The blue caribou went as fast as he could through the water up to the red cardinal on the bank. He raised his brow at her feathers showing through her soaked dress for a moment.
"Here, madam. Take my hand..." he said,
Mr Hex cocked his head to balance himself and to help the lady bird to her feet. He held Ms blossom by her forearms.
"I've got you."
Hex's ears flicked in the direction of Andrew's voice when his hooves slide a bit into the stream bed.
"Oh, my..."

Serena blushed from Hex's look as he pulled her from the river. But Hex's hooves slid into the shallow edge of the river.
"It's a good thing you're tall, Mr. Hex, or you'd be as wet as I am," Serena laughed. "Thank you," she said as they climbed back onto the riverbank.
She looked at Andrew as he arrived. "I do believe we are okay now," she replied.

Hex scratched his antlers and put his dry cloak over the bird.
"Ahem, yes... Please stay dry milady. Watch over her, Andrew. I have to get across the bank to fetch the apple we need for your concoction."
Hex hurriedly waded through the water to the other side and grabbed an apple from the ground. Then, he picked one from the tree. Hex tried to hurry back but found himself falling forward into the creek with a splash.
He picked himself up some, saying "I still have the apples!"

The blue caribou let Blossom and Andrew each grab a forearm to help him back onto dry land. Hex set his apples down by his shoes and cloak, then he proceeded to unbutton his shirt.
"Pardon my lack of Victorian propriety, but I am soaked. If you'll excuse me, madam..?"
Hex turned around to face the creek, shaking his antlers, and squeezing the water out of his long sleeve shirt.
He set it down and put on the cloak Andrew loaned him, saying "If only this were longer I would walk back to your tree house like a Franciscan monk. Wet pants are annoying. But at least we have all your alchemy components, sir."
Hex put the apples into his pockets, grabbed his shoes with one hand, and picked up Miss Blossom's book if herbs with the other.
"I am ready when you are." he said smiling.

As the soaked lady bird bent over slowly, the strapping caribou raised a brow, pitching a tent for two beneath his cloak.
"After you, madame... Sir Andrew...", replied Hex, following them back to the sloth's tree house.

Mr Hex placed Miss Blossom's book and Mr Sloth's apples on the table as well. The blue caribou then walked down the hall and to the left room, where he removed his wet clothes, keeping the large hooded robe on. Hex sighed at his lack of proper Victorian decorum and walked out with his wet clothes hin hand.
He nodded, smiling at the lady bird as he stoked the fireplace and set up a short clothesline by it. He was rather quick about hanging his clothes to dry, crossing his arms and making his ears flick once he was done.
"What happens in Bon Bon shall remain discreet... yes?" he said, looking over a massive shoulder, firelight gleaming off his antlers.

Serena walked over to the fire and sat down next to Hex and stretched her hands towards the fire. "It's ok. You got wet and you need to dry. If I had a change, I would. But it would be embarrassing to do it here anyways."

Hex shook his antlered head in surprise and almost knocked down a picture set on the chimney.
"Why mister Andrew..! You're not knowledgeable, you're a master alchemist if you can make a potion of such incredible power..."
He walked up to both of them, looking at the strange brew in the sloth's paw... "Can it turn me into a grasshopper, or Betty Goldblum from the Delight Castle? But more importantly, how could one change back?"

Hex raised a brow, taking a lit candle from Andrew's workshop table. "I will go first, but not without a personal precaution. No offense, Andrew.."
The large blue caribou waved the burning candle in a peculiar pattern above his antlers, saying, "Ia! Azatoth!" and blowing out the candle. Then he took a small dropper from Andrew's table and dipped it into his magic potion.
"Wish me luck!" he said. And with two drops on his tongue, he shook his head. "My tongue absorbed the chemical... I feel... odd.."
The antlers on Hex's head seemed to shrink away, as if he were getting younger, and his muscular frame also got smaller. In another moment, he was about the size of Miss Blossom, his features were softer, and had, instead of antlers, a short crop of fine black hair. He gasped in a refined falsetto, smiling.
"Incredible..!" said Hex, unabashedly loosening his robe to reveal the naked body of a fine blue caribou doe.
"I... I'm a woman..!", she exclaimed with a surprised smile.

Hex giggled, making her breasts bounce. "I always wondered what this would be like... Now I must know if the natural infredients of this potion are what's making such transformations possible. I mean, I never studied fish physiology..."
Hex let her robe fall to the floor, blushing for a moment. Then sitting down on it, she closed her eyes and shrank down in size, and shape... It was groresque until the final change. Hex was now a catfish.
It was strange for him, but Hex didn't stop there, finding it difficult to breathe. He shrank again, trying to turn into a lemon, but only for a second. A heartbeat later, he was back to his normal, muscular male caribou body. He seemed a bit shaken.
"By the gods..! I think I will keep the transformation to the female form. Ha hah!" he said, changing into his doe body. Hex seemed much more comfortable with it now, winking at Miss Blossom.
"Well, would madame cardinal peak her curiosity? It is temporary, after all. Why not see, and enjoy this magic?"

Serena turned to Andrew, who was now Ms. Sybillia. "Is it possible to change things like a chair to a portrait? Or a table to a broom?"

"Ah," she said staring at the the mixture in the bowl. "Well, it's worth a shot."
Serena took a small pinch of the powder and tossed it on herself. Very quickly her feathers turned to fur. Her tail changed to a long wolf's tail. Her color changed from red to silver.
"Marvelous! Who would've thought such simple ingredients would make something so amazing!"
She quickly changed back. "That was quite odd, but I think I'll stick to my normal self."
