Indeed. I'll send him a note about it. I wonder what would be the frightening nightmares that Phillip will send to him?
This is a unique scene, Caroline. The fact that she's fully aware of Phillip and that she could choose to willingly follow him instead of being controlled by him is rather frightening!
PS: Aaron... Before the players try to regain control from Phillip, will he make the heroes attack the kingdom or will he be trying to convert them into Reapers themselves?

Hm. HexPoint is a mewling malcontent. I mean, look at his conviction at the end of my first post (and the consequent ranting) versus the reality of his present. However, as confirmed by Prince Vailen, HexPoint is carrying with him the original, unabridged ancient daemon Book of Threnodies (created for mewling malcontentedness, yawohl!). Guess what he's been reading in the original scripture that makes him not only so emotionally conflicted, but gives him the nerve to have been using its remaining pages as his personal journal? Philip and Caroline have just discussed it more succinctly than I could have posted. This is also what I believe gets our super characters to work together. This is the underlying truth behind all the prophecies, destinies, and expectations our ToA furries have that motivates them to even bother with each other.

I'm glad Caroline's little chess-game went over well with you all. I was kinda worried that... since it didn't involve sex or face-punching it wouldn't be what the audience wanted.
And, Drofgod, I kinda like the idea that, since your character doesn't sleep, but... meditates or something like that, that he's the one who notices the whole "Phillip's in our zone attacking our base" kinda stuff. )) |

It was actually rivoting and entertaining to read it, Caroline. With the way the chess game was played out, it demonstrated that not all combat is physical.
Dro: Pertaining to what she said earlier, your character could sense what Phillips is trying to do, allowing you to try to help us stop him from controlling us.

Well... I would go with Caroline's notion and just scrap Dro's idea of a methodical rescue plan... If we either get a majority vote for it or A_T does the GM override. If not, I will wait too.
Most I can do is Note Dro via FA, and petition the Goddess Athena for his well being. Cos u know some wishes do come true.

It's $?!% or get of the pot time. It has been over a month now, getting upwards of 45 days, as well as a week since the last "Let's check in with Drof and see what's up" posts. I apreciate that Drofgod969's part was to be him breaking his medidtative state to realize something was foul in the state of Denmark. But, we've now lost a month. If this were a paper RPG, the game would be over.
As such, I am of the opinion we skip Drofgod969 for now, and just keep plugging forward. We can always have him merge back in with his next post. )) |
