Wow......
I'm sorry man, I hope that you can take these instances of life and hope that one day you will not have to suffer and that you will be able to help your loved ones.

Thank you everyone for your support during this difficult time.

Today is the funeral, and I'll be gone most of the day.

Hopefully after this, things will get a little easier. ^_^

The dead are dead, but we bury them alive. They live on in our hearts and in our memories, though their hearts beat no longer. Live not for the dead, but for the living. Live for the living, but remember for the dead. And walk ever forward, until others remember for you.

I know how terrible that totally helpless feeling is and how real the threat of losing your mind to it is. I've only ever had one experience like that in my life, some months ago, but I can still remember how it felt. I'm not saying my situation is comparable to yours or that I know how you must feel. I am saying I can understand it. And I'm appalled at the way your family acted over something as simple and serious as a burial site, I won't lie. If you need someone to talk pain with, you can certainly come to me. If nothing else, I know how to deal with it well enough, even when it is'nt always easy. In the meantime, taking a leave from everything is a good idea and I'm glad to see you're doing it. But eventually, you'll have to come back to what you've left and that only gets harder the longer you are away. I'm not saying you should come back now or soon or rush into it, but keep that in mind. Also, while staying positive is a good thing, you need to get that negative stuff out or it'll start to rot you from the inside out. Scream, cry, punch, kick, curse, whatever feels right to you to get that stuff out, make sure you do it.

I fell like this is a curse rampaging around the world, my mother and younger sister both did this (i'd rather not mention anything else) but it really helps by talking to friends, weither it be online or in real life. Talking out any frustration, sadness or confusion seemed to be how i got through it. But trust me and I think I speak for everone here when I say that it will get better, time is not set in stone, but it will get better.
And I cannot express how sorry I am about your loss, but always remember, we are your friends here.

^_^ Ashton Gray, you always seem to know exactly what to say. Thank you. If it were possible I would have used your exact words at the funeral.

I had to get offline to cry after reading this. It felt good to cry.
My bed on the other hand may need to be replaced ^_^ , I took your advice ....

There is a hole in the wall shaped like my fist and I knocked a few chips and pieces out of my bed frame with my hands. ..... It still hurts to type ^_^

And to our newest members .......

I truly appreciate the both of you

BioRust, I'm saddened to hear that my life draws a striking resemblance to yours in that we have both suffered heavy losses. This is something that no one should ever be cursed to experience. you are right time is starting to mend the pains I feel, I'm honored to call you a friend. ^_^

Vanja, After reading you erotic jokes I can honestly say that I have truly laughed without being troubled by my fathers tragic death at the same time. Thank you for that moment of bliss, even if it only lasted for a fraction of a second it was a welcome change. ^_^

You could always send the members of your family letters or emails with that in them. I only ask that you mention it was a friend who wrote it.

You should invest in a punching bag.

It would be wise to do so, but if you would rather punch the wall go right ahead, just don't bring your house down. And some Icy-Hot might help with the typing pain.

(Update on my situation)

Happy 2010 Everyone V_V

What better way to start off the New Year than with a little more family drama

My deceased father's side of the family has just filed murder charges against my mother.

They claim that she drove him into a suicidal depression which resulted with my dad hanging himself.

On top of that

My 15 year old sister is starting to suffer from a mental break down , which is understandable at this time but she is starting to violently lash out at my mother ( mom is now being attacked by my sister and Dad's side of the family)and regrettably my sister is refusing to see a psychiatrist or deal with her emotions.
_______________

I'm surprisingly unfazed by everything. I've been doing my grief counciling, seen psychiatrists and therapist, and I've had the support of several (if not all) PBB members to help me coup. ^_^

But I am scared out of my mind for my mothers well-being, I'm doing all that I can possibly do (I even moved out of my apartment and moved in back home to help mom deal with the harassment)

Predictable, wanting to blame someone for something like this, but murder charges? That is certifiably insane. If you want an opinion, if you can't figure out a way to settle this with those fools, I'd consult a lawyer. I think harrasment and endangerment are good places to start.

Harassment and endargentment?
More like false charges and assault to me.
The lawyer isn't such a bad idea.
