underfoot. What remained of his broken guard now united with the captain to attack the Daemon. Only 3 remained, not counting the princess. The scythe and bow dissapeared from his hands and with the gale of the wind, so did Strauss. Forn was the first to notice and as he tugged on the reigns to his Frost Wolf, he looked foward with hatred and anger in his eyes.

"Where did that bastard go!?"

Now, another scream shot out, this one female. Strauss had used an incredible show of speed to pass through the three toughened guards and reach the princess behind them all, using one large arm that held a scythe to hold her by the scruff of the neck as another imposing arm went down her shirt towards her breasts. It was hardly a time for such a thing, yet to Strauss, it was adding both salt and insult to injuries. Crystal was far too agitated and scared in order to even feel what he had done, for the blade and arm that pressed against her neck made her own blood freeze up. As the scream rang into the heavens above, Forn and the others wheeled back in order to see what they wanted to see the least.

"You vile hearted monster! Leave the princess alone!"
"Oh? And what if I don't?"

In order to go with his bluff, Forn's mount took a daring step foward, but the scythe in his hand flicked ever so lightly a few hairs off her neck.

"Ah, ah, ah! One more step and I lop off her head."
"Grr......You soulless bastard..."
"Forn! Run away! Forget about me and save yourselves!"

The chilvary and good will of the princess was enough to make anyone in the battlefield to see she was one who thought of others before herself. A true Priestess.

"I cannot princess...I made a vow to keep you safe, even at the cost of my life.......The bile in my mouth rises, fox. What are your demands?"
"Oh, not much really....just a gem that's in Foressa."

The anger that had been eating away and Forn had finally made him snap, anger and strentgh making his mount take yet another step foward.

"You tell me you've massacred my men and taken our princess hostage, all because of some pretty gem!? I shall strike you down where you stand!"

Strauss hadn't even bother to reasses his threat with the scythe as he looked foward with an even childish smile. The halberd that the Artic Fox possessed flew foward in a straight arc. Should it have kept going, it would've landed on par between his eyes. Alas, the finished wood and metal was instead sliced once more in another show of impossible speeds and shot back towards the leftmost guard of Forn as the poor Jackal fell down with his throat and heart severed. If anything, it was the most humane death yet, for the poor knight had died a painless death.

"Mickael! Grr.................I have saddening news to you......that jewel that you search....it is a dud, a rumor spun by the Guild......"
"Hmm...I see. Oh well, at the least I can leave with a Runner-Up present."
"Wait, you don't intend to take the princess, do you!?"
"Maybe."

Another firm squeeze came from his hands towards her breasts. The sheer strentgh with which he did was enough to tear it whole from her body as she screamed in pain.

"YOU HEARTLESS BAS-"

One last set of light whizzed out. Forn could no longer take the pain he witnessed this Daemon inflict on their princess and so galloped foward with his saber in hand, prepared to do the very same to Maximillian as he had done with his brothers in arms. A large Falchion in hand and a galloping Frost Wolf beneath, the speed at which he went was enough to close the gap in 2 seconds tops. This was also the time needed to kill down the captain of the Frost Wolves as well. As he charged foward, superficial scythe wounds began covering all his chest, foward and back. A pain unlike any other shot down from the bottom of his gut, to the top of his throat and a few steps away from before the princess and Daemon, his body shut up in a bloody spiral as his armored chainmail had been rent beyond recognition and his body mutilated without hope. The Frost Wolf pounced foward, only to be sliced in another perfect half as well, splitting off in mid flight and flying off as two separate pieces besides Strauss and Crystal, blood having flown towards the two. The battered and broken captain fell down into the ground, spitting blood from his mouth as his body titched unbearably, attempting to muster the strentgh to stand.

"You....you wretched............Daemon."
"Are you still talking?"

A light shove was all that was needed to push the Lunar princess into the floor, caking her dress and face in dirt and vicera alike. The sounds of his boot stepping on the remains of Forn's fallen comrades were like the footfalls of death, as a pair of red eyes looked down upon the Artic Fox.

"With....my dying breath....I curse you and your kind.....to go through the-"
"Oh give it a rest already."

The sickening sounf of metal cutting flesh rang out, the scythe having cleanly cut through Forn's neck brace and the skin below. With another quick swing, the head of the once porud Artic Wolf hand at the tip of his scythe, the pained look it held remaining in it's Death Mask. The last of the Frost Guard, a Tabby, was frozen in fear as he held the Polearm in one hand and the reigns in another.

"You. You have a 5 second head start. You can still make it if you ride for your life."

His words snapped a reaction from the tabby as he screamed in horror, leaving the princess for dead and wheeling around with weapons in tow for fear of his own safety. Just as foretold, he rode down the paved roads as his figure dissapeared into the underbrush.

"3....2....1.....Time's up!"

The Yami Bow was poised for shooting once more, a green tip flashing down and shooting foward. One more scream rang out. The tabby had been hit through the right part of his chest, the arrow itself having piercied tanned hide, chainmail and the many layers of flesh beneath. The stinging pain of poison and steel was unbearable, but the drive of fear was more powerful as he rode into the midnight sky.

"Well, well......that's done, now where is the prince-"

Before his sentence was finished, another streak of silver flashed out from behind. Lightning had struck from behind towards the Fox of unimaginable power in what seemed to be the first time he was hit in this fatal battle. Smoke poured from the back of his cape as the figure slouched foward and behind it, a courageous and beautiful figure lay standing with her hands foward, holding a staff. Where or when had she pulled this staff was an utter mystery, yet from the metallic tip flashed streaks of silvery lightning. It was the conducter for such an attack.

"......You have guts. Not many dare strike me after such an endeavor."
"You murdered my men for no utter reason and you expect to sit idly by and watch!?"

The normally serene attitude of the girl was broken down into a feral one, where one must die and one must live. It was the only line of thought that she could think of. Her eyes glowed in rage and sorrow for the fallen guards. Strauss though, stood upright again and turned around, smoke still coming from the back of his cape and from his face, a smile.

"Alas, I believe so."
"Be purged in holy flames, you wretched scoundrel!"

The same staff she held in hand now shot ot a white flame, befitting priestess of standing such as her. As the ethreal flames reached their mark, they danced above his fur and body, but to no avail. And to make the matter all the more fearful, Strauss walked amongst the flames, almost as if they weren't there at all. Such was his power.

"I-impossible!"
"Not really."

A gloved hand flew foward and the staff was broken in half, the flames vanishing and casting shadow upon shadow on the dirt roads once more. The princess walked backwards in fear, her eyes never averting from the seemingly smiling gaze Strauss had upon her. As she continued to pull back, her luck ended as the rough feeling of tree bark and dew covered her up. Her blood went cold once more. A nother gloved hand had gone foward towards her neck and held her towards the tree, moving her neck side to side as if to inspect her.

"Hmm....You'll fetch a pretty price in the Black Market."
"You fould beast believe you can sell me off as a petty whore to some fur in market!?"
"Nah, maybe you will fetch more as a blood vessel to one of the higher class daemons. Now.....what say you to giving your dying hero a kiss goodbye to Nilfheim?"

His dark deeds knew no end, for at the end of his other hand came the scythe with the head of a familiar Artic Fox at the end. It still wore the same expression, bloodless and pale.

"W-what!?"
"C'mon, give him a kiss!!"

With a devilish smile, the severed head was pushed towards hers, their lips locking in for a slight second as his cold and stale flesh made her stomach turn. In disgust, she pulled away, a mental image and feeling that will scar her for the rest of eternity.

"Oh well, seems like this pretty chick just doesn't really care much for her men."
"H-how can you even say that after what you just made me do!?!?"
"By saying it."

With one last smile, a final scream was drowned out in the night sky, as two bodies took flight once more.

Foressan Outpost
The worn and tired tabby strode foward with what remained of his strentgh. His skin had grown pale and his vision blurred, a sharp pain rising from his chest and envelopping him in a surreal heat. Other guards that were stationed nearby with bows and weapons set them down to rush over in an attempt to aid the Frost Guard, whom quickly fell over at the very second his mount stopped before the mighty garrison.

"What happened!? Where's the Captain and the princess!?!?"

Only one name came from the tabby's mouth before finally succumbing to the darkness.

"Maximillian.......Strauss......................."

The envoys were prepared seconds later.

Xarla was walking down the road. She was nearing a small village. Which was by most means, her next target. The horse she had stole from her uncle had died from being overstressed. Her money spent, and now she was on to another plundering ground. Her sash flowing behind the Jackal. She was smiling, as she heard from the distance another loud scream. Her clothing waved through the small breeze, as the plants wilted as she walked on them. Her whip in hand, her sword in it's sheath. Her two daggers fastened in her boots. Her black eyes scowled the ground, her look as cold as death. Though... possibly it was death.

Walking faster she smelled the sweet smell of food. Nearing the village she began to run, her mouth foaming at the smell. Then getting near a rock, she slowed down and hid behind it and looked down on the village. She saw the many huts and children playing, enjoying and loving each other. Xarla looked at it for a second before drawing away and looking on the other side. Here she saw the banquet hall, but no soldiers. To this she smiled, no resistance. Then with a smile she looked down on the village. Trying to plot how she would toy with them. Perhaps a plague, or maybe.... why waste so much power on commoners. She then making her decision, got up into sight. At which one of the children screamed as they saw her. Pulling her dagger out of her boot, she tossed the knife at the child, and hit him in the head. One of the children ran off to tell one of the adults. Then quickly she bounded down the hill. Killing the other children quickly.

Jumping up onto a vine she climbed up onto the roof of a house. There she hid, and waited, obviously the kids knew who she was. Which meant the strongest men would come to see if she was there. Then as she thought...... they did, and to her delight. They where quickly more occupied with the children much more than finding Xarla. Then counting them there where about... 10. Smiling she figured this was going to be a easy... but fun. Pulling the other dagger out of her boot, she threw it at the biggest male. Hitting him in the head, which caught the other men's attention. Looking up they began to attempt to climb the vine. Though she had already gone around them. Grabbing her two daggers she jumped up and dug it deep into the back of one of the men. She pulled up as she jumped over him onto the roof, and undoing her whip. Cut into another man, kicking a flanking man off the roof. He screamed in pain as he fell to the ground with a thud. Then being hit in the face with a brutal punch she fell off the roof. Though she quickly recovered and landed on her feet. As the other men jumped down, she saw a barrel of oil. With a smile she used her dagger and lit a spark on the oil. Then dumping it onto the ground, she lit the men on fire. As well as the house, but one man was left standing in front. Grabbing him by the throat, she lifted him from the ground. Then with a dark and black smile, she threw him in. Then she raced into the town, and though many people came forth to kill her, she killed them all, Murdering every.. single.. man. Then after the small brawl was over, she made her way into the halls, the homes, killed the children of every widow. Set fire to every home, and looted everything she could carry. Stealing a horse, she loaded him with her spoils and left the village to burn away. As the streets ran red with blood, she took off at a gallop. The fields burned and a large black pillar of smoke raised from the town. Then with a loud cackle she made off, and had a big black smile on her face.

Vailen and the other woke early and headed south. In a matter of days they were passing through the Casda Mountain Range and were nearing the town of Kef when they came across a destroyed caravan. The Rovers and Gypies quickly came to the aid of the caravaners. Thomas helped one young male horse to his feet.

“What happened here?”

The horse shook his head and leaned against his destroyed cart.

“They came out of no where. I’ve heard of them but I always thought they were myths...”

“Hold up there, who came out of nowhere?”

The horse looked at Thomas and sighed.

“Sorry, they were these massive Frost Wolves. I’ve never seen any so big before. They struck quickly and by the time we reorganized they ran off towards Mount Rendar.”

Vailen eye’s went wide after hearing this.

“Tell me... was their eye’s white, almost like they were blind?”

The horse nodded.

“Eldar, I don’t believe it! I thought they all died out.”

Everyone came close after hearing Vailen talking to the horse. A Rover walked up to Vailen and shook his head.

“Thats impossible! The Eldar Frost Wolves are all extinct. The last one died over two hundred years ago.”

Vailen shook his head and looked up toward Mount Rendar. The mountain was the biggest in all of the Empire.

“In ages past the Frost Mountain Range spread too all corners of the Empire. That changed over five hundred year ago. Before then the Eldar roamed as far south where the Terians Wall now stands to Mount Tallos. I’ve heard stories that there might be one pack still alive. Razor’s pack! An old and very powerful Eldar. I believe that is who attacked the caravan.”

Everyone was looking up at Mount Rendar. Many with fear in their eye’s while the rest with simple curiosity.

“He’s up there, somewhere. Thought his territory has shrunk and their numbers dwindled they still have enough to cause trouble. We need to put a stop to this before anyone else gets hurt. I’m planning on going up there and either me and Razor will become brothers or one of us will be dead.”

Crystal couldn’t believe what was happening. Her guards were dead and she was now in the hands of a Daemon and a powerful one at that. Her tears had dried up by now and she calmed down and started to think. A thought came to mind as she looked at her captor. They would have to land first and when they did she hoped what she had planned would work.

****************************************************************************************************

Another Island fell to the Creature. The Roarac Island’s, far off the eastern coast of Aordaf were falling one by one. News had spread to the main Island and the defenders prepared themselves for the coming host.

=Aordaf, the Mugabi Desert=

HexPoint's glowing red eyes grew tired while he flew towards a cloudbank looming far into the horizon beneath the starlight. Snappy's leaves and head petals were receded and tucked in while he slumbered in his master's sling. Gliding through the evening desert air was a very pleasant experience for the blue daemon caribou. Stretching his leathery wings and back muscles, feeling the rush of the wind against his snout, and the sound it made as it whipped behind his antlers when he twisted his legs and dove towards the ground; these were things he enjoyed about flying. But sometimes he dreamt of places he'd never set hoof on...green places.

His wings wavered and sleepily he shook his head, twisitng his body to land softly on a dune below. HexPoint looked up at the stars and read them as he was taught. The time prophesied by many religions in the known world had already come. He was patient still, and would soon reach the northeastern coast of Aordaf before the moon entered it's next major phase. The necromancy spell was an exact arcane process HexPoint looked forward to with sadistic glee. But his innate hunger for power was interrupted by the natural landscape around him. From where he stood, the soft contours of the desert sands around him suddenly reminded him of the female body, and many bodies at that. Rubbing his tired eyes, the daemon set his pet down on the ground, held his wings together claw in claw beneath his chin, and sighed deeply.

HexPoint relived the jealousy he felt for his abandoned mates... No, bandmates. A means to an end. He thought of how many women in many places they performed at would approach the very muscular warthog Tuscan after shows. He remembered how Tuscan would joke about playing percussion on several females at once in his bed. HexPoint had been approached twice during those travels by women who were neither daemon nor interested in the dark arts. And whenever he'd made an attempt to actually introduce himself, well, he's still yet to do so. This is why he was so jealous of that fox Katmir and his relationship with the beautiful armadillo Conny. He failed in getting a single word out of his mouth when she, surprisingly, asked if he wanted to say something. Katmir appeared between them and that's all HexPoint cares to think about concerning not only how the band got together, but why now he stood fuming in jealousy at how easy it was for the fox to steal her away. How happy they've been together since... how close.

He inhaled the cool air and looked around for a feature besides the dunes. What he really wished for at the moment was company... No, a sacrifice... No, just someone other than his sleeping war pet Snappy. HexPoint felt the familiar pain in his blue furred chest well up. He sighed loudly and let the emotions come out in a single gruttural cry.

"No! Furries are stupid! Conversations kill! Chaos reigns! Daemon is King! Entropy!", he shouted at the empty space about him. He pricked up his ears as if expecting an answer, but there was nothing but the winds upon the shifting sands. Sleepily he hallucinated, seeing Conny's naked body turn on her side in her bed where the desert actually was. HexPoint snorted, then yawned, taking a small spell skull from his belt and throwing it pathetically into the air. A stream of fire blasted from its marked face for a few seconds before it hit the ground as dead as it's former host.

HexPoint snorted and yawned again, not bothering to retrieve it. He cast his small mage-knight tent spell and went to sleep within the magical construct of Mugabi sand. Once again, his dream began with murderous rage, and ends with him frolicking through a dense forest as a feral buck. In his dream, he did not question his state of being... he enjoyed the memory of reindeer games, and slept rather well.

Liu Lu was so far starting to get bored with this sitting in her palace, often times sitting on her throne paying with some trinket. Of course she was bored out of her skull, her armies where growing. As well as she had been slowly stealing power from the rest of the states. As he popularity grew steadily, and greatly. Now she had been looking for a Rover, someone to teach her the about a special type of technology. Something she was seeking to bring her to the top and into this war. Now one day she was sitting in her palace, playing with a big shiny Red ball. When her men came running in with a a bag full of books. They came in and dropped it at her feet. Stepping down from her high seat she looked inside.Smiling she grabbed the bag of books, and looked again. Seeing physics, sonic technology, basic mechanics. All the tools she needed for building her empire. Then in a rush she had her armies take watch on all the borders of her lands. Her navy to protect her coasts and port cities. As well as to continue developing her armies. Now then she sulked away into her studies and began to work on the development of her master weapon. Though it would still need... work, it would protect her borders for years to come. Though it could never be used to invade, but it would surely be powerful indeed. So for the next few days she planned it and plotted, preparing for her rise into the world.

Ventori Chenera

Aline lifted effortlessly into the air from the chamber of the Magistrate. Looking down, she saw the damage she had caused. The magistrate was in the garden with his two guards, Aline winged her way over to land on the top of the large gazebo made of stone it was sturdy and held her weight

"Wretched beast!"

The magistrate cried in a frantic failing of arms.

"Look what you have done to my home!"

Aline snorted at his frantic flailing

“You magistrate are not worthy of your position of power, do you believe me now that I am a dragon after your home is destroyed by your idiocy?!
The magistrate scowled at her.

"Alright, so you're a dragon. Now what? What do you want?"

As he spoke, the magistrate signaled to his personal guards who promptly ran off, leaving the Magistrate and the dragon alone in the garden. Aline sighed and watched the guards scurry off rolling her large eyes she glared at the magistrate

"My business is my own! How dare you question one such as I? Be thankful I don't eat you for your arrogance. Perhaps next time someone claims to be a dragon, you will let them prove it."

The Magistrate glared at the winged beast standing atop his gazebo.

"Then why are you still here? You must have some purpose. There haven’t been any dragons around in years. What brings you out now? I'd wager you to be near the last of your kind. You won't last very long if you go around destroying every home you are invited into."

The magistrate's tone changed from anger, to arrogant self importance.

"Assist in the mending of my home, and I may see fit to forgive your actions. I might even consider granting you an official pardon, declaring you not of the Daemons."

As the magistrate took his time talking, about twenty of his guards had gathered outside the garden walls and were beginning to ambush the dragon. Aline sat up taller about to answer the magistrate, when she noticed the guards outside the garden gate. Growling at him she started to take wing, when some arrows tied to rope flew over her garden and above her back embedding themselves in the garden wall behind her

"fool!!"

Aline yelled as she beat her wings pulling at the ropes, yanking up guards causing them to dangle below her. She strained against the ropes causing them to tear the garden wall apart soon she was carrying men and stone into the air with her.

"You should let go before I get much higher"

She said to them as she beat her wings, the magistrate once more began sputtering and failing his arms at the dragon.

"Come back here you monstrous beast! I demand that you repay me for the damage you have caused."

The guards tried to hold on as they were lifted into the air, many of them letting go and falling on the ground without serious injury. But one guard, whether brave of too scared, held tightly to the rope as he was lifted higher and higher. Noticing the guard Aline reached back to scoop him up in her front claws holding him securely but not too tightly she carried him with her the ropes and bricks falling to the ground almost smashing the magistrate

“I won’t pay for your idiocy should have left me alone fool”

Still carrying the guard she ignored the confused cries and even screams of terror from the citizens below, they ran about like little ants as they tried to figure out what happened. Aline twisted her body, as her mighty wings found the wind current, and headed off towards sun that was slowly making its way towards the horizon. Below her, the landscape fled past swiftly. Trees, hills, roads, small houses dotted here and there.

“WHOA WHOA Dear God we are high, hey thanks and all for the save. Though this is like REALLY high alright, HOLY LORD we are high. Just put me down, put me down already. Thanks for the save lady NOW PUT ME DOWN.”

The scared guard stammered and cried, Aline rolled her eyes and looked behind her to see she was far enough away from the city before coming down for a landing. In a clearing of a forest with a stream nearby she landed on her hind legs and set the man to the side before transforming back into her anthro form but she neglected the dress.

Hennel Forest Chenera

“I'm stronger then I look so don’t even think about attacking me”

The guard immediately scurried to the nearest tree and hid behind it trying to get away, eyeing Aline out of both fear and a sudden surge of lust. Aline walked away from him to the stream to wash the street dust off her scales

"D... D... Don't you worry..... I won't attack you.... I'....I'm just glad you finally put me down."

"I hope you’re not going to do that all night we need to get some food and things for a fire pit... I was rudely treated before I could purchase supplies and I’m not going to hunt for you"

The guard just watched. He had no idea what to do. Run? Stay? Logic told him to make a break for it, but he found himself oddly compelled to continue watching her sensually curved form. Aline noticed he still wasn’t moving she growled and stood up turning around to look at him

“well don’t you know how to hunt?”

The guard remained behind the tree.

"What do you want from me? We weren't trained for forest survival. This wasn't in my job description. I'm just a town guard!"

He wailed at her

“Fine gather big rocks and sticks for a camp fire ill get the food”

Aline growled and walked away from him and the clearing into the woods leaving the guard alone in the clearing the sound of her walking was silent and the branches silently slide off her scales as she went hunting. The guard stayed behind the tree for a couple of minutes after Aline left. Gradually, he crept out and started picking up rocks and sticks that were scattered around the clearing. As he had no idea what exactly to do with them, he simply piled them all together in one spot, sticks and rocks mixed together as though they had just been regurgitated by some beast.

Mistress Liu Lu was pacing her study, she had been building the device in advance and thankfully. She had made no mistakes, and was currently on her way to making sure the weapon was well built and didn't have any loose bolts. Or any mistakes to the blueprints she had designed. Walking out of her large palace, her operatives had been working hard. Slowly stealing power back to her centralized position at her capital. Of course her armies where heavily guarding her fronts and she had been recruiting more and more troops as of late. Many found the Tigress to be a rather inspiring character, someone who the people trusted out of desperation. However she was not someone who was truly looking for the country's stabilization. Instead she was more concerned with taking power for herself and making sure she was in control of the nation itself. You see the problem she had observed with a Confederation was that being so loose the many tribes would only causes more and more confusion. Which thus makes the nation itself fall apart. Now Liu Lu being popular was taking more and more power for herself. So as to ensure a unified nation that would break so easily under such pressures. Her lands had been kept safe from evil Daemons, and welcomed Devas. However so far no one of any particular importance had arrived yet whether hostile or friendly. All these things dwelt on Liu Lu's mind, as she rode her steed Fao. On her way to the site with which she was prepared to begin making her stand with.

Hennel Forest Chenera

Aline was hunting when she spotted deer tracks in the fading light, crouching down she followed them on all fours like a feral beast. The branches and sticks sliding past her scales like she wasn’t there, she followed the tracks to another small clearing where the buck was grazing. Reaching her hand up slowly she pointed at the deer and mumbled silently under her breath, the deer fell to the ground dead instantly and she stood up to collect her reward.

Looking at the pile of rocks and twigs he'd made, the guard looked around the clearing he was in. He wasn't sure what he should do next, so he just sat down in front of the mangle of a camp fire and stared at it.

"Great,"

He muttered to himself.

"What am I supposed to do? I'm in the middle of who knows where, being held hostage by a dragon! If I try and escape, she'll probably change again and just eat me."

Staring at the pile in front of him, he began rummaging through the basic training he'd received. He hadn't received any kind of survival training. No one expected a personal guard of the Magistrate to need it.
Aline walked through the trees into the clearing with the Buck thrown over her shoulders she had cleaned and gutted it before carrying it away the smell of the deer’s guts would keep other predators away from their area. However, when she saw the pile of rocks and sticks in the middle of the clearing she growled loudly

“are you serious!?”

The guard stared at her. With the buck slung over her shoulder, he was once more reminded of what she really was.

"I..."

The guard didn't know what to say, he just stood and stared at her. Aline dumped the Buck at his feet and knelt down to fix the fire pit Putting the rocks in a circle and the sticks in a neat crisscross pattern the extra sticks she piled up next to the pit and the extra rocks she tossed into the trees.

“What is your name? Or am I to call you guard guy all night?”

"I, uh... Dern. My name is Dern,"

He replied watching her fix the fire, Aline sighed and looked at him. She then turned to the fire pit and spoke a few words of magic causing the sticks in the fire pit to light up.

“My name is Aline, and just so you know I wouldn’t be feeding you if I wanted to cause you harm...but I can’t let you leave I wouldn’t want you to tell the city guard back home where I am”

She started carving the buck up with skill and created a spit out of sticks and stuck a nice large chunk on it

“Rotate this slowly I’m going to wash up over there”

Dern took hold of the spit and began turning it slowly. As he did so, he watched Aline from the corner of his eye. He couldn't believe such a gorgeous creature could be so deadly. Aline walked to the stream and found a shallow pool, pulling some large rocks up she made it a little deeper so that she was in up to her hips. She then proceeded to wash the deer blood and scent off her scales, she was still able to see Dern out of the corner of her eye. As Dern continued to turn the spit, his gaze gradually focused more and more on the curvy figure of Aline. He could see her slender figure from her hips up and he soon found himself gazing longingly at her breasts. She was so amazingly beautiful that the Linx found it hard to believe that she was any kind of threat.

"What am I doing?"

Dern scolded himself in a hushed tone.

"I need to get out of here, not lust after her... But, that body..."

As he gazed at the bathing, purple beauty, Dern was unaware of the erection in his pants. Aline had gotten the blood off her and turned towards Dern before stepping out of the water, she felt at one with nature and due to a high internal temperature she didn’t need clothing. The darkness had started to fall so Aline created a lantern using the magic that made her clothes, then hung it by the stream so the Linx wouldn’t have difficulty finding the water at night. She then walked back to him to sit across the fire from Dern

“I think it should be finished just pick up the stick the meat is on and stick it in the ground to the side of the fire ill cut chunks off once it’s cool enough for you....the rest of the meat ill put in the coals to cook overnight”

She reached over to the remaining deer and finished dressing it out for jerky

Lights in the large conservatory glowed like the noon-day sun. The musty smell of paper and leather percolated through the Elder's study. The number of tomes and books rivaled those of the Imperial College. As a private collection, it was an epic feat. Seemingly older than time itself, the Elder walked, arm-in-arm, with his favorite. The wolverine-girl Caroline Wellwater had shown him powers and abilities the blind-man had not witnessed in generations. Where others would almost be drained dry from his consumption, Caroline seemed an endless fountain of life. He knew that she was the only one capable of accomplishing this task.

Smiling, the Elder telepathically spoke to his favorite. "My dearest child, you impress an old man yet again. I have not seen a true bone construct in at least three generations."

The wolverine-girl barely nodded her head. "Your praise is most humbling to One."

"Oh, but you deserve it. I know you will be a new beacon for our Order. With the world shifting, the balance of power has broken down. Devas and Deamons openly war with each other, and much of our collected knowledge is threatened to be lost. Rovers cannot be trusted to stay neutral in the conflict. I've born witness to their new-found political machinations. However, you, my dear, will allow us to return to our rightful place as guardians of knowledge. The Order will be the librarians and sages. Our maintenance of the written word will prevent a devolution of civilization and society."

"As you say, your Grace."

"Make haste, child. I do not want some half-wit Rover to find this deamon-spawn first. And I give you permission to take the Lexicon no Malikai from the vaults.

Caroline barely nodded her head, as she uncoiled her arm from the Elder. "As you instruct, your Grace. One will find this half-breed, and return here with it in tow."

Caroline turned and left the Elder's study, her bone guardian in tow. As soon as the doors to the study clicked shut, Malinkov scowled as only a skeleton could. The skeleton's knuckles crackled as his hands balled into fists. His empty eye-sockets glowed purple-red in anger. "I do not like to be considered just a bone construct guardian. I am a revenant. Superior to them in every way. They are mere golems… toys, dolls, puppets, marionettes at best. I am far superior to such hollow things. I am a true skeleton."

Wiping a perfumed handkerchief around her arm, where the Elder touched her, the necromagus replied, "One apologizes, Malinkov, but the deception was necessary. The Order does not permit One to summon a revenant. If One were to think about it, One is certain the Order does not even remember how to summon a revenant, let alone bind one."

The purple-red glow faded. Returning to his position, exactly three steps behind the wolverine necromagus, the revenant asked, "Do you think it will be difficult to find this dragon-kin?"

Not answering, Caroline continued to walk down the brightly lit hallway. She discarded the silk cloth carelessly. Malinkov followed obediently. Candle and lamplight reflected off the ornate polished steel and brass plate armor the skeleton wore. The shield on his back, and the hilt of his blade baring the crest of his Mistress were illuminated from the light. His bleached bone eerily glowed from all the light in the hallway. Only where his jaw was partially missing, and the massive crack in the skeleton's helm seemed to absorb the light and return only shadows. He waited quietly, knowing better than to repeat his question. Even the rattle of his armor and the stretching of the leather belts and straps seemed to hush themselves, to allow his Mistress to think. Malinkov patiently waited for his Mistress to reply to his question.

The silver-capped tip of her agebone staff tapped along the ground as she contemplated the revenant's question. Unlike his steel-booted feet, her silk slippers made subtle, whisking sounds as they made contact with the floor. She stopped, and dabbed a bit of perfume under her muzzle. Putting the bottle back up her sleeve, the necromagus began to walk again. "One does not think so, Malinkov. Dragon's have not been seen in ages, so they are certain to make a scene. We will determine what its powers are, and follow the trail of destruction it leaves in its wake."

"Mistress, if we believe what the Elder says, this dragon is a primordialist. Our necromantic magics and alchemical technologies might have no effect upon it."

"That is of no concern to, One. One will find this wild-kin dragon. Once One finds the dragon, our true experimentation will begin. Though… it will be interesting to catalogue how our science does affect it. One will have to record such findings in the Lexicon." Caroline stopped. She turned her visage, and pointed at Malinkov commanding, "Recite the oath, Malinkov."

The armored revenant bowed in half. "Your desire, is my desire. Your happiness, is my happiness. I live only at your blessing. I live only as long as you desire me to live. I live to serve only your wishes."

"And what does Malinkov desire?"

Still bowed, the revenant replied, "I desire only that which you desire."

Caroline smiled faintly, and rested her palm on the helm of the revenant. "Aid One in finding this half-breed, and you will have your wish. Let the librarian known that One is to have the Lexicon. One will proceed to her apartments for supplies and equipment. Do not make One wait, Malinkov."

Vailen and the others had been climbing up Mt Rendar for a few hours. There destination was a Legion fort. There would no garrison as there was no major military threats in the area. However, all Legion forts, even the abandoned ones, were well stocked with food, clothing, weapons and armor. It was deemed necessary to keep all forts kept up incase Lunar was invaded. Every few months each fort was resupplied. Thus Fort Rendar would be well stocked. There was no fear of the forts being used by bandits due to spells that would keep all trespassers out. Luckily, Vailen knew the counter spells to open the forts up for use.

After a few words the gates opened and they walked in. About twenty minuets later they were sitting around a fire discussing what they should do. One of the Rovers turned to Vailen.

“What do you think we should do?”

Vailen sighed and shook his head.

“I don’t know. If the legends about Razor’s Pack is true then fighting them is out of the question. The Eldar are to strong and extremely intelligent. Any trap we might be able to set up they’ll be able to avoid. We need to come up with a plan to bring him to us.”

One of the Rovers looked at Vailen.

“And then?”

Vailen sighed, crossed his arms and looked up at the sky.

“And then we shall see.”

****************************************************************************************************

Word had spread and several Daemon Magi traveled to the Roarac Islands hopping to destroy whatever was attacking their servants. As they landed they were met by a strange looking creature. Never before had they seen such a thing. The leader of the group stepped forward and called out to the creature.

“Who... what are you? I are the reason for all this trouble.”

The creature started to move towards them. The leader casts a fire spell and hits the creature in the chest. When the smoke cleared only the creatures shirt is burned. Stunned the Daemons fired a variety of spells at the creature. Nothing seemed to work. With a roar one of the Daemons charged. The creature moved with a speed none had ever seen. For the creature had dodged the attack and trusts his hand into the daemons stomach, grabbed his spine and yanked it out through the stomach wound. The leader was horrified at what he saw as the creature moved forward, dropping the other. The others charged, thinking that combined they could take it out. But the leader stood still. For the first time in his life he was afraid...

The leaders eye’s stared up into the sky. All around him was the other Daemons. Each one dead. The creature moved the leaders head a little. There was no movement as the corpses head moved to the side. The creature grunted. This was a waste of its time. It turned back and entered the islands interior to see how its fleet was taking shape.

Casidian immediately dropped to a knee, bowing his head before those he had only heard about. Without a word, the seven Elders entered single file; taking there respective seats. It seemed like an eternity that Casidian waited, his nerves finally calming.

The Elder situated in the middle of the group eyed Casidian closely.

"Rise."

Casidian rose to attention, slowly easing his shoulders.

"Everything you hear today is strictly confidential, and any breach is punishable with immediate death. Do you understand?"

"Yes."

"We've been watching you" the elder seated farthest to the left said. He wearing a green and gold robe, and looked as if he was the oldest of the group.

The elder directly to his left, dressed in purple, nodded in agreement, "You have certainly made a name in this empire. More so than what your father left."

There was a brief silence.

The elder seated farthest to the right spoke up, "This empire is in dire trouble. A blow has been struck, a blow that could possibly bring the bloodshed of many. We cannot simply recover from such a loss, nor can we replace what was taken from us."

"We now have a major weak point. This will soon get out to our enemies, if the assassin returns home. We have had our eye on you for a long time, planning for just such a situation."

One elder noticed Casidian's silence, and said, "You have permission to speak."

"What can I do to help?" Casidian said.

"We cannot simply put you in charge. Such a hasty decision may prove disastrous. You must first prove yourself to us." remarked the elder in green again, "we are sending you to where we believe the order was given."

"Shall I bring my legion?" Casidian asked.

"No. This mission is highly secretive. You will only have one accompaniment, and you will find his...talents.. useful."

"Where will I be going?"

"You will find this information out later. You will meet your partner soon, and be briefed further then. You are dismissed."

=Aordaf; The Northern Borderlands of the Mugabi Desert=

HexPoint flew high above the heat of the desert sands. His pet Snappy enjoyed the rushing wind through his leafy scales in his master's sling.
"Today is the day, Snappy. I need an air or fire kill made to-day. And we both hate to skip a day without a meal, right Snappy?"

"ttttrrrrrSNAPpppurrr!"

A bolt of lightning exploded before them in the air, the thunderclap forcing HexPoint to dive as quickly as possible. He held his war pet close as to shield him, his leathery wings tucked about them in a concentrated manner. Another blast of thunder rumbled behind them before they hit a dune. HexPoint set Snappy loose and flipped through his belt for a particular small spell skull. He found a beaked one and untied it, tracing a finger along a magical inscription on its dome. Tossing it into the air made it so that he was able to see through it's glowing hollows while he laid low.

There were two large daemon, probably hippo, and a mundane each with a war pet taking cover in the next dune. The beaked spell skull hovered, tilting its empty eyes upwards along a tall rock formation. HexPoint caught a glimpse of feathered wings, a trailing scroll, and a bright light. Then startling darkness.

He blinked and rubbed his eyes as near-deafening thunder boomed above him. "Curses! A daeva sniper! The Void only knows what incantations he can sling at us from that scroll!" He looked at the six spell skulls he had left, and they were all illusions save one last acid burst. Then there's the matter of the three fools seemingly trapped as well. HexPoint noted the white outlines of the Moon in the clear sky and scowled.

One of the daemon hippos had his large snout and torso burned black whilst the other greedily looted his belongings. Their war pets, a large scorpion and a miniature cockatrice, fought each other indiscriminately. The brown jackal furre next to them made a secret sign with his hand and it immediately held a fireball aloft. He cried, "Gojira-hu Akbar!!", and the flame became a stream of fire that struck the area where the daeva sniper was for a few moments. Then the magical fire disappeared into hot vapor. "Khalil, go!" The jackal's cactus war pet ran up the dune and let loose two flurries of thorns from its thick branches that apparently hit the sniper as well. The bipedal cacti exploded into several watery pieces in front of its owner. "Khalil, no!"

Blue cloven hooves slammed into the jackal's back for impulse. "Sunspot! And stay down!", shouted HexPoint as his Zhulu shield turned black and seemed to swallow the next magic bolt of lightning. He hurled his spear at the daeva and flapped his wings for a burst of speed.

The sniper, a shimmering clydesdale with gossamer wings, cried "Sunburst!" cutting into the air with his free hand to make the spear disappear into a barrier of bright light. The magic shield blinked, and HexPoint's calloused fist slammed into the daeva's long face with an audible crack. The daemon's Zhulu shield battered the pale horse aside and they quickly stumbled into an awkward one handed grappling match atop the narrow rocky pillar.

"Luz dae: relampago!" chanted the daeva, firing another glimmering spell from his long scroll.

"Es'cudo malefikkati!" cursed the daemon caribou, his shield turning black as pitch to draw in the light.

Suddenly, a feral vulture pecked at HexPoint's antlers, its body crackling with energy. "Aah! A thunderbird!", he exclaimed, a visible punch of heated air knocking the daemon off his feet and over the edge of the rocky pillar. A lash of thorny green vine sprang from where HexPoint had fallen to strike feathers off of the thunderbird.

"ssSNAP-SNAPppurrr!" growled Snappy when he scrambled on top of the rocky platform and bared a thorned maw within its yellow petaled head. He whipped his vine tail around again and hopped, lashing at the electrified bird again. Though struck, the vulture's energy shocked Snappy hard, stunning both war pets for the moment.

The daeva horse checked his pet for a second, then took to the air to finish off the daemon enemy. But HexPoint dove from behind, ramming his antlers into the daeva's back. In the freefall after the impact, HexPoint pushed his shield against the clydesdale's upper body and shoved the acid spell skull into the arm holding the sniper scroll. The spell was cast and the daeva screamed in excruciating pain. HexPoint drew his coral sword and separated the daeva from his wings in three awful swings. The blue daemon spread his own wings to glide slowly after the horrified daeva, who's body broke upon the rocky pillar he had so dutifully guarded.

Landing in a crouch, HexPoint collected his victim's blood into his special flask. He turned to find his war pet feeding on the remains of the thunderbird. He smiled at how much Snappy resembled a small velociraptor from the jungles of Aordaf.

HexPoint controlled his breathing, just now realizing the clydesdale had possibly cracked a rib during their melee. He felt another sharp pain and confirmed it. "One more kill, Snappy. The fire-kill... The fire kill..." he said, watching a daemon hippopotamus run for his life across the desert sands.

After a long and boring trip, during which Liu Lu had been regretting leaving her male consorts behind at the capital city. Mostly because they where great at *buying time* for the Tigress. However she had passed Ping Castle, and was on the secret road to the weapon site.

After many long years of scrounging she had finally been able to obtain the knowledge to finish the weapon. A book stating the primary functions and necessary pieces of a sonic weapon. Now the structure itself was not built by her. Having been found by the original Cao clan leader the ancient weapon had been greatly damaged by some unknown force. What it was could only be described as something far more powerful than even this monolithic weapon could possibly produce.

Now the Cao tribe leader slowly rebuilt the huge weapon, however since it was far more advanced than any spear or arrow that was obtainable in these times. It took many years, and eventually the weapon was forgotten. Though, Liu Lu had found the needed part of the weapon, pulling it out of a sack. She held in her hand the Xing power core. Something one of her many search parties had found, it was the only thing capable of powering the huge weapon.

She herself though did not refer to the thing as a weapon. She knew it was hardly that, it was a huge mega structure battery of rail guns. However she had no idea of what it was capable of doing. Stuffing the core back into the sack, she tied it off at the top and sat it by her side.

Then her carriage came to a halt, and then she stepped out. Looking at the huge site. She smiled and walked in with her escort through the facility. With the bag at her side.

Hennel Forest Chenera

Dern sat across the fire from Aline, tearing at his hunk of meat with his teeth. He tried hard to not seem as though he was watching her and failed. Every time he looked at her, watching her cautiously, he found his eyes trailing down her body to her ample bust through the soft glow of the fire.

"Did your meat cook well?"

Aline asked idly as she cut up the meat, she wasn’t hungry at this moment so she just settled down watching Dern eat.

"When you’re finished we shall call it a night and sleep ...."

Dern just nodded, his eyes stuck somewhere halfway between Aline's chest and her face. Aline could feel his eyes on her skin, she then started to look at him with the eyes of a woman in lust. She noticed that he was enjoying what he saw and decided to comment.

“Oh Dern is there something in the scenery that has you excited?”

Dern almost choked on the piece of meat he was chewing on. Looking about frantically, he stammered.

"Uh, th...the, uh... the trees. I like the trees,"

Dern said, stumbling over himself in an attempt to hide his attraction to her. Aline chuckled and shook her head, she then took a chunk of meat from the spit and started nibbling on it. She would play up his attraction till he couldn’t stand it, letting out a little moan with her first bite.

“Oh this was done well nothing can compare to well cooked deer meat”

Dern forced himself to look away from Aline. It was clear to him that she'd noticed his stares. In the guard's mind, as he stared into the night around them, he continued to ponder his escape. Aline giggled and rolled her eyes she then took the jerky meat and wrapped it up in some thick leaves she had found in the forest and shoved the meat under the coals before laying down on the ground and getting comfortable

“get some sleep Dern we have a long walk a head of us we need to get out of the forest and I’m not letting you go home to tell the magistrate my location, so you must come with me.”

Dern finished eating his meal as she lay down. After a short time, he lay down as well. But he did not go to sleep.

The Lynx lay on the ground, his back to Aline, and pretended to be asleep for a couple of hours. Finally, he rolled over to check on the dragon. Confident that she was asleep, Dern silently stood and crept towards the edge of the small clearing. Glancing back at the purple figure lying on the ground, the guard slipped into the night then picked up the pace.

From the air, he knew they weren't far from the edge of the forest. Flying, the dragon had covered little more than a day's walk worth of land. Dern figured it wouldn’t be too hard to survive on his own for a single day. Hurriedly, the guarded headed through the dark forest in the direction of the city he'd been plucked from.

Aline heard a twig snap at the edge of the clearing and snapped up looking around she saw that Dern was gone, growling she darted after him. He hadn’t gotten that far, and she was able to pick up on his trail of broken twigs and footprints, soon she was right next to him before pouncing on his body.

“And where do you think you’re going Dern?”

She asked slyly pinning him to the ground her body covering his to keep him from thrashing his way out of her grip.

"Argh! Let me go! I promise, I won't tell anyone where you are!" Dern cried as he struggled uselessly to get out of her grip.

Aline smiled down at him pressed her body to his more

“Why are you so afraid of me Dern? I saved your life, I fed you, I even ran around naked for your viewing pleasure ...and yet you want nothing to do with me. If it’s because you still think I’m a daemon then you are a fool, I’m a dragon that got bored with living alone in a cave.”

"I... I'm sorry,"

Dern said, relaxing. With her body pressed against his, the guard was soon sporting a bulg in the front of his pants that Aline could easily feel.

"I'm... I was just... scared."

“let me help you with your fear Dern.”

Aline tilted her head to the side as she pushed her hips against that bulge in his pants, leaning down to kiss the lynx deeply. She let up on his wrists so that he could move his arms freely sliding her legs to the sides of his hips so that she was straddling him.

Dern lay still, stunned by Aline's actions. The erection in his pants grew harder as his breathing grew faster. His mind raced with jumbled thoughts as he struggled with accepting his 'predicament' or continuing to futilely resist.

Aline stood up pulling Dern to his feet before leading him back to the dimly lit clearing, when she got there she wiggled her fingers and mumbled a spell causing a blanket of moss and grass to spring up next to the fire pit. She then pulled Dern down to it, where she proceeded to slowly undress him.

“Dern how many women have you been with in your life?”

She asked nibbling on his lynx ear running her smooth scaled fingers over his furred body.

"Only a couple,"

Dern replied nervously. He'd dated a few girls, but only ever gotten that far with three of them. Aline smiled at him when he was fully naked his manhood standing happy and erect she reached down and touched it gently.

“I have also only been with a few; I only sleep with those that didn’t come to my cave to kill me”

Leaning her body against him she kissed him again, running her fingers over his whole body looking for spots that aroused him further.
Dern, still nervous, hesitantly lifted his hand to Aline's round, perky breast and touch it softly, feeling her smooth scales on the pads of his fingers.

"I've never been with... a reptile before,"

Dern wasn't sure how she'd react to being called a reptile. A moment's thought on it told him there was no reason she would dislike it, after all, that's what she was. Aline giggled and nipped his lip before pushing him to the moss and kissing her way to his tiny nipples buried under his fur.

“And after tonight you still won’t have been with a reptile for I am a dragon, not a mere reptile for I am not cold blooded.”

Dern lay back on the moss, slowly becoming engrossed in the sensation of her body against his. His fear was beginning to wash away, becoming overwhelmed by pleasure. Aline continued to explore Dern’s body before wrapping her lips around his manhood and lightly sucking on the tip a little moan escaping her.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't aware there was a difference."

Dern couldn't help but lift his hips a little as his back arched in response to her actions. Aline got excited by his reaction and ran her hand back up his body as she took him member deeper into her mouth shifting her body so that her rump was up by his shoulder as she bobbed and sucked on his erection.

Dern couldn't resist the temptation to glide his hand up the back of her thigh, running his fingers delicately along the inside of her leg. When he reached her folds, he gently trailed his fingers along Aline's groove before pushing them into her body. Aline lifted her head gasping for air when he pressed his fingers into her she moaned loudly

“Oh Dern you have no idea how long it’s been since a man has touched me there...”

After what now felt like an eternity, the dragoness allowed her desire to take full control, engulfing the lynx and herself in hours of pleasure long into the night and early morning.

Daemon Capital, Jormungandr. Within Strauss Tower

Out of the inmense city that reeked of foolish words and blood, many of the more, classy Daemons had their own residence within. Some of these were due to being of a revered line, having paved their line with honest or dishonest work or simply because they built it from the ground up. Strauss Tower was the only exception to any of the three. It is a large fortress, built to be an impossing 500 yards from the ground up. It isn't the largest tower in the city to be used as a form of quarters to a group of daemons, or in this case, one, but it is still considerably large and aged for itself. It's original use was to be a sign of power and destruction during the original war with the Devas many years ago and that same hue it retained remains to this standing age. The marks of war remain in it's walls to this day, as the cracks, arrows and even broken swords remain in certain edges on the outer bricks that form the foreboding abode. Even remains of what seem to be skeleton's hang idly by, they're hollowed skulls leaving a painful gaze towards the inhabitants below. Now, it stands to let those today watch the horror it shows and worse yet, allow a horrendous figure take home in. Strauss took care of it's original propieter more than a few decades ago and has taken up residence ever since.

For the last two days, Strauss and the princess had flown towards the deadly home. The only stops being made whenever the princess had the need to relieve herself, or when hunger assailed her body. It was assured that it wasn't his high moral or any care for the woman, but because he had no desire for his hostage to lose her will. If anything, as long as he kept her content and in check, the more fun it was for him to watch her attempt to escape his grasp and murder him all the while. Her clothes were sagged with blood, dirt and sweat, her expression visibly tired and her body aching in every possible corner. Her plans were void now, for her attempts at escape were simple and each time, he would punish her by rationing her meals to table scraps or near death drops at incredibly high altitudes. She knew he was toying with her, the torment reaching the point where she felt no fear and her body ailings like food and water were not even a necessity. Constantly did she faze in and out of consciouness through the flight, returning to her senses whenever Strauss let her fall off to her uncertain doom. Now, the two were within the Tower and out of all the horridness she could feel from him, this was certainly the worst.

"What..........do you intend........on doing with me....."
"Oh, so you're awake? I thought you died halfway."
"Don't mock me.......braggart..."
"Oh well. You shall known soon enough."

The inside of the tower itself was something that anyone who knew Maximillian and his sheer destructiveness would never believe. Paintings of detailed artists throughout the continent, bejeweled items befitting a museum or a fabled house, carpets dyed in silk and fur. His own quarters were the meaning of royalty and as Crystal watched, whom was slinged across his shoulder and had no choice but to look at what Strauss passed before him, believed she was in a noble house of some standing. Never did it occur to her that it was this killer's abode. As the large, round room opened up beyond the aged oak doors, her ample frame was tossed out towards the plush bedding, made of an unknown yet soft material. Her body rolled with a yelp as her soiled clothes sullied the clean fabric.

"Ack!"
"Oh, don't complain. That bed is comfy. Anyways.....I will leave you here to pretty much do as you please, until I find someone who will buy you. Don't think of escaping though, because the door shall remain locked. The cupboard has food, the wardrobe has clean clothes and everything here should be to your acomodations like at your palace."
"W-w-wha...?"

The Lunar Priestess was at a loss for words. Even though trapped and against her will, the conditions in which she was in were more than she could fathom. Just what did Strauss have in mind?

"Now, I am off."

The large fox suddenly turned around as his dragon wings showed the large, muscular figure towards the door. Crystal had no choice but to watch in fear and awe at the same time at her captor, but now was not the time to be enthralled by him. Now was the time to set her plan into motion and as the aged doorknob opened and the hinges creaked, her weak voice spoke out once more.

"Wait...."
"What is it."

His voice was as cold as steel, yet her words held their purpose. He didn't move an inch.

"You think you can leave me here......and think that I cannot escape?"
"I'm certain of it."
"And yet, even though I am unwilling to escape because of these accomodations, you don't lay a finger on me?"
"What about that?"

Finally, Strauss turned around. His voice was like that of a child's once more, for he picked up on what she meant.

"After you killed my guards and humiliated me in the worst possible fashion, I am surprised...."
"...that I wouldn't screw you?"
"How can you tell?"
"Because I didn't feel like it."

His face held a childish smile the whole time as he stared on towards her face all the while, not once looking at her lithe body and luscious curves. Crystal's voice held a vitallity unlike any she had before, the beautious frame slowly sliding off the bed as she fell on all fours. Battered and broken, her body still mustered up the courage to stand up and cross her arms beneath her bosom, quickly showing what tattered threads hid beneath.

"W-what...about now?"

Her eyes seemed to gleam innocence destroyed, a sad tear slowly running down her cheeks. Her face and body quivered under the shadow of the daemon that stood before her, her body offering itself for his own carnal desires.

"Oh, so it seems like the litte princess wants to be a grown-up, eh?"
"And who said I already wasn't...?"

As Strauss walked forth, his scythe and Bow nowhere to be seen and placing a hand beneath her chin, his face turned from a childish smile to a lustful one.

"Because if you were, you wouldn't be weak of the knees."

Once again, words pierced like cold steel. Her eyes began to cry once more, for a virgin to offer herself up like that and even to be discovered at such without much effort was disheartening. But within Crystal, something was wrong. For two days has she been with the murderous cretin and for two days has she weathered his torture, but now his last words only blew past her and helped to dampen what remained of her clothes in between.

"I....I..."
"Well, guess I shall teach you the ropes!"

In a blur of an action, her body was forced foward and towards the large bed. She did not even have time to squeal as his hands held down her thighs towards the bed. His muzzle had dug itself between the crevice of her breasts, pushing aside the clothes that held them back, his toungue beginning to amply train past her fur and into her nipple. Crystal could only moan in delight, the feeling of danger and sexuality further arousing the Priestess. Never had she experienced such a feeling before and for the first time, it felt like sheer bliss. Her hands did not push him back in defense, but rather held his head in to allow him to further explore her body. Strauss slowly spread her legs with his, the bump that was held back by fabric alone growing bigger by the passing second. Slowly, Crystal was succumbing to her own delights, but she remained true.

'I must.....distract him long enough. I cannot allow myself to fall.....to my own desire.'

Alas, for this being her first time, it was easier said than done, his mouth now pulling back and trailing further below, his hands holding her legs wide.

"Ahh....it feels......so good....."
"And it gets better."

_____________________________

Several hours later had passed, Crystal having succumbed to her own urges. Her body could no longer resist back on what the daemon dared to do, his musings no longer looking as horrid and disturbings as first seen. Slowly did she struggle to pull herself up, not bothering to cover herself as she looked foward. Before her stood the imposing dragon wings once more, his frame looking as muscular and arousing as ever.

"I must be off. Furs out there won't just kill themselves, you know!"

The morbid form with which he expressed this joke was no longer disturbing for the wolfette. She was too busy still writhing in the pleasures in which she had never felt before in her life. All she could so is watch at the demonic figure with resentfull eyes that yearned for his lust.

"I-I see......."

Even her tone carried the distinction of sadness within them. Strauss payed them no mind. Finally, the daemon character slowly opened the door that led outside of the room and as his figure slowly vanished behind the oak, Crystal crawled upon the bed. She didn't even bother to listen to wether or not Strauss had locked it, as she sprawled on the bed and slowly comforted herself by watching the painted roof of the conical room. Her thoughts only wallowed on the lustful act in which she craved to be in once more.

The pair made for an odd couple. However, they paid in gold in advance, so the innkeeper and his wife didn't ask any questions. More importantly, the girl could read. News spread fast and she had already packed the common-room with local farmers and laborers. For as distracted as her gaze looked, the wolverine-girl had a mysterious voice… easy to listen to, and hard to break away from. Where the girl had a voice to launch a thousand ships, her armored companion said nothing. He stood quietly behind the porcelain and purple-silk, mask he work, and followed the girl as a shadow. The innkeeper never asked him to surrender his sword, as he would have so many others. Something about the bodyguard seemed… off, but he could not put his finger on it. And, the girl paid in gold, so it was easy for the innkeeper and his wife to ignore the curiosities the pair made.

Caroline and her revenant sat outside, at a table on the porch of the coach house. The revenant stood guard, while his mistress worked on a chart and snacked on a tray of breads and fruits. Seeing Caroline put down a pen, Malinkov reached into the backpack, and pulled out a new pen nub, offering it to the wolverine-girl. She took it without saying a word, and went back to the chart she was working on. The revenant took the moment to look around. The two odd travelers had taken a days rest, and were enjoying the pleasant weather outside a coach house. It was a bright day, with only wisps of clouds in the sky. Sitting next to the window, they could hear violinist and drummer play some dancing music, while the patrons enjoyed the show.

"How is your meal?"

"Adequate. The fruit is a bit over-ripe, and the bread has cooled."

"Shall I get you a new meal?"

"No. Do you wish you could dance, Malinkov?"

"No, mistress. My only wish is to serve you."

Caroline smirked, "Is that so. And if One's wish was for you to dance?"

"Then I would serve that wish."

"Well, it's a good thing then that One does not waste her wish then." Caroline patted the bench next to her, indicating she wanted her guardian to sit next to her.

"Now, here on the map, One has marked where… an unknown stranger has come to town, helped out, and then left. As you can see, it's already acted a couple of times."

"What have you gleaned about the wild-kin dragon?"

"That has been trickier." Tapping the cover of the text, she lectured, "The libram has entries about dragons, but many of them are old, and in languages that are difficult to translate and read. One does not believe she is a brood-queen, or a breeder… but she might have left in order to find some company?"

"What makes you believe that?"

"Male dragons are few and far between… too much testosterone and aggression usually causes them to kill each other as they attempt to vie for the attention of breeders. As such, it would be better odds that our wild-kin is a girl-dragon."

"But why not a breeder?"

"One has not ruled out being a breeder… but breeders are usually older dragons… dragons favored by matriarchs and queens."

"And therefore you consider this wild-kin to be a youngling?"

"Perhaps not a youngling, but not a mature drake either. A bigger question would be, if she were not a breeder, why has she decided to enter the realms of the short-walkers again?"

"She might be a scout, or envoy of sorts. If the dragons have not interacted with the rest of the world for a while, they may want to see what has happened in their absence before they take any actions."

Caroline pulled out her bottle of perfume, and dabbed a tiny bit of it at the base of her neck. Slipping the bottle back into her sleeves, the wolverine-girl sipped at the spring-tea. "That does make sense, Malinkov. If she were a youngling, she could also have acted on her own out of boredom."

"So, we have a dragon-girl seeing the world for the first time. Quite interesting."

"Yes, yes it is."

The revenant took a look at the map and asked, "How many days till the frontier of Lunar?"

Caroline picked up a pair of calipers and measured, "One would estimate three or four days walking."

"Should I procure a pair of hawkstriders for us?"

"No, One can walk just fine. Besides, One might have an idea of how to get the attention of this dragon-kin."

"And that would be?"

"All in due time, Malinkov. All in due time."

"Yes, mistress."

Vailen and the other Rovers left the fort at dawn, a few staying behind to watch the place. It took them most of the morning to reach their destination. A ridge overlooking a valley. From there they hopped to spot the Eldar. Yet as soon as they arrived right in front of them stood the Eldar Frost Wolves. They were about to turn back when they heard a growl. Turning around they saw more of the Wolves. They were now at the mercy of the Eldar. With a sigh Vailen walked forward and knelt in front of a Eldar that was larger then the others.

“Razor, Alpha Lord of the Rendar Pack. I am Vailen son of Orden. For many years I have heard of your pack, not knowing if you were real or just a legend. Now I know.”

Vailen looked up at Razor.

“Razor, for months now you’ve been attacking the roads and killing the people. Why have you done this? What has drawn you to do this?”

Without a word Razor turned away and sat looking over the valley. Taking a chance Vailen stood up and looked over the valley. What he saw stunned and angered him at the same time. Down in the valley was a Pennyork camp. Vailen knew these were raiders. Though he doubt the Pennyork emperor had ordered these raiders into Lunar, it was not above the Pennyork nobles to pull a move like this. All around the camp was the pelts of wolves, most likely Eldar.

The other Rovers moved forward and saw what Vailen saw.

“So, thats why the Eldar have been attacking. They must have thought these raiders were Lunarians.”

Vailen nodded and sighed.

“Gentlemen, I know you lot are neutral and as Rovers we are not to get involved. But... though I may be a Rover now, I’m still a Lunarian and son to the Emperor. I will not allow this filth to desecrate this land any longer.”

That night the Pennyork Raiders slept soundly. They had driven the Eldar to attack the outer settlements and soon they would make their move. What they didn’t realize was that the Eldar had surrounded the camp. Though the camp was protected by wards to keep them out, that would soon prove to be a moot point.

Vailen stepped forward and cast a counter ward. The few guards that were watching the forest never knew what hit them as the Eldar attacked. By dawn all but a handful of the Raiders were dead.

Days later a troop of Lunar soldiers arrived at the fort. They had gotten word of the attack and were sent in to investigate. To their surprise the gate opened and Vailen stepped out. They all knew who he was and knelt down, bowing to him. The commander then spoke up.

“My Prince, what are you doing here? Your father...”

“There is no need for formalities Captain. Please all of you rise and come inside, you’ll want to see this.”

When they entered the troops eye’s grew wide. All around the fort were Eldar. In the back were some Rovers getting ready to leave. While in the center where the Pennyork survivors. Vailen turned to the soldiers.

“They belong to Lord Calvack. He’s a nobleman that resides in southern Pennyork. It seems he sent these raiders here to cause trouble and maybe bring in some slaves. To that end they drove the Eldar to attack hoping with the confusion they could strike. They didn’t realize that the Eldar can only be fooled for so long. It was also luck that me and my friends where in the area. At any rate, I believe you’ll want to take these men into custody and report this to my father.”

The Captain nodded and ordered his men forward. He then turned to Vailen who by now was on top of a large Eldar.

“My Prince, where are you going? We need to make sure you get home safe and sound.”

Vailen chuckled and shook his head.

“Thank you Captain but I’m a Rover now and as such my home for now is the road. I’ll return one day but just not yet. In the meantime, would also see to it that Razor and his pack make to the north safely, I think it would be better for all if they lived up there where there is more room and game for them.”

The Captain looked at the Eldar Vailen was riding. Vailen smiled and gently scratched the Eldars ears, causing a pleasant murr.

“This is Tazor, one of Razor’s younger pups. He’ll be traveling with me and my companions for a time.”

A few hours later the Rovers were out of sight. Though there would be hell to pay the Captain knew he couldn’t stop Vailen from leaving. With a sigh he turned and ordered his troop to move out. He left behind a squad to guard the fort. In a few days over one thousand soldiers would man the fort. Something was happening in Pennyork. There was also some strange reports coming in from Aordaf, something about an attack on some islands. Whatever was going on it worried Emperor Orden and so he ordered all forts to be manned, just in case.

Crystal sighed as she sat up on the bed. She never would have thought she would fall for a Daemon, let alone someone like Strauss. Yet, she yearned for him to come back. Her body ached in need. It had dawned on her that right there that he could be the one. The other Priestesses talked about how they felt when they knew. A burning inside that could only be sated by one other.

She smiled and laid back down. Looking back up at the sealing and pondered.

‘Could he truly be the one? We shall see,’ she thought.

Meanwhile back in Leneara...

“WHAT!!!”

Orden was furious at the news that his youngest daughter was taken and that all the guards were dead. He looked at the messenger, the young mouse shaking in fear as he looked up at the Emperor. With a sigh he sat down.

“Please forgive me. The new you brought me was just... never mind. I’ll see that you’re well paid. Thank You!”

The mouse bowed and left the throne room.

He looked at his wife who had broken down after the messenger left and was in the arms Railen, his oldest Son. Railen looked up, determination in his eyes. Orden shook his head.

“No my son, you will not go. For one we do not know where he’s taken her. For that we need trackers.”

He called forth he Advisers and told them the news. Word was quickly sent to for the best trackers and bounty hunters in the Empire to come forth. One way or another he would find his daughter and bring her home.

The Creature looked over his growing fleet. Most of the trees around the capital were gone. It would be ready to set sail here in a bit. A Reaver approached and the creature turned towards it.

“Master Philip, I’ve come to inform you that the last few ships will be ready to in less then two days.”

Philip nodded and dismissed the Reaver. Soon it will continue its function to destroy all those that dared to attack the Republic.

Casidian ascended the stairs into the light. The doors opened as he reached the top, light flooding his eyes. He could see the capitol building had still yet to calm. Paperwork, packages, and messages of various sorts were being passed about throughout the first floor. Casidian headed straight for the exit. He still had no clue what was happening, or who this 'partner' was. He needed to go home, he needed rest, it was all too much for one day.

Exiting the building, Casidian could see the people of Erst were still oblivious to the fact their emperor was dead. Runners bearing messages traveled on their way; street vendors battled for customers, shouting prices and sales. It was getting later in the day. The sun was beginning to go down, the temperature dropping. To the citizens of Erst, perfect weather to be out and about.

The walk home couldn't have seemed any longer. Casidian was relieved to finally reach his door. He opened it slowly, not sure if his family was still awake. Entering through the doorway, he saw them silently gathered around the table. They picked up their heads to him, Casidian could see tears in Anastasia's eyes.

"You've heard?"

Desca nodded his head slowly.

Casidian thought for a moment before taking a seat with them. They sat quietly for a moment before Casidian spoke up, "Nobody can know about this just yet."

"What?!" Desca blurted, "The people HAVE to know!"

Casidian shook his head, "No, they can't."

Anastasia looked at him puzzled, "Cas...what happened at the capitol?"

Casidian stood up and walked out of the room, down the hall to his own. He closed the door and sighed heavily. Right then, he noticed his window was wide open. He didn't leave it like that. He walked over slowly to investigate, spotting a note tacked onto the window sill.

It read: "Nice to meet you Casidian. I believe we will enjoy working together. You can find me at the Goldsweek Tavern. Rest up first. See you then. - Me"

The Goldsweek Tavern

"Sir..I think you've had enough to drink."

"I HAVE NOT!"

"No need to shout sir."

"You..no..need to shout."

"You've been here all day."

"it's been like 2 minutes."

"it's been 12 hours."

"Oh."
